PoliticsRe: …and Jonathan Gets Embroiled In Land Deal by Idowu Akinlotan by drwebs: 2:06am On Mar 02, 2015
This guys obviously don't have anything to say.

Imagine citing past leaders who sited Universities outside their constituencies at when there were few universities to now.
The aim I believe was to spread them evenly.

Now that almost all states had Federal Universities and the President decide that all states should have one, should his state be exempted because he is from their?

This APC guys seem to be analysing issues like First School Certificate Holders.

They should leave GEJ alone.

the question is how come everything started happening 6 weeks to the election... what has Jonathan bn doing?
playing politics with peoples' lives?
it is really pathetic..
Bokoharam has bn around for quite a while now, the intensity of the insurgency has bn at its peak for about 2 to 3 years now buh President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan only got to know that prompt actions should be taken just few weeks to the election.. n some bastards would still be hailing this dr fellow bastard over ds glaring propanganda.. I can't just imagine.. It is now so hard to differentiate between what is right n what is wrong..
n fact is, it is not Buhari or APC that i like, it is Jonathan n his administration that I hate.
I have always hated him since the subsidy thang
Bro, I now understand where all this is coming from. Pls try and work in love, you can't appreciate anything good in a person if you hate the person. Even if he brings down Heaven on Earth.

GEJ was not the cause of the delay in crushing BH. He faced a lot of challenges and as a democratic dispensation, you don't just go on killing rebels. That's the last option.

He tried negotiation and that failed.
He requested for sophisticated weapons and they were delayed as our supposed friends(USA) refused selling them to us after they refused also to help us attack BH.
He tried getting it tru the backdoor but got exposed by the opposition party(APC leaders).

If things got delayed till now, don't put the blame all on GEJ. He's got the interest of Nigeria at heart, but as you know it, politics is a game, if the opposition see that you stopping BH is going to add more points to your return to power, they will do everything to stop it.

We should blame the people behind the delay, hail GEJ for finally getting through the challenges.
APC leaders seem to have a deal with US from the happening of things.
GEJ law on Gay rights has made them(US) withdraw a lot of aid from Nigeria. Now they are supporting the return of GMB by offering help with Campaign strategies, refushing to aid in attacking BH, refusing sale of weapons, etc.

Bro, pls think on this things, remove heart from your heart and you'll be seeing with HD.

They don't anything, Nigeria is going down with that drunkard if he hangs on to power by crooks. People never learn from Abacha.
Ignorance on loose.
Is GEJ the cause of the falling oil price?

For me, GEJ is just a saviour. And who said he's goodluck has not saved Nigeria.

We should think before talking.

If GEJ did not diversify the country's earning, we would have been crying right now, or say in the next few years.

Imagine when Nigeria depended solely on oil and our oil does not have value again? Imagine no improvement in Agriculture, no Improvement in Mining, we just depend solely on oil as past administrations did.

We should not blame GEJ on this, he has saved us. We might not appreciate it now but later on, we'll get to know that the pyramids which are gradually returning will be our main source of income as a Country if the oil price keeps on falling.

Vote GEJ to continue the rescue/Transformation Agenda.
PoliticsRe: INEC: 1.8 Million Pvcs Not Collected & 430,000 yet to be delivered In Lagos by drwebs: 2:50am On Mar 01, 2015
I still bliv the cloning of PVCs by APC oin Lagos is at work. Don't be shocked that the PVC in your hand is not the INEC PVC, it could be a cloned one. Your original PVC could still be with INEC, thus, the high number of uncollected cards still with INEC.

Don't be shocked when you go to vote that day and the Card Reader will reject ur Card.
So much drama go happen that day.

My advise, make sure you demand to know if your name is in the Electronic Voters Register(EVR) if your card is rejected by the card reader. If its der, demand that you should be allowed to vote.
If its not there, pls don't cause problem, they won't allow you to vote so just leave before they'll arrest you.

I still believe with the card reader, a lot of fake cards/voters can be identified.

Now for those who couldn't get their cards due to unavailability, I plead with INEC to allow TVC.

