rhymz: Hahahaha. . . Is it not obvious that you seriously have comprehension problems and confusing things?
Where in the link was it mentioned that any of these schools were founded by religious bodies. .LMAO and you query why I dey yab you?
HAVARD UNIVERSITY: Harvard University is an American private Ivy League research university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, established in 1636 by the Massachusetts legislature. Harvard is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States
Harvard was founded in 1636 by vote of the Great and General Court of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, making it the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Initially called "New College" or "the college at New Towne", the institution was renamed Harvard College on March 13, 1639. It was named after John Harvard, a young English clergyman from Southwark, London, an alumnus of the University of Cambridge (after which Cambridge, Massachusetts is named), who bequeathed the College his library of four hundred books and £779 pounds sterling, which was half of his estate.[20] The charter creating the corporation of Harvard College came in 1650. In the early years, the College trained many Puritan ministers.[21] The college offered a classic academic course based on the English university model—many leaders in the colony had attended the University of Cambridge—but one consistent with the prevailing Puritan philosophy. The college was never affiliated with any particular denomination, but many of its earliest graduates went on to become clergymen in Congregational and Unitarian churches throughout New England
UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD: As the oldest university in the English- speaking world, Oxford is a unique and historic institution. There is no clear date of foundation, but teaching existed at Oxford in some form in 1096 and developed rapidly from 1167, when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris.
Cambridge University: The university grew out of an association of Cambridge scholars that was formed in 1209, early records suggest, by scholars leaving Oxford after a dispute with townsfolk.
The official founding of Cambridge University is traced to the enhancement, by a charter in 1231 from King Henry III of England, which awarded the ius non trahi extra (a right to discipline its own members) plus some exemption from taxes, and a bull in 1233 from Pope Gregory IX that gave graduates from Cambridge the right to teach everywhere in Christendom.
It is Obvious you are confusing the fact that besides the King of Englands Monarchy, the Popacy was a type of absolute Monarchy that was even stronger than the english Monarchy of the time. His edict or recognition of a Charter to an already existing higher school of learning does not trascend to the church founding this institutions.

Even John Havard was not the founder of the school. That he was the biggest benefactor of the school did not make him the founder.
Nigga stop confusing yourself jare.
And what are you on about Godly values and all that religious balderdash about clever devils. Who are you to tell somebody with differeny views about morals and God that they are right or wrong. Who made you an arbiter of right and wrong? This is exactly the arbitrariness that I am talking about. People forcing their own set of morals, justice, and sense of decency on others without respecting theirs. You need to stop this nonsense and realize you are not the only one with your own set of rules.
So the words clergy man, Papacy, Papal Bull, Christendom and the qoutes i showed you earlier sounded like arabic, islamic or secular to you....??
Funny... how the mind can be so bent to colour every thing in its own light. You have also buttressed my point, ie to show that all through the ages Christians, whether clergy men, Popes, Papal Bull, Christendom have been the champions of great institutions as we have them today. If however you cant build some thing better, at least have the humility of not pouring your bile on these institutions. They were built with certain aims in mind and for a target group. If you dont like them, make an alternative choice and not to pull down what you can not build that Thousands are benefiting from.

meeka4: DID that work in the niger delta?
Hey thats a different scenario here. There is difference btw a freedom fighter "terrorist" fighting to redress economic wrongs; and a "Religious Jihadist" terrorist fighting for the propagation of his "god". One atacks physical installetions and takes hostages for ransome, whilethe other takes delight in beheading as many humans he can to achieve his aims. Once the freedom fighters in the niger delta went beyond the scope of their influence to start attacking nigerians, OBJ taught them a bitter lesson. Men have not shown more bestiality as when the think they are fighting for a religious cause. Circumstances change and for that purpose new circumstances demand new study to effectively remedy it. By the Way, how long should this 'lets dielogue' thing continue with the leaders ever remaining faceless. Such waste of time is already working for their favor, since without any slight resistance from their victims, they continue to wipe them out in great numbers in the name of their "god".
Among other things, no negotiation can be reached except the other party knows what it has a great deal to loose or the terror they will be subjected to if they do not negotiate. I am afraid the religious terrorist has already counted this and is comfortable with the notion that after all i have nothing to loose, since , a life of "bliss' awaits me in the after life with the delightful comfort of Lovely virgins that will make me forget all my sorrows.

