I support the soldier. Most of these commercial drivers need serious beating. If I were a soldier I would have dealt with many of them uncountable. They are so reckless that they do whatever they like without blinking.
You can imagine he almost hit the soldier and did not know.
One scratched my car the other day at oshodi. They enter the road at will, stop anywhere at will. They literally do not know the road is shared.
I wish the soldier beat more of them. They need sense beaten into them.
Most traffic gridlock are caused by these miscreants.
Oh! I wish I were a soldier. God knows what I would have been doing.

Early last year, I was speeding from Oju in Benue state to ankpa in Kogi state, When I got to the police check point at Enugu state/Benue state boundary, I saw a soldier discussing with a trailer driver and both of them where in the middle of the road.

So I parked somewhere to wait for them to finish before I could continue, nah im one soldier commot from corner come dey query me.

"Nah this power bike you carry give you mind to come near us b4 stopping?"

"I am sorry sir, I was on top speed and I didn't see the vehicle on time"

"Your brake no good?"

"It is good but marching it with force will make unnecessary sound and cause distractions"

"eehh? You dey on high speed because you're in haste bah? I am going to delay you. Come down"

I obeyed.

"come back by 4pm to carry your bike"

These secondary school students who are meant to be in school studying -didn't deem if fit to "arrange themselves" as they were spotted romancing themselves publicly on Lekki expressway in Lagos. Not minding their school uniforms which would easily give them away, the teenagers relaxed in "enjoying" themselves as they shamelessly carried out the act.

Turning a new leaf...Some students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Anambra State -who were members of various confraternities decided to change their ways as they denounced their cult membership last Friday, at a ceremony organized by the school management.

The UNIZIK Cult Renunciation Ceremony which was organised by the school management at the convocation arena saw about 65 students seek for forgiveness as they confessed their sins... It was the second time that the programme, which is aimed at ridding the school of cultism, was being held.