This man should be resting as his wife said. stop trying to buy foreigners to support you because you are not telling us the truth.

You are saying you want to salvage Nigeria from 16 yrs of misrule.
Question is, who are the people who misrule Nigeria?
Answer is, they are those who have left the current administration into your own party and have endorsed you and still working for you.

Subtract 4 from 16 and you'l notice your close allies are the cause of Nigeria problem.
Thank God the current administration is free of these guys.

GEJ has done nothing but good luck to Nigeria. He has performed better than the past leaders in PDP who are now in your party.

See why it's good to be educated, so you don't open your mouth without reasoning.

Everything seems to be working too fast for my liking in recent times, one of which is the commissioning of a failed power plant in Lagos a few days ago. (electricity supply became worse in my area) just because the election is at the door.
Let us not forget in a hurry that Mr. President, a few years ago told us that he knew the sponsors of BH and that they are in his cabinet. He promised to release their names ever since...I'm still waiting. The last time I checked, Buhari was not a member of his glorious cabinet.

If Nigerians refuse to wake up from their slumber and vote 'wisely', I can only see them crying like israel in captivity....

'The harvest is past, the summer is ended and we are not saved'. (Jer. 8.20)
Stop misinformed readers here, we are not all dull.
GEJ never said those who sponsored Boko Haram were in his Government, He said they have infiltrated his Government, meaning they have lured members of his Government to aid them by either giving out information thereby making it difficult for them to plan out any effect offensive against the terrorist.

Pls don't mislead us.

APC said he's not there for medical checkup, his family said he's there to rest, Fayose said he's there for medical checkup.

what do you think he's doing outside the country at such a time when he's to be putting finishing touches concerning the Elections?

Could it be linked to the fear of Arrest being portrayed in this New?

Where is the evidence of the successful wager? Has Okonjo accepted to debate Soludo even on NTA moderated by Pat Utomi?....Since GEJ does not seem to have the mental acumen for such a debate....
Pls take it easy with the president, don't forget, you'l also be judged by your words.
It doesn't take a day to win a war you were not prepared for. don't forget the Nigerian army suffered set back in that they were not well equipped as the Boko boys. Jona has even confessed to it that they underestimated them, not knowing they had international backing.
That was why the army moral was low.

This should be blamed on the past leaders whom did not equip the Nigerian troops.
Now when the present administration tired to equip our troops, they suffered a lot of set back as they were denied the equipment by US, all this delayed the troops from giving them a good battle.

We should be glad everything is set now to handle these blood sacking demons.

We should all be happy about the progress so far, forget about our political differences and celebrate this victory.

If what he's saying is true, it means Fayose's statement is true because he is aware of GMB movement.

Come to think of it, why is this man scared about Fayose letting us know the whereabout of GMB? Has he forgotten that people still report GEJ movement even as Am president?

I've never seen any Nigerian President who loves Nigeria like Goodluck, he's indeed Goodluck to Nigeria. Nigeria needs to get it right this time around, no manipulation of elections, Jonathan made sure we had a Free and Fair Elections in 2011, he's still committed to doing that, let's all support him. I believe this story, this was expected, because I remembered someone revealed APC plan to use a foreign agency to help them secure Aso Roack come 2015. I also remember saying taking that route by APC is not good for Nigeria because after they help to install our President, they'll want to benefit, they'll want to control Nigeria. We should be careful as a nation, the desperation of APC will do more harm to Nigeria if this is true. Also, about the claims of US trying to run the efforts of the current administration, I think has a connection with this. They were the first Country to condem the Election shift, Refused Helping Nigeria win the war on terror, refused to invest in Nigeria, etc. If we open our eyes and give sell this country because of CHANGE which you know nothing about, your we have ourselves to blame. PoliticsPDP Blast Amaechi Over Nfbn Bribe To Pastors Claim by drwebs(op): 10:03pm On Feb 05, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has descended on the Director General of the Buhari Campaign Organization and Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, over his claim that ‎the PDP offered N6 billion bribe to some pastors to assist President Goodluck Jonathan in the February 14 election.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, accused the governor of lying.