rhymz: Like seriously how old are you? Are like 5 or something cos you sure present your case worse than a toddler. Mr Man, the establishment of Oxford, Havard or even Cambrige had little or nothing to do with any religious sect let alone catholics. Stop citing them as examples and asking me to do research on them like you know any better, it is you who should check your facts here before making very dumb and unfounded claims you can not prove. I dare you to bring evidence of any of these schools connections to a religious sect or order.
Again I warn you stop this your zig-zag argument that is contradictory and pointless. What have muslims got to do with the point I am trying to make. I went to St Finbarr's College and my kid brother was there when the management became full time missionary, it did not turn the school intolerant, till date they still take in students of all background and religious belief, they still maintain thesame tenets of respecting people's freedom to express their own belief through their own religious tenets. You sounded like a Fool trying to guage my views as based on the fact that I grew up in Lagos. Do you know how many Nigerian and African cities that I have visited since I left secondary school? Do I come across to you as some parochial local champion that views issues from the confines of regional boundaries? Matter of fact am not even in Lagos. Nigga, stop trying to psychoanalyze me and just address the issues, you barely know me.
From your myopic view, you are of the opinion that since Christian churches are busy erecting Universities they run like monastries, muslims should go ahead and build Universities run with strict sharia laws. Do you know how divisive such a situation will be. The last thing any educated person need is religiously bias orientation and psyche. People go to Universities to broaden their educational experience and gather more knowledge not to be reformed, religiously re-orienred and indoctrinated.
Seems to me you are dont know how to go about making research. Let me Get you started, you go and do the rest, instead of being petty and abusive, because what you seriously feel emotional about is being subjected to questioning. I have to be very laconic because of the brevity of space.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Harvard_University
With some 17,000 Puritans migrating to New England by 1620, Harvard was founded by ministers who realized the need for training clergy for the new commonwealth, a "church in the wilderness." It was named for John Harvard, its first benefactor. It received its corporate charter in 1650 and became a university in 1780.An early, anonymous description of the college, New England's First Fruits (1643) recalled:

"After God had carried us safe to New England, and we ... rear'd convenient places for God's worship ... dreading to leave an illiterate Ministry to the Churches, when our present Ministers shall lie in the Dust ... it pleased God to stir up the heart of one Mr. Harvard, a godly gentleman and a lover of learning ... to give the one half of his estate ... towards the erecting of a college and all his Library."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Oxford
From its early days, Oxford was a centre for lively controversy, with scholars involved in religious and political disputes. John Wyclif, a 14th-century Master of Balliol, campaigned for a bible in the vernacular, against the wishes of the papacy. In 1530, Henry VIII forced the University to accept his divorce from Catherine of Aragon, and during the Reformation in the 16th century, the Anglican churchmen Cranmer, Latimer and Ridley were tried for heresy and burnt at the stake in Oxford.

Boston University (often initialized as BU) is a private research university located in Boston, Massachusetts. With more than 4,000 faculty members and more than 31,000 students, Boston University is one of the largest private universities in the United States[6] and one of Boston's largest employers.[7] The university is nonsectarian,[8] but is historically affiliated with the United Methodist Church.[9][10]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Chicago
The University of Chicago was created and incorporated as a coeducational,[16] secular institution in 1890 by the American Baptist Education Society and a donation from oil magnate and philanthropist John D. Rockefeller on land donated by Marshall Field.[17] It emerged from a Baptist university of the same name that had closed in 1886 due to financial difficulties. William Rainey Harper became the modern University's first president on July 1, 1891,

