Boko haram/isis and those who murdered Deborah have already proven that they are not the same

Important distinction: "Allah" is not a name like "Zeus." It's the Arabic word for "the God", used by Arabic-speaking Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike.
Yet, they have different principles eg allah says it is ok to murder people who did nothing to you whereas God, Says "strive with no one without cause"

Explain John 14:28 below:

King James Bible
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
As he not already said that Jesus is The Son of God? So no issue here.

But what you refuse to accept is that other scriptures also show that Jesus is God eg. He is called The Lord. And Genesis to Malachi show us Who The Lord is.

Guys, the old testament was quoted out of context. Please let's create a new thread for "biblical promises" if we can't relate it to the topic.
It has not been sidetracked but has been over settled already. Everyone knows the Truth is that Christianity is the true religion even if they like it. And so, everyone has moved on to things of their interest

Yes, there are many other reasons why Christ died and one of them is the word "Snare".
Christianity Etc › Re: Other Reason Christ Died Outside The One You Know. by Dtruthspeaker: 9:18pm On Apr 06
Adakintroy:
If you ask many people what's the reason Christ died they will mention "because God send him to the world to do so" for the purpose of setting mankind free from sin. This complex abstract metaphysocal take is divisive and may not be reached altogether through reason. In other words. It a invasive and can't rationally be explained beyond a point.

Let's try a more ordinary one that me and you can relate to. A more human take butfrom the perspective of the Jews almost

The children of isreal had forever pride themselves as the chosen generation. A people of God that have no business being underthe rule of any nation. A nation set aside for Gods devine urpose. For them when their massiah come he will free them from captivity of any natuon and set them above the nation's of the earth being of Abraham descent., they were " the chosen ones". Note. A promise messiah have no description. No one knows the form he may take. But the general take was that he will be one with Great power and will fulfill the prophesy of setting them above the nation of the eath. The first messiah was then Moses. His Ministry had earlier free his people from their captivity in Egypt. he did so with "A strong right hand"
. Another language for authority and dominace. In other words he went into the domain of his oppressor and free his people with authority not with a plea. Moses became the go to standard of how the form the messiah would take..
You need to study isrealites. You would see that since God through Moses tried to save them, they never want to be saved. And they always wanted to be under nations eg Egypt, Canaan etc.

The more God tried to have them the more they fought to be rid of Him

I am not denying or confirming anything. Just surprised that you don't know that you don't know.
I do know that records suggest that yhwh is also claimed to be a Canaanite god. And The Holy cannot share the same name with a Canaanite god. And no one has been able to satisfactorily clear that discrepancy.

Gabrielshow26:
He didn't instigate anything. He only permitted Satan to tempt David. He also punished Israel because they "collectively" allowed the "pride of David", in the form of census to proceed.

The reason God told them not to perform a census in the beginning was for them not to be self-reliant but to accept that their protection was from God!

This theme can be seen from the old testament😊. Gideon's story also comes to mind among others. When David performed the census, it was interpreted as self-reliance, invariably pride! And God punished Israel!

So while the Lord permits things to happen he also punishes the actors for their actions. For David, pride and for the rest of Israel, "collective dormancy and complicity in the face of a law breach"!

If God were to perform judgement on Nigeria today, a lot of people will 'go on😂' because a lot are complicit!
You are a little wrong here. Verse 1 already shows that God planned on punishing them.

And there is nothing wrong in God instigating David or in allowing satan to set up David to set up Isreal to receive the punishment.

They are all covered by the Right of a punisher to punish a person/people in the way and manner He deems fit. Exactly like saying "na you won tell me how i go punish am?"

So, there is nothing to be ashamed in admitting that yes, God used David to punish Isreal exactly how He used Philistines, Persia and Romans to annihilate them in accordance to His Word

Oh my God...
Please put me through,

So God came to atone to himself so that he can forgive us?
So God came or us to kill him as a sacrifice to him.
Does this makes sense at all....
When did God say he loved human sacrifice and planned this absurdity you posted.
Did you not read that God has a Father Who, Commanded Him to create heaven and earth and gave it to Him?

And is it not God's Rights to choose to sacrifice one His Life for us after all He is eternal life?

