I created a thread in 2018 on nairaland seeking help how to remedy a TECNO wx3lite which I bought because of 4g, the phone was not up to a week, when the phone showed me real inside life. Tecno fan and marketer defended the brand some even insulted me, but me no send them, the thread was deleted

I might even been one of those that insulted you bro, but when my tragedy happened I learnt very big lesson, these days the people parading nairaland are their marketers they don't have fans again on nairaland even if they did it would be few

I'd drag them for what they did to a friend recently

When tecno and infinix graced Africa for the first times they were trying but the moment they noticed we were gullible they started feeding on our insecurities being ignorance, I admit I was a victim of this ignorance,they don't change processors what they only do is change designs and sell it new, a phone bought newly would take only one month to start hanging

let me tell you a story

As a DIY guy, my friend bought a dish and free to air decoder, so he called me to help him in tracking Astra 28.8E and badir sat. As a novice but willing to learn kind of person I downloaded "satelite founder " due to the fact that my phone add compass sensor, it was responding and viewing all points in azimuth, my friend was amazed and decided to download same app in his Tecno phone, lo and behold when he opened the app, it was not responding, the satellite pointer just remained static, I can see the disappointment in his face but me no send am, that is how we use my phone to point at the direction of the satellite and did little adjustment, the free to air channels came up.
moral of my story, never listen to a Tecno marketer that says sensor don't matter

some even said so far as the phone can make phone calls, that you are good to go, that processor and sensors don't matter

Just came across this device below on gsm arena, retailing for 59 dollars having better camera hardware that tecno camon 15 and processor almost like what tecno/infinix has been using in all their devices... although the helio p22 not much better, I say to what end selling a scrap in packaging of tecno camon 15 premier for 95k infinix selling the s5 models over 50k

In this case, my guys here think or feel that we're biased against iPhones and therefore tag us as biased. That means those thoughts of being biased against iPhones are being projected from their subconscious towards my person.

This is usually used as a defence mechanism when people get called up about something, they transfer it to someone else whilst denying it in themselves.

In my reply, I was very careful to not project any form of what I felt unto their person.

I remember some while ago, Darevid (arguably the most innovative photographer here) posted a photo here and someone praised Tecno, I objected and told the person to complement the photographer instead. No one complained, even the guy I corrected was cool with me.

But now I have said something against iPhone and now I'm tagged biased. You see that the defence mechanism has kicked in.

We all have it, it's just that I dey try to ignore my biases (I get them too, plenty) and stay as objective as humanly possible. If I make a mistake, I'm glad to take corrections.