Harper, a young Biblical scholar from Yale, incorporated into Chicago’s early charter a commitment to gender equality in both undergraduate and graduate education and, remarkably, considering the initial intention to found a Baptist institution, to an atmosphere of nonsectarianism. This commitment to an accepting environment and equal opportunity distinguished the university in its early years and holds firm today

Like is said You do the rest...
But note that Oxford was formed when English Students were denied from the University of Paris. The English did not sit down and cry wolf....They did something of their own. You do something.. better than criticizing other peoples efforts. Note, these are private Institutions and they have aims and purpose of establishing the University, so when you are there abide by there rules.
On the Second bolded in ur remark.
While it is intended to get a "universal education", what that means is subject to individual speculation and i dont think you cant get that i the private schools either. But if you mean to say they dont allow social activities as you think fit or give you atheistic philosophy and oultook and the encourage liberal views not in consonant with their aims, maybe you are right there. Not every type of Education is good for the purpose of developing human minds and building great soceities. The worst thing in Education is to train up a devious person without moral and Godly Values, it Produces Clever Devils. And in turn makes society the worse for it! Thats when we begin to churn out Learned cheats, intellectual cultists, funny revolutionaries and Well learned devious politicians, who breed chaos and anarchy. The Sponsors of Boko Haram fit into this number. In normal federal Universities you now spend 5-6yrs for a course of 4years etc.

rhymz: Nigga please shut up you are mouthing off useless redundant platitudes. What has bokoharam and sanusi got to do with anything here. Do you even understand the gibberish you are spewing here?? Which Oxford, Cambridge and Havard are church owned?? How old is this kid that is incapable of comprehension? You keep contradicting yourself with incoherent argument and muddling up issues. You are a pathetic lier that whose words worths nothing to even the mouth that speaks it, which Northern state is sharia compliant? Until between 2000-2002 when Northerners felt OBJ had shortchanged them and started using the issue of making the 19 northern state compliant, No northern state has actually practised it before then and after it died down. Where in the north did you attend government owned school that enforced islamic studies on you? Whicg government school by the way? State or FG? Don't come here using generic statements to argue with me I care less about such a stooopid antics of argument. I attended a missionary school myself, we had alot of muslim students there too, my class captain was a muslim yoruba named Wahab, I am talking of St Finbarr's college in Akoka. Nobody was forced to observe catholic prayers or even attend the ash wednesday mass inside the school. Neither was any muslim punished for expressing his faith.
The basis of your argument is so faulty, petty and contraductory that it unwittingly strengthened my argument that emphasizing religion in higher institutions of learning has further divided us and create more acrimony amongst us. The method of forceful forcing people to observe some setdown religious creed as done in CU is nothing different from those Bokoharam goons you are demonizing, both methods smirks off ignorance and intolerance, simple. Your argument is weak and contradictory plus you don't need to lie to butress your point. You are just as intolerant and arrogant as

the people you accuse, your types are obviously the reason why I made the statement in the first place .
\

Let others be is what i am saying. These are not Government "owned" Schools. I am sure you went to St Finbarrs after the schools were taken over by the government and are run as government schools with the former name still intact. the same way you feel irked because of your religious view is the same way it happens in muslim climes and in their institutions up north. seems to me that your world view is only restricted to Yorubaland. This was how the missionaries raised the quality students of yore. And before you castigate me for oxford and havard please do your research lest you sound like an ignoramus. Tolerance means respecting other peoples views as well. since you value education that much , this should challenge you to offer alternatives to this if you feel you dont like the way these private institutions are operating; let me hear of Imams or Big business Muslim moguls building institutions themselves rather than giving alms ,feeding poor people during ramadan and only sponsoring their people on holy pilgrimages. deeds that make one really look pious but is not enough to add meaningful value to the quality of lives affected.I wont be surprised that if you had your way, you could actually burn or tear down these institutions the way you are talking. Ala BOKO Haram style. Build your own and lets see how you run it. My own na my own. Our own no belong to anybody and as such it is really no body's business at the end of the day. Thats the secret behind the continued relevance and standards they continually turn out.

