ByDecember-January it will be obvious we are facing a coronation for Tinubu.

North knows they will shift the dynamics of peaceful coexistence of Nigeria forever, to their detriment, working for Atiku.

This alone will make many Northerners who want to have long careers in the politics of a united Nigeria work passionately for Tinubu and not Atiku.

For a lot of Northerners, once you go Atiku, after 8 years of Buhari, you can't go back because you have drawn the battle lines for the South to escape what their people and leaders will view as enslavement by the North. Very, very dangerous to unite the usually disunited South with a Northern Presidency that will be viewed as Northern 'imperialism'.

SW is completely for Asiwaju. He will do okay in the SS, getting the required 25% in most States. Tinubu may only underperform in the SE but that is okay as it is doubtful, even with Obi on the ballot, Asiwaju will do worse than Buhari did.

All in all, I personally don't see this election as close. I may be arrogant but I think Nigerian politics is very peculiar and like Nigerian 419 in the sense that
you will never understand it except involved in it.

Behind the scenes , those who have foremost influence have already concluded Tinubu 'lokan'. They will make it happen 100%.

Tinubu will teach them politics 101. He will define what structure really means to them, and how useful is political structure. Twitter has no structure. Thats why Elon Musk sacked all execs of the company with a fiat, because Twitter has no polling booth.

These busy bodies were probably borne after 2002. Even then, don’t they have access to past judgements on same matter? The court should award 100 billion charges against them for bringing frivolous and vexatious cases to court.

Olden days come look more developed than the so-called 21st century. Are we moving backward or forward?

See as everywhere clean, organised. There's literally no much difference in the infrastructures and technology of those era (pre-1999 Nigeria) from that of the industrialised worlds of today to me, but somehow, somewhere we got it wrong, smh, and we're here still grappling with the second industrial revolution, and attempting to integrate into the third one.

And some may attribute those erstwhile growth to the military government, but are the developed countries of today necessarily the way they are under a dictatorship?

I just pray we get it right with Peter Obi, because if his drafted manifesto is anything to go by, I am impressed with and looking forward to him solving these issues and simultaneously launching us into the fourth industrial revolution.

It is honestly so very promising, and bubbling with high hopes (for everything about ourselves and our welfare).

Thats when Obi and other poor leaders had not come into office. After they came into office, they mismanaged the states and caused high unemployment rates in Anambra and rest. These led to mass exodus from these failed states to Lagos. This led to population explosion in Lagos thereby causing degeneration and degradation of Lagos streets. Agbero then increased in numbers.

common sense should tell you that Brazil have a system that works which makes it less cumbersome for any president no matter his age to get to work..that cannot be said of a diverse state like Nigeria where we are bedevilled with institutional problems that require a young,relatively young and vibrant leader to tackle these problems.

The spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has reacted to the recent responses given by the five presidential candidates who came to Kaduna during the Arewa consultation to inform the North and Nigerians in general what they intend to do, should they be elected as president in 2023.

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed who spoke on Channels Television noted that though all the presidential candidates were given some of the topics which will be asked prior to the date of the consultation, but it was only Peter Obi who tried to answer one of the major question which was required of them to answer.

The spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum pointed out that the labour party presidential candidate was trying to answer the issue of trust; why the north, and all Nigerians in general should have a reason to trust them.

He said despite given the candidates these questions in advance to enable them study and prepare to give a concrete answer, the former governor of Anambra state was the only one who made an attempt to address such question.

In his words... "He was refining, one of those questions that was this big, I think refers to the point where Peter Obi was trying to answer one question that we sent to all of them. Why should the North trust you, why do you think you're the best candidate"

Peter Obi had, during the Arewa consultation in Kaduna stressed the need for Nigerians to look for who they can trust, as it is not merely about making promises, but ensuring those promises are kept.