Mr. Metuh, who stated this at a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, also accused the APC of conniving with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to disenfranchise non-indigenes in APC-controlled states, especially Lagos, by refusing to issue them their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs.

Mr. Metuh said it was stunning that the APC was trying to drag religion into politics. He described the claims by Mr. Amaechi as shocking and challenged him to name the pastors that benefitted from the alleged bribe as well as where the money came from.

“We are shocked that APC Campaign could impugn the character of Pastors and I dare say that this is ungodly; it is a sin against God. We challenge the DG of APC Campaign to state the facts; the pastors involved and where such huge sum of money can come from.

‎”This attack is capable of bringing Christians and Muslims into a major disagreement and major dispute. If truly the person who issued this state is a Catholic as he said, we are asking him to go for confession and seek God’s forgiveness”, he said.

The PDP spokesman noted that the statement is a continuation of APC’s “supporter of APC ideology” to truncate democracy in Nigeria.

He pointed out that the APC has been seeking to create the impression that it was popular but now seek to cause mayhem after it become obvious that the PDP is ahead and that Mr. Jonathan will win the election.

On the plot to disenfranchise non-indigenes in APC controlled states, Mr. Metuh said this was because of the fact that 90 per cent non-indigenes in such states were supporters of the PDP. He alleged that in some states, particularly Lagos, the PVCs of non-indigenes were being burnt.

Mr. Metuh also dismissed insinuations that some PDP governors were hobnobbing with the APC noting that all PDP governors are loyal to the party and have been part of the nationwide presidential campaigns.

INEC is playing games with the south, there are many uncollected PVC in the south. What inec did is to delete many people's data from their record, meaning that if you go there, they will tell you that you don't exist.
Isn't that fraudulent?

Seun, obinoscopy, Ngwakwe
. Don't 4get about the new that APC members hacked into INEC data base, I think this is the outcome. They have deleted some of the registered voters in the states controlled by PDP and also cause irregularities in their information, thus, making it difficult and also impossible for them to collect their PVC.

This story and Bible pages you are qouting can only hold ground if Osinbajo was vying to be the president, even at that, he's opponent is still a xtian. Who says Osinbajo is a better xtian than GEJ, who says Osinbajo means well for Naija more than GEJ. For me, I'll not cast my vote for APC just because the VP is a xtian, when we all know that choosing him was a political calculation to woe the South West.

PoliticsAn Appeal To Former President Olusegunobasanjo By Gimba Kakanda by drwebs(op): 2:31pm On Jan 25, 2015
Dear Sir: I don’t know where, and how really, to begin this
without coming out as yet another cultural dissident. For
once, perhaps because of my recognition of your heightened
illusion of patriotism, the temptation to ask an elder to shut up, is no
longer resistible. I want, dear Sir, for the sake of everything sane,
and also for the sake of your old age, to beg you to desist from
ridiculing the intelligence the pawns of this political chessboard we
call a nation. This country may be a haven of chastised criminals,
with too many boisterous opportunists, emergency heroes,
uncomplicated underclass and sycophantic middle-class, but we're not
entirely stupid.

