Last year, it was reported that the first twin brother passed away now Report also has it that the other brother of the twin popularly known as "IIBEJI ORAN" has also passed away.

According to the source, Taiwo died a few days ago and he has been buried in his house at owode along ilesa, Osun State.

His twin brother, Kehinde died exactly one year ago, in October 2014. Both twins who featured in a popular Yoruba film 'Ide' were in their early 40's. He is survived by a daughter born to him by his ex-wife, Folake. May their souls rest in peace, amen.

Earlier last week, we reported that robbers robbed some banks at FESTAC now from my source again, it has been disclosed again that robbers strike in Lagos Traffic killing atleast two persons.. more details below..

A group of suspected armed robbers, Thursday, attacked motorists in traffic congestion at the Costain area of Lagos state, leaving about two persons dead.

The bandits were said to be robbing motorists at the Eko Bridge, which links the Costain area, City Today reports.

When the hoodlums, who were robbing from one vehicle to another, got to a car and ordered the occupants to wind down their windows, the occupants refused to comply and this angered the robbers who shot the two occupants dead.

An onlooker, who simply identified himself as Onwuyali, said: “We were in a serious gridlock at the Costain area when armed robbers, who cashed in on the traffic situation started robbing motorists.

“Our bus was robbed, after which the robbers went to a car in front of ours. I saw one of the armed robbers, arguing with the occupants of the vehicle. I later heard about five gunshots.

“One of the robbers was searching the car while others were firing into the air.

“The shooting caused serious rout, as motorists abandoned their vehicles and scampered for safety. Some courageous ones, who tried to zoom off, hit other vehicles. It was when people were going to work, so the commotion was too much,” the eyewitness added.



Another witness, Joel Omojola, said when they heard gun shots, he and his family immediately abandoned their vehicle and ran for safety.

“When we heard the gunshots, my family and I thought that they were bank robbers that raided FESTAC Town two weeks ago, so we abandoned our vehicle and took to our heels,” Omojola said.

Meanwhile, all efforts to get in touch with the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, were abortive.

Subsequently, a bus driver who didn’t want his name mentioned, said, “Don’t bother to reach those thieves. When they can hear gun shots, do you think they will come any closer? All they know is to collect money from innocent people, seat belt palava,” he noted.

It was reported that Commercial activities in Owo local government area of Ondo State was on Tuesday disrupted for four hours following a clash between members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the area over attempt by a faction to hijack the leadership of the union.

The clash, which saw NURTW members in the area shooting sporadically and attacking themselves with cutlasses, let to no fewer than 10 persons injured but we thank no lives was lost.

Residents and traders around First Molac hotel area and Ehinogbe street where the NURTW members clashed, hurried indoors and immediately closed for the day.

It was also gathered that the attempt to forcefully take over the NURTW leadership was allegedly sponsored by some politicians who are preparing for the next year governorship election.

The said politicians were said to have directed their political thugs to chase away the current executive leadership of NURTW in the council as led by Mr. Kolade Jasper from the town.

Trouble started when a middle-aged man, simply identified with his nickname “Jungunnu” declared himself as the new chairman of the union.

Eyewitnesses say the self-acclaimed Chairman was said to have been moving around the whole town with some Okada riders, thereby declaring himself to the residents as the new council Chairman of the NURTW.

It was gathered that Jungunnu allegedly led his boys to First Molac hotel area where the Akure Car park is located and attacked the union leaders.

The fight was said to have spread to Ehinogbe area where it took the intervention of mobile Policemen before normalcy was returned to the ancient town.

When contacted, the current NURTW chairman of the council, Mr. Kolade Jasper said he has not received any letter from the national leaders that the local chapters of NURTW should be dissolved.

Jasper noted that the leader of group, who wanted to forcefully take over from him was not a member of NURTW.

He however, appealed to the governor, Olusegun Mimiko to rescue them from those he referred to as miscreants who are not members of the union but are now being pushed to disturb the peace of the town.

Reacting to the development,the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, Mr Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident but said the police was on top of the situation stressing that an order from the state government gave credence to non dissolution of local chapters of NURTW in the state.

Joseph however appealed to the warring factions to maintain peace.

Sahara Reporters Reports that some alleged Boko Haram insurgent sect members were caught by members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), in Borno State and decided to take the laws into their hands and torture the two men in a bid to get them to confess their involvement with the deadly terrorists.

In the graphic video posted by Sahara, the CJTF members are seen meting out untold punishment to the men even as they kept denying being members of the sect.
Speaking in Hausa language, the alleged Boko Haram members pleaded their innocence but the task force members took their denials with a pinch of the salt and kept on torturing them.

Jeffrey Ortega who is currently 26 years old wants his size 16 foot amputated after it was reported to have been caused by a genetic condition which gives him more pains to the body and he is also unable to walk.

Jeffery, who sit on a wheelchair inorder to move around, was born with a disease known to be Proteus Syndrome, an unusual disease that makes the bones, skin and tissue overgrowth. The condition has also affected his hands, hips and legs.

Jeffrey is now pleading to doctors to amputate his left foot to reduce his pain and stop the growth. His left foot is 17inches in circumference & 14inches long while his right foot is 14.5 inches in circumference and 12 inches long.

The Football Association has dismissed Jose Mourinho’s claims that his English was a factor in the criticism of officials that earned him a £50,000 ($77,000, 68,000 euros) fine and a suspended one-match stadium ban.

Mourinho was sanctioned by the FA last week for saying referee Robert Madley had been “afraid” to award a penalty in Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Southampton on October 3.

The Chelsea manager described the fine as a “disgrace” and the prospect of a stadium ban as “absolutely astonishing”.

But the FA on Monday published the independent regulatory commission’s written reasons for the punishments, which Mourinho last week said he would appeal against.

Mourinho did not attend a hearing, instead representing himself in writing. He admitted the charge, but denied questioning the integrity of Madley.

he three-man panel rejected that assertion and also threw out Mourinho’s comments on English not being his first language.

“His English is far too sophisticated for that to affect our conclusion, as the interviews themselves demonstrate,” the written reasons said.

Mourinho bemoaned the perceived inconsistency between his calling Madley “afraid” and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s criticism of referee Mike Dean as “weak” and “naive”, which went unpunished, but that claim was also rejected by the FA.

“Mr Mourinho’s comments in this case were so clearly on the wrong side of the line that there is no need to go into this issue at all. It is no mitigation for Mr Mourinho,” the three-man panel said.

“It appears to us that increasing levels of fine are not on their own going to be a reliable deterrent for Mr Mourinho against improper comments to the media.

“We have in mind particularly that the more than doubling of the January 2015 fine as compared with the May 2014 fine has not deterred him from this latest and more serious breach.

“In our judgement the fair way to impose this deterrent is to suspend the ban so that Mr Mourinho is able quite easily to avoid its ever coming into effect. The matter is in his hands. All he has to do is refrain from any further breach by media comments for the next 12 months, whereupon the ban will expire completely.”
