If you are the typical Nigerian vehicle owner or driver, you pull up at the vulcanizer’s spot and ask for a top up of your tyre or tyres, and just let him do his thing. If you were to ask him what he is ‘guaging’ the tyre, he would tell you 40, and you would nod or just go back to being distracted with whatever is you were doing while waiting. The vulcanizer is the authority. If you ever question him, he would tell you he has been doing this job for X number of years. Many drivers in Nigeria unknowingly drive with overinflated tyres due to vulcanizer practices. Learn why 40 PSI inflation is common, the risks involved, and the correct tyre pressure for your car. Your tyre has two PSI numbers associated with it, and they mean completely different things. Manufacturer recommended pressure is the correct figure for your specific vehicle. You will find it on a sticker inside the driver’s door jamb or in your owner’s manual. For most sedans and small SUVs, this falls between 30 and 35 PSI. That is the number that matters for daily driving. Tyre sidewall maximum pressure is the highest pressure the tyre can physically hold before failure risk goes up. You will see something like “Max Press: 44 PSI” or “Max Press: 51 PSI” moulded into the sidewall. This is not a target. It is a ceiling. Treating it as your inflation guide is like driving at your car’s top speed every day because the speedometer goes that high. Many vulcanizers, whether out of habit or genuine misunderstanding, use the sidewall figure or simply default to 40 PSI across the board. Click here to read the full article on Mobility Nigeria.

The ZTE Blade A35 was announced and released in October 2024 as an entry-level Android smartphone with an 80 Euro price tag. Here in Nigeria, it is currently on sale at Konga with a ₦68,400 price tag. Which makes it kind of a big deal. That discounted price from a regular price of over ₦100,000 is what makes it really sweet. This makes it the most affordable smartphone we have seen in recent times. being a 2024 device, it is not one of the latest smartphones in the market now, but it is not exactly dated. If you are looking for an affordable smartphone, it is something you should consider. Chip maker MediaTek has announced another one (after the Helio G100 announced a few months ago), the Helio G200. However, the Helio G200 is not exactly an entirely new chip; like the Helio G100, it is also essentially an enhanced version of the Helio G99. According to reports, the Helio G200 delivers about 10% performance improvement over the Helio G100. TECNO Spark 40 series is the first smartphone with the new MediaTek Helio G200 chipset. The router does not have a built-in battery. You should get a router UPS. The ZLT UPS50 Mini UPS, reviewed in the link below, seems to be a good one. ZLT UPS50 Mini UPS review: It delivers good battery life at a fair price |
Congrats, @kossyablaze! That's a beauty. I wonder if you can check something. If you look in Developers Options, can you see if the S25 supports the following Bluetooth codecs: 1. aptX HD 2. aptX Adaptive I think there are also apps that you can use to check for this. Thanks in advance. |
Despite what the specs sheet says, Samsung Galaxy A06 does not charge at 25W. It charges much slower. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkTBQb0m0TY |
You should give Pulsar a try.

Breaking: TECNO Phantom V Flip Android 14 update just arrived today. Quite late, but better late than never; right? The update is 7GB large and updates the phone from Android 13 to 14. It also updates HiOS on the phone to version 14.5. Click here to read the details from Mister Mobility.

It is a big problem. Mister Mo pointed out this same issue in his Phantom V Flip long-term review: TECNO promised at least two major software updates for the Phantom V Flip 5G. It arrived with Android 13 in 2023; my unit is still running Android 13 a whole year later when some phones are already being updated to Android 15. No update (yet). Will the promised updates come? Maybe. You can read the full review HERE. |

It has been months of expectations for the 2024 Phantom duo and now that they are finally official, the specs are meh. TECNO has used the same processors from last year's V Flip and V Fold in their successors. "Premium devices o". What were they thinking? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4Tm1zkkKxo |
Section 35 of the Data Protection Act states clearly that it is a criminal offence for a digital loan app to access the details of their customers to recover its money. EasyBuy has breached this act and has acted criminally. Secondly, the Cybercrime Prohibit and Prevention Act of 2015 states that any person, who knowingly or intentionally transmits any communication through a computer system or network to bully, threaten or harass another person is liable to imprisonment of 10 years and a fine of N25 million. EasyBuy has consistently breached this act. In Nigeria, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) is the government agency responsible for maintaining sanity when it comes to protecting consumers. The FCCPC has repeatedly taken action against the abusive activities of loan apps and services in the country. In February this year, after doing some house cleaning of loan apps, the commission published a statement affirming that it was “intensifying enforcement efforts and adopting a zero-tolerance stance towards any exploitation of consumers or abusive conduct, whether in balance calculations, loan default enforcement, or recovery processes.” Indeed, it is understandable that financial service providers need to recover their funds after disbursing loans. This is a valid need. However, with the emergence of loan apps in Nigeria came an abusive approach to loan recovery that can best be described as agbero behaviour. It is definitely also unlawful behaviour. Despite the clear laws and the clampdown by the FCCPC, EasyBuy continues to act with impunity, giving a middle finger to Nigerians and to the government. The first thing that caught my attention when I first held the OPPO Reno12 5G in my hand was how lightweight and handy it is. I am a lover of lightweight and handy smartphones, so it is only natural that I notice such things. OPPO Reno12 5G review - phone in hand Checking the specs sheet, it says this phone weighs just 177g and is only 7.6mm thin. Many phones in this price range weigh much closer to 200g (and above) and are often over 8mm in width. The Reno12’s slim profile and lightweight are impressive considering that it has a 5000mAh battery. The frame and back panel being plastic help with that, of course. But it makes it all the more compressive, considering that it is IP65 dust and splash proof. That’s assuring should you need to use it in a drizzle or should it get splashed with water. The Reno12 has an infrared port (and I am glad, because that is making a big comeback in smartphones). Seeing it up with our home LG TV was a breeze and it works without issues. In his review, Mister Mobility speaks glowingly of the design of the Phantom V Flip 5G, but also points out how disappointing the cover display is. Except from the review: Why exactly do we have a foldable phone that you can’t read your SMS, emails, and other messages on the cover screen? Who at TECNO thought that was a good idea?Enjoy the full review: Phantom V Flip 5G review on Mobility.com.ng.
