---- As Christians, we believe it is the presence of the Holy Spirit in the churchthat is preventing the full manifestation of the antichrist ----
Ibexy,

I have highlighted the words, I would not agree with.

This idea that Christians are here saving the world instead of Christ, is a rather new belief and it generally only exists amongst pentacostals. (prosperity gospel folks)

Only such a babylonian/laodician church would even mock God by claiming that they are spiritually holding the antiChrist back.

When it is so obvious to others, that in fact the antiChrist is mostly who you meet in these churches.

Drusilla,AA were not killed by 'white Christians' due to a call from Christ to kill blacks, that is the difference.
Babyosisi,

Of course they did not get a call from Christ. Yet they did at times claim a call from Christ for killing or wanting to kill African Americans.

Frederick Douglass, a famous Black Orator, former slave, explicitedly set out in his slave autobiography the fact that many historical documents and words support that:

Christian slave owners were the worst slave owners in America.

According to him and many others, christian slave owners were the cruelest.

Beating slaves more than other slave owners, which sometimes resulted in death because they believed the bible told them to "beat their slaves really good".

Slaves actually feared being sold off to a "Christian" owner. Slaves knew those calling themselves Christians were going to be the worst demons from hell.
Christianity EtcRe: Can God Ever Make Mistakes? by Drusilla(f): 10:48pm On Nov 28, 2006
Nope.

To make mistakes, one has to have somebody higher than them to say what is right and wrong.

God can not be advised. He has no equals. He sets the standards of what is right and wrong.
