@ mc debola. We can't compare Lagos and abuja . But 1,000 pages to 7 pages! . Haba. What kind of dormancy is that. Abuja uber drivers . please come out and share your experiences. You don't have to tell us about your earnings. But @ least give inputs so that people can be guided accordingly before investing. I believe I am speaking the minds of a lot of abuja folks interested in this e hailing gig. 2 Likes |

@ mcdebola We know Lagos has a bigger market than Abuja and Lagos riders are more financially buoyant than abuja riders. But I was expecting more inputs from the uber drivers in abuja. @ pezok u mean active watsap or Instagram. |

@ phranex Mr app developer. Drive on the uber/ taxify platform for a week and test your hypothesis . Let's see whether you can deliver 30k. Talking of drivers eating of ur sweat. Whose sweat will bring the cheese that you are about to share 65/35? I maintain my earlier stand. YOU are not empowering any driver by bringing a car. You are helping yourself. Already calculating 9k *7 = 63. :- Oga ! Do you work 7 days a week?. So why do you want your drivers to drive 7 days/ week. Typical Nigerian employer . 5 Likes |

@ phranex I suggest you do it yourself. Stop putting all uber drivers in one box. Putting uniforms on drivers! The typical Nigerian employer 11 Likes |

@ phranex The driver and the car owner are partners in progress. You talk about remitting 30k weekly to you. You believe its so easy to drive about. Why do corporations employ drivers to drive their executives? Oga . its not class or status. Driving for extended periods interferes with the creative and critical functions of the brain. You think 30k will drop without some real physical driving efforts from the driver ? Let me give it you straight up "YOU are not empowering anyone by bringing your car to the platform. Its a win - win Without the efforts of the driver, you can't make money . I think you should try and drive on the uber/ taxify platform for a day so as to correct the erroneous impression that you are helping the driver. No Sir , you help yourself. 8 Likes |
Travel / Re: Mercer: Lagos Ranked 8th Most Expensive City In Africa, 47th In The World by drizzle25(m): 3:26am On Sep 18, 2018 |
Lagos is more expensive. Accomodation is the only expensive item in Abuja and even at that it depends on where you want to live. Services ( are relatively affordable) in Wuse 2 , Maitama, the supposedly equivalents of V.I and lekki in Lagos. For instance barbershops in wuse 2 and maitama don't charge more than #2,000 per haircut. Meanwhile a similar outfit in V.I will cost you at least twice that rate. Look @ transport. Berger to Lagos island ( Oke Arin Market/ Ebute ero) will cost you #250 by bus. A distance of less than 20km Suleja to Berger bus stop will cost you #250. by bus. A distance of About 40km. Note both scenarios involve using expressways. so the argument of traffic gridlock holds no sway. I give it to the consulting firm. Abuja is overhyped. Lagos is way more expensive than Abuja. 1 Like |

Romance / Re: Why Are There Too Many Single Ladies These Days? by drizzle25(m): 2:50am On Sep 03, 2018 |
1. Ladies generally marry up the socio- economic class. A Lady earning around 100- 120,000 monthly will fancy men earning above that pay grade. How many young men earn above 120,000 in the " Nigeria" of today? 2. Fear of the unknown by the eligible bachelors 3. The Nigerian economy. 7 Likes |
Most men are not ready to be responsible, that's why. And women these days prefer to be single have kids, than settle with just any guy for marriage sakes. Gone are those days, a woman will be suffering and smiling. More women are not ready to be treated as slaves in a marriage they spend their hard earned money on. The guy more or else doesn't contribute anything other than sex, collects her money and he will still be as controlling as fucvk! Some slaps here and there, feeling he should be able to make her scared of him. Why would a man instill fear in his wife instead of respect from his wife So, Most single ladies don't need such stress biko. Personally, I can never marry a controlling, abusive, lazy man. I rather remain single and have kids instead. ./quote] Watch what you wish for. 1 Like |
