4play, In reality only 13 percent of the US economy has anything to do with exports/imports. Zimbabwe has actually turned down food aid from America, they refuse to use our genetically mutated grains. Ask yourself this: Why are people starving in Niger and there is not enough food aid for the people in Niger? Why were people starving in Ethiopia and it went unnoticed for a long time? Yet, Zimbabwe a most hated enemy supposedly, is given food aid? There is something going on behind the scenes. Not quite sure what that is but I do not lose a drop of sleep thinking that I will wake up tommorrow and the people of Zimbabwe will be sitting in the middle of fields, starving to death on the land that Mugabe has given them. Sooner or later somebody gonna get hungry and plant the field. |
Food4tot, The British promised to pay the farmers off, if Zimbabwe gave them 10 years to do so. Mugabe agreed to not take the farms by force. The ten years was up. The British claim they did not pay because they were not sure who to pay and how to distribute it. Mugabe took the farms. Not only did the global community impose sanctions. The Whites within Zimbabwe were using the local markets to keep dollars out of the Zimbabwe economy. Also they stay in Zimbabwe waiting for Mugabe to fall but will not lift a finger to help farm the land or train others to do so. In otherwords white Zimbabweans want Black Zimbabweans to starve to death, their using their starvation as a political weapon against Zimbabwe. He just played his trump card. By kicking out the little marketers and forcing them back to the farms. Whites in Zimbabwe have no one to run to and use, they must play by his rules now. |
Hero, I am going to get the book. It sounds really good. I am interested in what happenned to Blacks during the Holocaust. The numbers are coming back that 2 million of them may have died, when you count the wars against Germany in Africa. I want to learn more information about this. |
Chinani, 4th grade. If I remember correctly. So about 9 or 10 years old. That is what my friend realized that day. He had no right. There is more than one book out about the fact that every body wants to be a Blackman (African American)(without actually being a Blackman). Heck, I have read articles from Ethipians in Israel which show these Black Jews in Isreal listening to rap music, feeling hope because if African Americans could make it, so could they. Will Smith talked about on the BET award show, finding Tupac and Jayz's name scribbled on the wall of a shack in Madagascar. Wouldn't it be ironic, when you look around America and every white kid in America is trying to look, sound and act like African Americans? Black people across the world having hope because of us? All people around the world knowing who we are? Black people in Australia and in India naming their civil rights groups: The Black Panthers to show solidarity with African Americans. People of all races, singing our songs, trying to start their own rap tradition for their country. Yet the African child in America will be told, he has nothing to do with this people? That is illogical that an African child will ever accept such a thing. My friend realized that from seeing the child's bad reaction to the idea. |
mamaput, I have a friend from Kenya, out in boston, who knew it was all over, when he tried to force the only Continental African child in his class to talk about his African culture. The child had a fit! Almost coming to tears! He said: I am African American. I am not African! |
Chinani, That's me most days. Smile. |
food4tot, So we should discuss why the tusks of this elephant hurt so bad when they jab us in the side? Or maybe you want to discuss why the elephants tail does not stay still long enough for our children to grab it? Maybe we should discuss how many people the elephant stomped to death today? BUT FOR HEAVENS SAKE_________NEVER BRING UP THE BIG PINK ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM ?Come now. |
Every body knows that Africa is one of the richest continents throughout the world( if not the most ) if talking only about the resources. But when it comes to the living situations of African people, definitely Africans will come on the top of the list of the most poor, uneducated and suffering human beings nowadays. in your opinion guys, what are the resons? and what can be the possible solutions?Fallata, Africa exists for the most part in a state of neo-colonialism. Every part of African society is set up by outsiders. Thus Africa serves outsiders better than it serves itself. The outsiders get the resources, the outsiders get rich off the resources. Until that changes, then nothing in Africa will change. |
Alright already. I am convinced, one more try? Would it still be fufu if I baked it as a bread? ![]() |
Beautiful children. You look like you have a lovely family. |
Desiree, I do not think it is the media. I think it is European Culture. You have to remember, back in the days of Greece, in Sparta, to marry their homosexual husbands (all male children were mated with a grown man warrior to be his sex slave and be trained as a warrior --consult any history book or even watch it on the discovery or history channel, that is where I saw it), wear a cloth that flattened their chest and shave off any hair. Then they put on huge coats. Then they waited in dark room for their new husband. This is because the men were not orientated to womens bodies and so in the dark and with most womanly parts hidden they would have first heterosexual experience. They were forced to marry because of the need for the next generation of warriors. **** Now move forward in history, women forced in chasity belts, women forced to cover themselves from head to toe. Girl children set out to die abandoned. Women have no rights. Husband owns everything. Marriage is still only for children. Specifically sex is only for children. The idea of a husband who was unhappily married to an uptight and frigid woman is quite common. **** You reach the 1960's, women want to be equal to men. What is the first thing that happens? Twiggy bursts forth on the scene. Skinniest non- looking like a woman body there is. All the breasts are gone, all the buttocks are gone. She is a teenage boy. This is how white women will gain entrace into being treated as an equal with men. She will not be a woman anymore. She must dissapear. The message is all over. Dissapear woman, don't be a woman. (let us men be the women---ironically enough) **** Thank God for Rappers. They have brought being and looking like a real woman, with butt and breasts back into style. I kinda of smile, when I see white women trying to show off their behind. It is very encouraging that they are allowing Blackmen to help them fight off their European culture that basically tells them to be anybody, you must die off as a woman and become a man. Some of the most popular songs by whitemen have these words in them: I hate you. I hate everything about you. I did not mean to call you those names last night when I was drunk. Those are of course white rock songs, so you will not hear any complaints about the fact that they are dogging on women. People are too busy claiming that the rapper is the one dogging women. In reality, one has to feel very sorry for the white woman. Although she will not be any kinder racially to Blacks because she wants to imitate whiteman, she will consider it her duty to be as cruel or crueler to Blacks. To prove that she can be just as good as a whiteman. |
It is almost painful to see all those colors at once. ![]() |
eslynera, I think you win that argument. Having money can make anybody look better. Have you noticed that 50 cents has had his face did, all those poc holes removed. BusterRhymes even had his lips cut down and his face smoothed out. Money changes things. |
She is a beautiful girl with lots of potential. She has a perfectly proportioned face. No mistakes there. Of course the make up and the hair color are very distracting. It's probably not a good idea to ever show your arm pits. The color of the clothes and make up and the hair are far too distracting. All together one can not pay attention to her because so many colors are coming at you all at once. Beautiful girl with much potential. |
aloib, I watch people eat it and I just get bad memories. It's the same with pig ears, tried it once as a child and I could not stomach the stuff for years. (Now I just do not eat any pork, period. But that is another story. ) I should get the recipe for fufu and try it again. I just start hyperventilating even thinking about it. I am funny acting about what I eat. |
I do not know if this is Nigerian or not but African Americans around where I live, now are cooking Chicken and Greens with Egusi seeds. My brother in law works at a restaurant and he brings home this stuff about every two or three days. Two different sister in laws make Egusi dishes. Funny how I have eaten Egusi for a long time but have never had an Nigerian make it for me. So I do not know if it is Nigerian but you guys mention it. Maybe Liberians also eat Egusi? |