You don't need to agree. The facts are indisputable.
Not according to the facts. Records also claim yhwh belongs to canaan also. And God does not do tainted and corrupted things so, it cannot be right that He would share this same name with a Canaanite god. It is just not possible. Something is wrong here

Of course I know. I have never seen where somebody, a human has to be killed before that can happen. It is usually a kosher animal less than 1 year old without blemish, which must be performed in a particular place in the temple and by a priest(somebody actually ordained for that kind of stuff) . I have never seen where a human is murdered to atone for sin. How will the person atone for the sin of "Thou shall not kill"? That he has broken.
I have seen where innocent people get executed, it happens due to human error. Ken saro wiwa for example....if a Ghanaian come to meet you to tell you Ken saro wiwa died for your sins.....which kind eye you go take look am? It does not even make any sense and you know it....but because you have invested your whole life on it..you still keep clutching on it. Cut your losses and move on. I did the same...
Can you count how many times i have had this argument with you? My last count was 8 times and in all those times you went berserk when I answered you and you saw you had nothing reasonable to say again. So, i leave you with your issues especially as you yourself see that God demanded unblemished living things both birds and animals. And there is no unblemished human being so, no human qualifies. However, seeing how there was no priest worthy to carry out the sacrifices of Atonement, God offered Himself as an unblemished being Who became human as a sacrifice. Which God Accepted.

So, first no human is unblemished and Jesus is not a human being.

And secondly, it is God Who chooses what He shall accept and not you.

And Jesus was/is unblemished so go craz here

Yahweh is the God of the Israelites. This is an undisputed fact. The same God some Christians gather to scream to every Sunday. No need turning history on it's head or redefining what is already known. The Lord being referenced in this passage is Yahweh.
I have heard it said but I do not really agree. God can not share the same name with a Canaanite god. It is just not possible. So something is wrong here.

I think your grievance is misplaced. Read 1 Chroniclrs 21 fr better understanding to know that David himself admitted guilt and was remorseful and that eve Joab knew at the time that what David was doing was wrong.

I am not in any denial. People bear responsibility for their actions even when they want to attribute the blame to God or Satan. Even I our modern legal system, David has the mens rea for the sin or offense.
1 chronicles 21 is not different from is not different from the one in view except that this is the one which tells us why David took the census.

And David only admitted guilt because it was him through whom God used to punish the people.

So, his remorse comes when his eyes cleared and if he was truly guilty as you say, then he too and his household would have been struck but he was not.

And I'm happy you know mens rea so if you charged David do you not see that he would plead force majeure and therefore a just court would a quit him?

There is a controversial claim that Yahweh is not the GOD of the new testament whose only defining quality is unconditional love.

Nonetheless, we must acknowledge that the entity being described in this context is Yahweh, and It can deal with it's "chosen" people anyway it seems fit. Commandments were given, they were not followed to the letter, and the consequences became evident.
Yahweh is said to be the gods of Canaan. And we see God was against Canaan and their gods. So this doesn't work because God cannot fight Himself.

Thus, God of the old testament is still The Same One in the new testament which is it is Written "He Who was and Who is...'

Still the same God!

So, there are 2 different mighty God(s)? Or that God changed?
Please stop taking rubbish just because you are not able to explain a situation you do not immediately understand.

Yes, you are right that God is the All Ruling King so He does what He pleases. However, we have all seen that He always has a good reason for acting and verse 1 said so.

1. What was that motive of David
2. If he had a motive then why is it said that God instigated him
3. If David committed the sin, why kill 70, 000 innocents who knew nothing about it?
Clearly, he is talking rubbish.
The Bible already shows that God was angry with Isreal and therefore He Drew His Bow.

David was just one of the arrows
Christianity Etc › Re: Yahweh Kills 70, 000 Because Of A Census, Why? by Dtruthspeaker: 10:05am On Apr 06
Babinski:
The Bible was written by men under divine inspiration. It does not rule out the fact that men are limited by their vocabulary and also try at times to reason out things that invariably appear in their accounts. In 1 Chronicles 21 account of the same event, verse 1 stated that Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.

However 2 Samuel 24 stated that it was God that incited David because of the belief that nothing happened without the permission of God. But in the end we find out that David had a motive for the census and even Joab was against it because he knew it was not right. So just like when Eve was tricked by the serpent but had motive for eating the apple, the sin accrued to the sinner.

It is common to blame Satan for every sinful idea, just as Chronicles blamed Satan, but the sinner typically has his own independent reasons for committing the sin and that is why he has no excuse on judgment. It is a plus to David that when he saw the results of his action, he owned up and admitted he sinned rather than blame Satan, much less God for any incitement.

If David, who was in the thick of it admitted he sinned and did nit blame God, why are you trying to do so centuries later on reading the account?
Which motive? Please stop lying against David.

Verse 1 shows us God had an ax to grind against Isreal and He used David to accomplish it. Same thing He did to Egypt and Pharoah.

I know that you are in denial and struggling against the fact that God can use a person in any way and manner. Go through it without having to lie against David

That is exactly what a loving God would do. No ordering a human/animal sacrifice.
A contrite heart you will not spurn says the psalmist, "come, let us reason together,God says, though your heart be as black as coal, I can make them as white as snow.........No animal/human Sacrifice needed........,
You are not the one to dictate to God what He should accept as His atonement.

And The Laws of Atonement lists out what God wanted which Jesus fulfilled, so you cannot dictates to God
