Why can't people proffer solutions without having to advertise their products?

Dfavouredone: the test is basically current affairs - diff dates of creation of states, diff head of state and the date they rule and many more naija base current affairs. then we hv some computer questns, some simple physics/chem questions,some word problem maths, english (fill in the blank space and oral), two verbal reasoning questions came out, some mathematical expression to solve. the test is not shl rather is basically secondary sch stuff. it is diff but similar questions for diff ppl. i read engineering, so i dont knw if dat is why i hv phy/chm on my own, though they were ok. without fretening the art student, the science students will enjoy my kind of questn more.so probably the non science guy may not contain phy/chm but definitely will contain those common to both like curent afair, maths, computer n verbal.

drlizzy: Info just reaching me says,50 questions to be answered in 30mins.Current affairs,Mathematics,English and comprehension.Please those that wrote today what do we expect?Are the questions same for each period?Are the questions by type?

90% of your security lies with your web host.

Once there is an intrusion at the server level, whatever security measure(s) you must have put in place becomes useless.

Having said that, for wordpress, you can do the following:

1. Create FTP access ONLY when you need to upload files. .And once ure done uploading, delete the FTP username/password created

2. Your cPanel password should be as complex & as secure as possible

3. Add this line to your "wp-config.php" define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true );

WordPress, by default, allows you the to ability edit theme and plugin files directly from within the WordPress admin panel.

Useful, but potentially high risk.

Let’s say that somehow, someone has gained admin privileges into your WordPress administration. If they want to add code to your WordPress site/deface your wordpress site like they did, all they need to do is jump onto the file editors and add any code they wish.

This means they don’t FTP access or anything like that, as WordPress provides them all the access they need to edit files.

So setting 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT' to true means your files cannot be edited.

4. Regularly update your wp version/plugins

This should do for now

Slyr0x: Login to PhpMyAdmin >> Click on your Database >> Click on table "wp_users" (depends on the prefix you gave yours) >> Edit >> Change "user_login" to whatever you want >> Click on GO >> DazALL

Dual Core: Bro change it by editing it from the database.

talk2hb1: For the login: try to login into your cpanel and check the database if you are mistaking your username if it is a password issue you can request for change of password, below the login form.
For the header: You need to use widget this is under the appearance menu, just add the widget to the sidebar if your theme supports widget.

mrkels: Its a wordpress site , that shouldn't be hard if can take time and learn , about security , there are some powerful security plugins you can DL into your site and that would take care of all your security loopholes, its so userfriendly , you really don't have to know how to use it self to "use it "

One other thing , am guessing your login username details is Admin
Change that for a start.

uchokoro: Please if you are coming from Ondo or Benin, First find out where the vehicle carrying you will stop. One option that should work whatever the case is to stop @ uniport/choba and take a bus to mile 3. ask the bus driver to stop you @ ust junction. you can then walk into the school. That should be a better alternative for you guys than going to waterlines which will be a merry go round for you. waterlines will be better for those coming from Aba, Enugu, Abuja etc.

nayture: you will need to contact your hosting provider to reissue your login details. that will solve the whole issues
