My question is must you serve second term? I thinki will go with Lagos state in this. Must you serve the second term? It has to be by performance. If you don't perform very well and impress people , you must be kicked out. This method should be extended to all political parties. I see first term as an avenue for many politicians to start a project, then abandon it towards the end of the first term and hold people/electorates to ransom to vote for you and you will complete it but as soon they resume for second term, they abandon everything totally and go on looting spray, then when about to go, install their puppets to cover up while they go for higher position especially senate or federal house to go and be sleeping and turn the place as their retirement home. Ogun , Kwara, Abia are case studies. That's how this country is being governed. And the circle continues. Must it be like that? Let your work speak for you. Ambode started very well in his first 2 years, but the thing entered his head and he never listen to anyone, when they taught he was deviating. He never give room for critical deliberation and thinking among his party stakeholders. And they waited for him at the right time. What happened if he continues the work fashola started ? He just scattered everything and turn Lagos to mess. Many that are not staying in Lagos will be speaking trash. Just look how fashola touched every community and streets with good roads. But now, what do you see there?
Let's leave sentiment for once and face good governance. If you don't perform, or you deviate from party manifesto and continuity, you must be kicked out after your first term. Let's the woman stop wailing.

I am not a card carrying member of APC but I believe that Ambode failed Lagos in several ways. Sanitation is a big issue for Lagos residents, he messed up.a system that was working fairly well and brought in a system that has clearly failed. He demotivated Lasma officers and turned them to another "yellow fever", while bike drivers are getting away with floating of Lagos traffic laws. He increased levies on properties, yet he incapacitated the local government authorities in such a way that they can hardly make any impact in their communities. He rubbished the the person and good work of Fashola, although Fashola worked tirelessly for him to emerge as the governor of the state. He is an extremely petty human being. This is obvious from his neglect of project that were ongoing before he came on board.

All these are not based on principle. If Tinubu changes his mind on Ambode right now. You will still change tune.

Ambode is trying to fight back. This Ambode guy isn't strategic. He's not intelligent politically. If he was he would have known that moving to another party cannot work. He will be impeached. All these guys are just looking for a last pay day. I will continue to say it; the issues are simple:

1. What's the budget of Lagos combined from 2015 to date. When you do the maths ,can you truly say all you see over Lagos justifies the over trillion naira budget of the last three years.

2. How much did the ojodu Berger road construction cost. What's the cost of each of the bustops. Why is it that ambode never releases the cost of almost all the public projects in Lagos . I am not talking about PPP but projects fully paid for by Lagos money

3. Can we investigate how many directors and permanent secretaries have been sacked by ambode simply because they were perceived to be fasholas people

4. Can Ambode supporters mention his achievements in education, health care and housing

5. What's the business case for Changing a lawma model that was functional. Why change a winning formula.

Just yesterday, my car entered one deep pothole close to grammar school bustop and damaged my bumper.That pothole has been getting wider for months and nothing has been done. The moment you agree that fashola was better than tinubu then you will know ambode is worse than fashola.

What's so hard for ambode to say this Berger road project costs so so billions. What is he hiding. I don't care much about the politics but as someone who has lived in Lagos for over 30 years, and with the resources at Ambodes disposal, I have to say he has failed. If you know what fashola did in areas like ikorodu and what fashola did in education, environment,health care and housing,then you will know ambode is a scan. I can never forget the day fashola showed up unannounced to general Hospital ikorodu, that visit changed things then. If you know you know, but with the resources in Ambodes disposal, he should have been five times better than fashola instead he is five times worse.

One iconic thing ambode did that I will forever remember him for is the establishment of the LRU.They are super effective.
