There is no profession in Nigeria that is as lucrative as it is abroad. Even secondary school teachers earn jumbo pay every month abroad unlike here in this country. Medical practitioners have been uniquely treated by government over the years unlike other categories of emoyees of the government. While the govt will have to give adequate attention to the imperatives of the medical needs of this country, this is not the appropriate time for doctors to be on strike. Contentious issues between the parties can be sorted out and agreement reached. May God help all us in this country
