Watched the first 4 episodes the other day and I gotta say... Daayuum!!

The camera movement, the art, the dark humour... in fact, the randomness of everything is amazing. It's one of those shows where a bunch of seemingly unrelated things come together in an amazing way.

One show that has me in stitches one moment and completely baffled the next. Love it.

@ Bolded... American gods Tv series boring die ... I was browsing and listening in, still nothing fascinating.

The producers have a way of getting you engaged from the first 5 mins (Excluding Episode 4) and then, the show goes off depending on who they want to piss off (Gays, Africans, Muslims). Then finally stiring up ur curiousity during the last 5 mins. Probably so u would tune in next time. (Episodes 1,2,3, & 5)

yea you're right Bout d last part...its just like Hannibal,even read that one of d producers of Hannibal is on this show,that's y it has dat eerie boring kinda feeling..but I enjoy it sha..I'm tires of fast paced series

I honestly don't expect to watch a mindblowing show per se,its just that the concept of what we humans of this age dedicate most of our time too is interesting..
heck I even spend at least 4 hours a day on nairaland...that's d aspect of media..

By the time i was watching GOT series, my elder sister travelled to the UK and bought Books 2 and 3 (I was still in Book 1 which was season 1)

its just a story about how d old gods have gone into oblivion,and Odin is trying to stay relevant..

its just a great concept..let me let you in on a little secret,after each episode,I read different reviews online and watch some YouTube videos for better understanding

its actually good..that offred is a really good actress,I especially loved a scene where she was locked in a room by her mistress,there was this look she had on her face while sitting down that showed different emotions at once,like anger,depression,self pity..
even when d doctor offered to sleep with her,when she was in d car crying,that's really powerful acting..
d series is quite good...you know her mistress is that chick from chuck..

It turns my stomach seeing the whole way women are treated in that manner. A new born child taken away from his mother, named by another woman. One who is being fuçked in the presence of two people that looks like a ritual. The whole thing irritates me. I think there is an increasing effort to shove how much fragile and susceptible women are in this world. hope you do know it was based on a book written by a woman,and I think some days back someone asked for the review,I warned that feminists won't like the series at all,but when I watch a show,I don't let my personal feelings get in the way,as long as d story being potrayed is brilliant and has good actors delivering it..