I follow your self-initiated deification these days, and how an amnesic
nation embraces yours as expressions of genuine intention, but
memories of your days in power persist: we have not forgotten the
electoral malpractices that returned you to power in 2003, and,
having failed in your Third Term bid, you prevailed in bringing the
late Umaru Musa Yar’adua to power in 2007; we have not forgotten
the failed promises that characterised your administration, including
giving up a false hope of redeeming our power problem, especially
with that unnecessary gimmick of $16 Billion electricity scheme; we
have not forgotten, also, the Halliburton scandals which really
indicts, the PTDF and Transcorp scams, and all the dubious
economic reforms and privatisations designed to loot the nation. Can
you, my dear sir, explain now how Abacha’s recovered loots were
expended for the development of this nation? And how much,
exactly, was recovered? There was neither transparency nor
evidence that Abacha’s billions were judiciously used. Also, what did
you do in reforming the Ministry of Petroleum Resources and
related agencies, in which the biggest of the nation’s Oil scams
continue to be carried out? Too many questions, and these are just
from a single citizen. Others may have more to ask!
You may devise several ways to atone for your misdeeds and
decisions while in office, but coming out as an achiever and seeking
to present yourself as “Father of Modern Nigeria” or, more
accurately, “The Father of Modern Nigerian Democracy”, which
you had opportunities to become, remains what it is: a delusion of
grandeur. Because, in case you want to pretend that don’t know, let
me spell it out that you’re the architect of the ongoing political chaos
in Nigeria; your selfish decisions paved the way for the emergence
of this man, this political son of yours, this President being derided
as “holder of Port Harcourt Diploma”. Through President
Yar'adua, whom you "anointed" in a hall of courageous Nigerian
politicians and technocrats, you set the country on a Backward
mode. Note that no Nigerian has ever had the opportunities you've
had to change the destiny of this nation!
We know that the Nigerian is an amnesiac person who loves
political dramas for the fun of it, and it’s patherically so now that we
are desperately in need of change, angrily against the symbols of
everything that represents your legacies. We have formed a
dangerous system in which we leave the struggles for the redemption
of the country to the people in government, hence our heroes are
just the people who rebel against an incumbent government they’re
no longer in good terms with, a trend you understand quite well, and
now trying to exploit. While it’s advisable to not dismiss the
revelations of rebels who expose the wrongs of a government they
once served, we refuse to forget their complicity in the creation and
fostering of our difficulties. We know that we’ll soon be consumed by
our “listen to the message, not the messenger” principle, with which
expired devils are made saints for vilifying their successors or on
falling out with their accomplices. The messenger matters, Sir. It’s
morally insulting to join an oppressed people in speaking out against
a trend you didn’t try to stop while you were still relevant!
I look forward to a Nigeria where a reigning devil will be sure that
he’ll never, even if s/he attempts to polarise the people, be welcome
anytime s/he’s no longer relevant in the establishment. We all know
that Nigeria is being looted, every day, every minute, but we’re
wingless canaries, singing a familiar tune, transfixed. But we don’t
need an Obasanjo who contributed to intensifying our misery to tell
us so.
Sir, the Good Books, of which you're a devious reader, preach
about forgiveness, and I think we've shown you that grace and
accepted you into our fold again. But, Sir, do not insult our
intelligence with your newfound patriotism, crying louder than those
you have failed to redeem when you had the opportunity to do so.
Just, do not assault our sensibilities or try our sensitivities. Kindly
concentrate on your PhD studies, dear Sir, for which we wish you
"Goodluck", while preparing your future self-glorifying memoirs, and
leave us alone.
My God save us from u!

Good and enlightened writeup.

Meanwhile

FPT sharperly,

At OP, so it's true stealing is not corruption in America and they want to crucify GEJ because he said the truth. How can the world take us Seriously?

We must all shun backwardness and vote GEJ, because of not just the things listed above, he has demonstrated his love for this country by transforming most almost all sectors of our economy.

Look at the roads, it's no news the dreaded ember months(September, October, November and December) came without much news of road accidents. This was not due to carefulness of the drivers, or the fact that witches were on strike, but due to the fact that the Federal Roads, esp the East West Road was fixed.

Look at Education, he has built Almajirir schools and ensured every State has a Federal University to deal with the increased number of Nigerians who had difficulty gaining admission.

Look at Electricity, he has taken the bull by the horn on privatising the power sector, it's just a matter of time Nigerians will start enjoying constant light.

Look at the rail lines and trains. I don't need to talk much abt this.

look at agriculture.

Look at manufacturing. The first time a Nigerian is manufacturing cars in Nigeria and other manufacturing plants have springer up. We can now get brand new cars at cheaper prices.

The list goes on.

GEJ did all this in the face of constant opposition and deliberate efforts aimed at making him not achieve anything by the opposition, that's why they still went ahead to label his govern as clueless and the worst despite all its achievement. Still trying hard to blind the eyes of Nigerians.

We should be wise and stand above all this, GEJ should be returned to finish his transformation Agenda.
