OP sorry o, but don't compare yourself with your friends who are into yahoo , you are young and you're studying a good course. The only advice i can give you is that you should look for a job to do during this period of ASUU strike, you can look for a teaching job, a lesson teacher, sales boy, pump attendant e.t.c
I would say learn a skill o, but to do that you need lots of money.
You can start by telling people around your neighborhood, church that you're looking for a job. At least a job can help you pay back your loans and you can save up for when school resumes.

A battery-inverter system can be installed in the OR to back up the equipments
Even solar system can be installed in the case of power failure.

Well, during my jss 2 the girl who i considered as my best friend, did not return the energy, one day when we were coming back from school, she told me that her best friend is one girl in her church, damn forget i was little then but that word hurt me . i just said i was not going be in in any "best friend relationship"

I also had this "bestie" in my pre degree days, who ended up doing the worst babe connive with her siblings and stole my phone, i got to find out four months later, i got hurt too...

Last year, a rift happened between one of my friends and i , and i got hurt too

So i don't believe in "best friends"
Infact i dont want any. Let just be friends and stay that way.

I did not learn anything from my seniors , but i did learn how to fold my clothes properly and make my bed before going out, i still do it. And the funny thing i still do is to make sure there's water in my house in case of scarcity. The boarding school i attended then always had an issue with water, so this made me hoard water in case of scarcity, and this character followed me to the university. I always make sure there's water in my house in case of water scarcity. Infact everybody knew me in school then , i rarely run out of water . if i dont have water, just know sey "e don pass be careful" .
I also learned how to clear grass , scrub and mob properly ( i missed a lot of breakfast in school because of this )
Thinking about it, i did learn a lot of things in boarding school, especially personal hygiene as a young girl then.