EducationRe: NUC Suspends Caritas, Lead City & Tansian Universities' Licenses by drstone1: 2:20pm On Jul 05, 2012
rhymz: I am so surprise that most of these church run schools did not make the list.
Apart from the fact that many of the schools did not meet the NUC's operational requirements, the way these schools are run leave a lot to be concern about. Schools like Convenant and Redeemer Universities should have been on the list, their owners probably have NUC officials as members, little wonder they did not show on the list.
Nigerian private Universities are a joke and a mockery of what a good religious run University should be. Schools where very unqualified people hold the post of VC all because they own the school, they arbitrarily choose pastors and evangelists to head sensitive positions in the school management. People who hitherto have had no prior experience in running a University are allowed to make very humanly demeaning rules fashioned by their intolerant religious sense of right and wrong; little wonder you go to such schools and all you hear is how the management busies themselves with laws that add little or no progress to the academic development of such schools. Imagine after paying truckloads of cash to educate your kid only for one to hear that s/he had been rusticated from school cos he did not attend the assemble with his bible, imagine making christian religious study a major course for a person studying medicine, engineering, law, and other sciences. If you fail this religious course, you are forced to write them or else you will not graduate. In convenant you are not even allowed to wear a jersey, own a camera phone, have independent academic thoughts or even disagree intellectually with the authorities, yet it is a University. Is there any difference between these so-called church run Universities and rehabilitation centres? Are the students there being taught what they came there to know or what the school Church authorities want them to know. Why should a muslim student be forced to observe prayers different from his own or even study christian religious studies as a major even when his program should have no bearing on such study. Are the NUC aware of this arbitrariness in the way these church gangstars operate?? As if the mass indoctrinations in their churches are not enough they have to still drag it to the school? We want investment in our education but not these ones abeg!! Gone are the days when churches make claims of running any business outside the church as a way to help the poor; that argument has become stale and redundant, they are all profit driven with little or no quality education as they like to claim. Having beautiful buildings inside an enclosed landmass space does not transcend to quality education.
NUC should also take that aspect seriously, there is too much arbitrariness in the way these bible wielding conmen run these schools and put a price tag on education.
Not surprised at comments like these. Same thing was used when LAMIDO SANUSI was being defended by some over his actions in the Banking sector. A prominent northern spokesman say that their grouse was that southerners and especially "Christians" dominated the ownership of Banks, and that they were out to reverse the trend. they further went head that, the best they way should do is to Nationalize these Private Banks, built by individual sweat and put in their stooges to Head and buy up this investments. Others added that a Bank that can further Islamic interests is the answer. So they tried to introduce SHARIA COMPLIANT BANKs with government money. this type of sentiments was what necessitated the take over of Schools built by the sweat, blood and labour Missionaries years back. The Result, a steady decline in the quality of Education.

But using your own arguments and grouse against these Establishments as being set up to further christian views. This is the very reason BOKO Haramites are slicing the throats of "christian infidels" in the North. same reason why Northeners are apprehensive of western Education. Its root are actually Christian in Nature. Most of the Schools in Nigeria's Pre independence history were actually missionary built. However the missionaries did not close their doors to those willing to have an education in their domains.
Try and do a search, the first 150 Universities in the Western world were actually Christian theological institutions.. that includes the likes of Harvard, oxford etc. And i can confirm to you that any muslim Man of notable Ranking in this country has had missionaries contribute to their Enlightenement one way or another.

