Do you agree?

If not which player should be out for who

And which Nigerian player should be in
Anybody who hasn't wom the AFCON shouldn't be there.
Except if its a list based on club performances alone

Our defense and shot stopper was solid today.

Unfortunately that wasn't enough to win us the game. Cos our attack went napping

Had enough chances to win it...Felix and Nkunku had to do better.

Selz and Sanchez were doing aura for aura. Seriously Sanchez has been huge for us this season.

Enzo's brain was substituted at some point in the second half and it was a disaster class from there before his body left.

Then i could have made the same argument, Jackson has 7 G/A this season in 6 games.
Yea you could have and that would definitely have been of huge irrelevance cos we're talking about the match from yesterday
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by DumaEmpire(m): 4:28pm On Sep 29, 2024
For the record i don't have a personal beef with Jackson. I think he's just there like a normal decent striker. Not a prolific one.

I see stats raking up nd down that he's the first player to do this and that, makes me remember when Tammy Abraham was dropping numbers up and down.

I think we're very lucky that we don't have to rely sole on Jackson for goals. The other players are there stepping up cos if we had to do that then we definitely won't be competent enough to worry City or Assnal anytime soon

did he miss 4 1v1,? let me first know if you understand what 1v1 is
You're stalling and romancing words.

Somebody beat his chest to say Jackson missed 4 1v1s... you clearly no agree.

And that's why i asked in your own personal view of the game did he miss or not. If he did then how many. It's a very direct question

1v1 must have another meaning.

For Jackson to have 4 yesterday
How many did he miss? Or he didn't miss any in your view?

This picture doesn't do it justice. I'm one of Jackson's critics, but this one isn't accurate. He did everything right, the defender literally cleared the ball away from the net. It's not like Jackson missed it entirely.

There's also improvement from last season. You can see it in how he messed up the first goal but quickly fixed it by passing to Palmer.

Palmer could have easily scored 7 goals yesterday

This is irrelevant we are talking about chance missed
Airmark clearly stated he was glad Palmer wasn't as wasteful as Jackson.

You said Palmer wasted more chances. I made it clear to you that the difference is yea, he might have missed but still scored 4 goals which is the difference cos when Jackson misses then it's over for the day.

You begin turn eba.

You can even see it with nkunku

Palmer wasted more clean chances than Jackson yesterday
But he scored 4 extra goals to make up for the 2 he missed.

That's what sets him apart. If we had to rely on Jackson, after those misses we're definitely losing or drawing the game.

That's the difference. Its not like Jackson somehow makes up for his misses. Once he don miss he don miss and can do that over and over again.

Dude already fumbled that chance for the first goal. We were lucky Palmer was there at that time to get that pass if not na another straight miss.

The thing about Jackson is when he's on an off day, then its all over. He can miss 20 chances and not score 1. He's not the type to miss and make up for it. Na till next match then if he's on his "on day" he goes on to score and that calling out those who don't see him as elite levels which he isn't right now

It still boils to the coach. With Costa, Hazard, Pedro we didn't get past the RO16 in the UCL with all their experience. But Tuchel won the UCL with likes of Mount nd Havertz.

If i also recall these guys also finished 10th the season before Conte came in and twerked his system in and we won the EPL. Poch experimenting on what he knows little about. Clearly not being decisive enough on his team selection nd performance. The only reason Enzo is stepping up to pick the pk is clearly cos there was no planning on who plays it. Enzo was missing empty net in preseason there's no way he wouldn't have missed that. No technique.
As a coach you got to have a plan ahead before time not useless experiments. We look very mid cos of his selections
To be honest we really suffered under this guy. After 2 matches in the season i knew he was going to be crap. I didn't even bother coming here to argue with anybody after this rant.

Maresca God bless you abeg. Poch gave most of us headaches after each matchday.

Like i said earlier you don't need to first watch 20 games to know if your team has what it takes or not. Just a couple of games is enough to know the direction

We are still playing chaos ball just like under Poch which is bringing in results. What we saw in pre season with what we are playing now is totally different. We have Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle and Aston villa in our next six league matches. Enzo is about to face a baptism of fire. All these talk of topping table and being contenders after 6 games are so premature and hilarious.
Chelsea has never been a slow starter in the season.

If there's quality and competence it would be seen from the start of the season. If it's going to be a crap season it will also hlbe obvious from the start as well.
No be today we begin face Liverpool, Arsenal and co. We have a confident start to the season so there's no reason not to be optimistic.

Top scorers in the league. Who would have thought.
Goals coming left, right and centre.

Got to give Maresca his flowers for setting this team up cos there was a time Jorginho legit use to be our top goal scorer. Dark times. Now we're dark horses

Where does all this money sink kwanu, always looking like we need 4-5 more to even compete for top 4, this thing done turn witchcraft
Most of the funds was sent to Santos for the next Neymar gamble while the rest was given to Brighton. Then some miscellaneous to the french national team for their black players

Hence why we look mid.
