Op no be only you don dey dz situation before o, I thank God that I survived an abusive relationship with my ex as well.
I met the lady 2yrs ago and we spent a year together and all thru dz period, whenever we have arguement (which is very often due to the fact that she gets angry at every little thing that she doesn't like) she will start destroying things in the house and even start abusing my parents but I won't say or do anything and unfortunately for me, my silence angers her more and she starts throwing things at me. There was a day we had an argument when she came visiting, she just left my apartment in anger around 2am and I had to run after her begging her to at least wait till morning before leaving (make she no go put me for wahala with the Vigilantes on my street).
I had to pack away from my the house without telling her just to end the relationship...

Lots of guys are also experiencing same thing but some are either too proud to voice out or are ashamed to do so. My advice is either you are a male or female, get out of that abusive relationship before it kills you!

Bro I tell you, Nigerians too dey take things lightly. I know of a big sis who is still yet to recover from a similar incident since 2009. a friend of hers msgd her that he was going to commit suicide because depression was taking its toll on him, this big sister thought it was a joke and switched off her phone and it was the 2nd day she heard from ppl on the street that the guy committed suicide the night earlier. Till today this aunty never recover and that's why I don't take such things with kids glove