In the Far Northern Part of the Country where i grew up, Islamic religious Knowledge was forced on us when i was in primary school. And by Schools I mean Govt owned Schools. If it happens to be a Sharia compliant school, it is not even a question. You saw it before you opted for it.
Thoughts like yours is what stifles the spirit of free enterprise and liberty. Some of the Best intitutions of these country are owned by the Catholics. And when they do these things they give it all it takes, and that includes their vows, sacrifice, discipline, heart and sometimes their entire lifetime/Life. The Government owned institution are there who do not demand such discipline and sacrifice, why dont you focus your attention there or else get something of your taste that can be as good or better. To build Great institutions is not by empty talk, (Ask most Governments why they are not able to do things right). Instead of lets PULL THEM(ChristianINFIDEL CONMEN) DOWN down Bad-belle syndrome.. without any better alternative of your own to show on Ground, Give Kudos to individuals who are able to lift up he Quality of life of their own constituency and hope to emulate them for your constituency as well!!!! Thats how things get better done!!

sarutobie: "Up up Jesus, down down Jonathan"..is Jesus contesting anything with Jonathan?..maybe the devil has lost his place to jonathan?.hmmm odd times indeed..
Indeed, heart searching times are here my Broda. What this shows is that this ranting about Jonathan is not about trying to make Nigeria better because some one believes in Nigeria's welfare but a vituperation in anger because of a failure in the pursuit of a personal ambition. An indirect expose' is imbedded in the statements to give a chilling hope to Anti Jonathan sentiments that plans are on Ground to decimate the man and his Government by October 2012. Seems to me that the easiest part to Political Relevance is to pour aspersion on Governments in Power. Nothing Bad in having criticism and opposition to Government..But when it degenerates the thin line of sensibility to Bitter hatred for a Man you contested against and lost to....it speaks volumes of you. Especially when you think yourself better qualified and endowed to have that same position and yet you lost to such an one you consider a 'retardeen'. If Gani were speaking today, or a falana, no one may question their motives for speaking...it may be deemed to have been spoken in good faith, but not a team of those who have repeatedly failed to clinch their presidential ambition and resort to crying openly about it in Public. Again, I say, it speaks volumes. I dare say, such an one may not mind some bloodletting to vent his outrage were permissible.

As rich as Abiola was!...He never got there!! As powerful as Abatcha was, He could not transform to a civilian President!!! As endowed as Awo was ...He did not make it to the Presidency.. as Justified as Ojukwu was He never smelled Presidency not even in Biafran Land..As hardened as Gideon Orkar was his coup did not succeed.....PRIDE is a terrible thing
.

It is another thing to use the "HOLY" sanctuary of a church for Political meetings, you are only inviting its desecration. It is funny that all men seem to pursue issues with an innately selfish agenda behind their actions. For example staging a Yaradua must go, because I must Come in. Staging subsidy probe because Money(in Dollars) must enter my pocket(Farook)!!!need i say more.

Tinubu is reaping from his opposition to OBJ, i understand no one in his family has regretted it, a large chunk of Government largese takes care of their welfare.
How come all corruption Probes in the country has only been skewed against the south. Think abt the failedbank tribunals of the 90's or the recent SANUsiTISATION.I am yet to hear that any Northern Governor was ever jailed for corruption inspite of what is known openly to have been going on in the North for Ages. So for more than 50yrs that the North has been in Power in finance, Government, NNPc, Banking, Railways, Aviation, NepA, NITEL. I think not that Even Alhaji Umaru Dikko ever smelled jail!! But just go and look at the litany of people jailed for political and economic reasons in this country and your Eyes will POP open to reality.

MONEY is POWER, MONEY wins Elections as well. And it is not in the hands of a certain group in the country who want to have their filthy hands on the Nations wealth again.... and to couple their woes they have had the Badluck of a seeming "Retardeen" to be an opposition in their quest to attain it. For them a dying Yaradua is better than a Living "Goat-Luck"If Jonathan were not there today,, the same force that says NO to their ambition will still raise someone more formidable to outclass them and stop their greedy quest.

Wanting i have learnt is POWER comes from GOD. He puts down One and Sets up Another. The world is His and he can choose even the Basest of Men to rule over his property. I find it very interesting that in Nigeria, Most of those who have happened to lead this country was not by design on their own part...circumstances played out in their favour. Whether it was Tafawa,Gowon, Obasanjo, Shagari,Abdulsalami, Yaradua, Shonekan and GEJ. On Another part we also have the COUP PLOTTERs and their Legacy, the Likes of Ironsi, Murtala, Buhari, Badamasi, Abatcha.

