Do not create more states ,some of the states already created are not viable and only waste resources through unnecessary huge overhead. We should rather concentrate on aggressively fighting corruption, purging the judiciary of corruption and inefficiency, strenghten our security, create jobs and reconcile Nigerians. We need to run an efficient, accountable local government system and bring development closer to the people.

Good, i support this policy. If well implemented would impact positively on our national development. Let us use NYSC to ensure adequate food production especially rice, tackle shortage of teachers in our rural areas and to improve rural infrastructures. However corpers should not be posted to areas where government cannot quarantee their safety especially the boko haram infested northern Nigeria. This is the time to encourage mechanised agriculture and this involves alot of initial preparations that need to be in place before implementing this policy.

Na wah for this ibo guys, so you wan steal other people's land? Just ask an average Nigerian outside the five eastern states if they would want to join you to form a country and the answer will be capital no; so stop dreaming.

We should rather emphasize how Nigeria can work as a nation rather than talking about division. If we have a proper federation with each state controling her resourses, that will be fine and we still enjoy the benefits if being in one big country. Division is not the solution to our problems. Just look at our local government and states, are they doing well? Take for example, states have executives, judiciary and legislatures from the same state, yet, the states and local governments are not working. Is Nigeria responsible for the state of Aba and Abia state today? The answer is no. It is Abians. We need to stand up against corruption in every way possible, demand for good governance and i assure you we will think less of our states and ethnic groups. We have brothers and sisters in foreign lands who do not want to come back to Nigeria because their adopted countries provide them security, jobs and good infrastructues. Nigeria is not the problem but Nigerians.
If Nigeria must be divided, the eastern Nigeria, as we currently have it, should remain as a nation - fear not, you will survive . Other geo-political zones should also form their own countries. A well conducted referandum should tell us which zone would want to go with which zone.