FSU: NORTH Vs JONATHAN: Ex-Generals, others plot against president • Meet in Abuja on how to unseat him in 2015

By: ADE ALADE, Abuja

Saturday, June 23, 2012

The scope of the plot to unseat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government headed by President Goodluck Jonathan in the next presidential election was on Monday night broadened in Abuja, where top northern leaders held a meeting with former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, (ACN), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The meeting, which had in attendance former heads of state from the North as well as retired military officers, like ex-National Security Adviser (NSA), General Aliyu Gusau and former ministers, is coming on the heels of a similar one between Tinubu and Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) presidential candidate in the last general election, General Mohammadu Buhari, in Lagos and Kaduna.

One of the northern leaders, who attended the Abuja meeting, told Saturday Sun: "The meeting was an informal one held to woo the former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Tinubu and discuss possibilities of extending the frontiers of cooperation and collaboration between the people of the North and the South West people ahead of the next election.

"The meeting was also called to broaden whatever discussion is ongoing between Asiwaju Tinubu and the CPC leader, General Buhari because the North cannot afford to gamble with the 2015 election chance, in the face of what the region is going through under the Jonathan administration. Our people have been ruined and as leaders, we are pained over what the present government is doing to the North.

"The only opportunity we have is a democratic change of the situation and that can be achieved through seeking partnership with a formidable opposition party leader, like Asiwaju Tinubu and the South West people who have a record of embracing progressive change."

He said that the meeting was "held over dinner to underscore the convivial mood at the discussion."

It was further gathered that none of the leaders at the meeting spoke about any personal ambition, but rather, "they all emphasised the need for change, irrespective of which section of the country produces the next president."

A northern leader, who attended the meeting told Saturday Sun: "For most of us at the meeting, we have put behind us our past ambitions of ruling the country, but we are all united and committed to a change of the present arrangement. And to buttress selflessness and sincerity of purpose on this matter, we made it clear that our desire for change is not out of desperation to have the North reclaim the presidency because we are ready to even support a better candidate from any other zone, including the South West."

Though no names of likely candidates to support came up at the meeting, a former minister at the meeting disclosed that a repeat of the 1993 Social Democratic Party (SDP) arrangement is on the minds of most of those at the meeting.

"We didn't discuss this, but it is obvious that the North wouldn't mind to persuade the former Lagos governor to vie for the presidency, while we get someone, like the CBN governor to run as his deputy or vice versa. The Muslim-Muslim ticket wouldn't be an issue once the candidates are sellable to the two sides of the divide. Nigerians are only interested in good governance and not religion. We have had a similar arrangement in the past with the Abiola and Kingibe ticket that swept the polls across the country. So, the same thing is still possible," the former minister disclosed.

The consideration of the CBN governor is hinged on the view that "he will be a good candidate that will appeal to the Buhari crowd and also blend with other interest groups from the North."

It will be recalled that Buhari and Tinubu had, after a political meeting in Kaduna about two weeks ago, flown in the same plane from Kaduna to Kano and drove in the same car from the Aminu Kano International Airport to the emir's palace, where the CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was being installed the Dan Majen Kano.

Another cause for laughter. I dey laff well well for here. I see another frustrating end for these their romance. Have you noticed that any gang up against GEJ ends in frustration and shame by the actors. Think of the long list of victims. The Yaradua Cabal who did not want him to become president; Governor Timipre Sylva who was dragging with him. Abubakar Atiku had to start phoning Tinubu at the last PDP presidential primaries whether there was still ACN presidential form remaining after all the intitial sabre rattling(Calling GEJ a daft Mufu)...The fuel subsidy Occupy Nigeria protesters who were thinking of a revolution to sweep the govt and were dissappointed by NLC, Buhari's CPC, Bakare and Tinubu who were running to oust him in the presidential elections, they ended up crying in public, Hon Faroouk Lawan who is the Arrowhead of the Integrity group supposed to unearth scandals in GEJ's Govt....the Chaser has become the chased..The Boko Haram group trying to make governance difficult for the perceived infidel southerner HAVE suffered the same fate!!
You may think Him Dumb....[s]But if really God and circumstances brought him up as the shoeless man from the creeks to occupy that Position, you may well advise yourselves to consider how you relate to issues of this "Special One"[/s]

One thing should be made clear. Power has left the traditional core North. Secondly, they feel they are smarter than the Yoruba and also note that whatever options they arrive at, they will refuse to come under the Yoruba{thats why Abiola as well as Awo never smelt the Presidency). History has also proved that their vantage position in Nigeria has been with yoruba foolish assistance{Whether by Afonja or OBJ -Abiola against Awo,1979). And right now the Yoruba are smarter and if they decided to right the wrongs of the Past, even Ilorin will finally be freed from Hausa-Fulani domination. Obasanjo has already placed them in the right track.

Yujin: Its true that isn't all muslims that support boko haram or even the jihad that the muslim leaders up north nursed and are still pursuing till tomorrow in this 'One Nigeria', christians would be extremely foolish to accept this offer. Lets expound the offer to see if any benefit abound there.
1. What security roll will they play that churches(christians) have not been playing?
2. What special equipment do they have that can stop abrutly a bomb laden car coming with a high speed intending to ram onto the church fence or building?
3. What counter measure do they have against boko attackers armed with AK47s when they themselves are having only planks?
Truth be told, it would not make any difference i.e if we are to believe whole-heartedly that this is not a plot to infiltrate our security network. The greatest service they can they can do is to convince the leaders and erring people to drop the islamization by force agenda or better still eliminate those die hard jihadists(those who without regard enlisted nigeria into OIC) because if the christians do the latter for them, they will term it an invitation for war. Salution to the progressives.
My friend the poster is only showing you that he empathizes with you christians, which should be commended. However wisdom tells you not to commit the most important things about your life into the trust of a Man. things like your Heart, your Life, your Trust, and your security. Place them in God's care and protect these by your very self with all the diligence it takes.

*The things people say out of ignorance though.*
The hard evidence on ground as seen in pure islamic enclaves like afghanistan proves other wise. You may want to point to other countries like turkey, egypt, oman, syria, iran and the magreb. You must also realise these are people that have embraced aspects of western life and education. Just like yoruba muslems. I have met several outstanding beautiful, intellectual and homely ladies among them, but i can confidently tell you that what has contributed to that is the acceptance of western education and home grown cultural upbringing.

One of the very stark aspects of modern life and education is that you constantly have to cross check and sift through long held beliefs in order to be abreast with Truth and Reality. I believe for man to truly break free finally, the women folk all over the world must be freed from their shackles. It was through them, the 'shaitan' had access to Man, it is also from them the 'Shaitan' will be emasculated and expunged.

stagger: Their training camps on the Nigeria-Niger and Nigeria-Chad border are known. There was intelligence as to their existence provided by the US government as far back as 2004. What GEJ needs to do is to bomb those places for 30 days straight. I bet you they will be driven far away from the borders deep into Niger, Chad and Northern Cameroun. Next, Nigeria should seek permission from these countries to organize pre-emptive air strikes at their bases in these countries.

Finally, face the states where they have a foothold and organize a three-week mop-up operation. All law-abiding citizens should be given a week to evacuate using roads that will be patrolled. Then a total assault from land and the air should be carried out to finish off every living thing in that area, human, animals, goats, chickens, etc. If I were GEJ, I will make sure that to be associated with the Boko Haram in any way, WILL BE HARAM!

It was done in Ogoniland by Colonels Obi Umahi and Okuntimo in 1993. It was done in Odi in Bayelsa.

Amalaaba: Dr Stone,
Non of you who have being abusing Dr Adegbite have quoted him saying anything in support of BH and you have not disputed my claim that he and so many other Muslim leaders have always condemned the activities of BH. I think your expressions (and the rest of you Islamophobes)so far is borne out of blind hatred for Islam.

Since you refer to America's Angelic intention's purpose for for invading other nations let me draw your attention to a book called THE CONFESSIONS OF AN ECONOMIC HITMAN by John Perkins. Please find and read the book to open your eyes/mind (i hope) to the really intention why they have invaded over 50 countries in the last 70 years such as Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Ecuador, Panama; how they killed the Presidents of Panama for asking for control of Panama canal. Do you also know that the US establishes permanent bases everywhere they go, now numbering over 169.

My appeal to you is that you should be careful about what you ask for and try to temper your hatred for Muslim/Islam by allowing the Muslims occupy and kinder part of your consciousness before you become an extremist!
@Amalaabar. Thank yoou for thecomment and advise above. i however wish to let yu know i respect your man Dr latteef even though i disagree with him on several issues. a look at his dossier confirms who he is and what he represents. I dod not blame him for his personal stance and convictions on matters like this, the question however is at whose expensehuh??
One cannot mask his true identity y;know...With his learning & vantage position as the No. 2 Man in the Islamic council, He has not been able to die-logue with "his" people up North for more than 40months. Only lip service condemnation in the newspapers. it is even sad that this is a man who got his education by attending missionary schools and his higher education in Protestant England with free scholarship now turning against the institutions that did not compel him to become a christian and allowed him to freely practise his religious convictions while they were building him academically. What a good repayment!!!
Same of same am sad to say with his counterparts up north. The British despite their overwhelming and superior power acceeded to the request of the Moslem rulers to practice their religion About a 100yrsago. this was what brought about the indirect rule and LORD LUGARD halted the advance of the S.I.M.missionaries for their sakes however the schools they built have been what has given a semblance of light to their Aristocrats.
Recal that the french effectively crushed the Jihadist sheik alhajji Omar
in the Senegambia and the British decimated the Mahdi(Mohamad Ahmad) of Sudan to bring about the submission of the Caliphate when they(Sokoto) were sacked in 1909 thereabouts. The then Sarkin Musulumi(Sultan Attahiru) fled his throne........for an unknown destination.
I some times ask myself that if the muslim world had such weapons and superior military might like the West, what would this world have been like....huhBig question indeed...Even a dounce will tell the answer.

America has impacted positively on all the nations that cooperated with them the world over, whether it be britain, france, germany, western europe, japan, singapore,Israel, Dubai,Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, South Korea, but have been the dread and fear of totalitarian and unprogressive nations Like Afghanista,NorthKorea, Pakistan and Somalia.
The hypocrisy of Dr Lateef always come to the fore when real concrete action is being taken to counter his zealot friends. All his actions are without taste. Indeed, Birds of the same feather flock together, and when they have to be stoned, they must be stoned together! Make no distinctions he is one of them and privy to their Plot. Very funny he loves going to enjoy America.

In a briefing, yesterday, Zakari Mohammed, said the House was constitutionally empowered to invite the President “after all, he had also invited us in the past.”

Zakari said contrary to claims in some quaters that the invitation was unconstitutional, the House acted within its powers.

He said: “The constitution gives the House the power to invite anybody if we are conducting any investigation, adding that the silence on the date the President should appear before the lawmakers was to allow President Jonathan choose a date that would be convenient to him.

Japan is better for it since the Americans got involved after WW2, So is South Korea and West Germany, france and Great Britain, as well as those who coperate with them in the muslim world like Kuwait, Oman, Dubai and Bahrain. But for countries with uncooperative and sizable muslem populations, some thing is wrong. their partnership with america is suspect. Example is Pakistan, IRAQ, Afghanistan.
Pakistan was hosting Evil Biin Laden while helping America on a wild goose chase in afghanistan. Smart americans...it didnt take them time to fool the idiots. They busted Osama while heavily fenced in a fortress by the Afghanistans.
