BlueMann:Yea with his body language i could tell it might not be as serious. Altho he probably won't be in our weekend squad. Might be fit next weekend |
kingBolton:Chelsea's best player this season so far has been Reece James. And he's been consistent at it. Mount who's been hiding for months is now suddenly player of the season cos he had 2 good games out of over 15 matches played. |
DumaEmpire:Tomori had to learn the hard way |
Ibime:This is too much ![]() |
hensben:With the way the first half ended. Definitely i expected more proximity attacks in the second half Not spending minutes watching some boring nd meaningless passes for almost the entire half |
Segedinho:Milan were on their knees already in the first half. No single strength left. We should be capitalizing on that and getting some more goals in the second half to boast our confidence. Instead we turned it into a pass section. Attacked less. Just throwing useless passes up nd down. |
This second half was a huge disappointment and boring half to watch. Atleast we don almost qualify sha |
donstan18: KingAzubuike:Gbam emmyluizzz:them say na Kazuki Ito but all join. This ref is super harsh... After all the motivational speech Tomori made just some hours before the match... This kind tins dey cause depression for players |
This Ref reminds of Playstation 2 (Ps2) days. There's always a particular asian ref who always cards like this Ref while playing pes ![]() |
Unlimited22:He staked on the game Red card to Tomori. He was disguising himself to be for team Milan |
forgiveness:That was his prime years. Kante right now is at the twilight of his career. Hence why he's insisting on a 4 year deal just for the basics of having some good form of leverage(like a retirement plan, Pension) Hence why the club aren't dancing to his tone |
forgiveness:Hahaha. You got nothing to say man. Man came hitting up on me like he got alot to say and lecture on football politics. Turns out he's got nothing ![]()
|
forgiveness:i still wonder if maybe what i type is too difficult to understand or do you read it with a translator cos what's all this Shalaye about. You said there are exceptions but can't show me anywhere in Chelsea's history where a player on his 30s was given a contract of 4 years and above. ![]() Exceptions indeed Since you can't tell me which over 30s player over the years has been given a 4 and above years contract at Chelsea. I have another assignment for you. A simpler one Just show me where i ever said it was Chelsea's policy in the pre Abramovich era or not This simple sentence is why you're busy hopping up nd down since morning.

Havertz10:True. But this season Haaland has had a better season so far. But talent wise. Haaland isn't better than Mbappe in anyway |
Trevor012:A very very big If i feel he should have left last summer instead of sitting for the cash. Now he suddenly wants to leave... Let's watch nd see how it goes |
youngZee23:Normals. Anything is possible tho. But getting Mbappe and paying him almost a million pound every week won't sit well with most of our toxic players... Them fit begin reject contract anyhow ![]() |
BlueAngel444:You get point but i wonder how his wage structure would be. Boehly go gree close eye pay 1M a week wage? Plus PSG go gree sell ham? |
BlueAngel444:Bayern probably wouldn't want him. Only Madrid is in the mix to afford him and his excesses and attitude |
forgiveness:that's also going to be extended cos obviously he might not play a game till earliest November. Emphasis on the bolded. Meaning this season is even worst than his previous cases where ge just misses about a month plus due to injuries... Now it's heading to missing over 3 months. Same person who was battling injuries before and during preseason as well And that's who is clamouring for a 4 year deal. Lol |
BlueAngel444: ![]() Na google research merchant. Project researcher. Kante that has been out for almost 2 good months now. He dey google research numbers to show us. As if we don't watch the matches and follow up the team ourselves |
Kilishihunter: Haaland definitely is mile ahead of him this season. Maybe he don reason ham say Neymar nd Messi wan boycott him progress from winning Balon D'or hence all sudden change He should have thought of this before signing the deal he did last summer |
How true is this?.. Them say Mbappe wan join Madrid suddenly

forgiveness:Over the years Chelsea "Hardly" gives players more than a year contract. Is it the English that's the problem for you? You should have said so. "Hardly" in that context means they don't give players more than a year contract that easily. I still went ahead to say Kante getting upto 3 years wasn't bad at all. But Kante is asking for a 4 years deal. You said Vialli nd Zola were exceptions but how is their contract compared to the 4 years Kante is asking of more than 300k a week? I still asked you to point out anywhere Chelsea has ever given a player in his 30s a 4 years and above contract. Something you still haven't and can't answer. Hence all this panelbeater job you have been doing here. |
forgiveness:I wait to see where i said the policy was restricted to "Only" existing players. All this your "Fire on the Mountain" movement around the topic of discussion is just too funny I said show me where in the entire history of Chelsea both during the Pre-Abramovich era and Post-Abramovich era in which a player in his 30s was ever given a contract of over 4 years and above since you clearly pointed using Zola and Vialli as exemptions to getting such contracts which was a big fat bang of lies You're coming here to give me an iberiberistic and efulefulistic answer that can be likened to the lyrics below ![]()

DumaEmpire:Since you like digging Archives i still await your response to this @Forgiveness |
forgiveness:Oh. I see you had to do your homework by googling about the Zola deal for your comeback ![]() Even went as far as giving a good and detailed summary of how much he was given. Lol some of us don't have to go into google archives to dig out things. Hence why i neglected adding the half into the 3 But kudos on your articulated project research. Still on still 3 nd half years for a new signing who was younger than Kante isn't still equivalent to 31 year old injury prone player player asking for a 4 year deal. The amazing thing is you dwelling on Zola deal of over 26 years ago just to back Kante but still yet it doesn't adequately fit your narrative. |
forgiveness:Kante has been offered a good 3 years deal. Not one, not 2 but 3 good years of good pay. Why is he insisting on 4 years. Even Frank Lampard, Drogba, Cech nd Terry never had upto 4 years contract deals in their 30s. And like i pointed. Zola nd Vialli were signed on the basis of being new players in the club and not already existing players. Koulibaly is over 31 with a 4 year deal strictly as a new player. Kante is an existing player. I wait for you to bring up a deal of 4 years and above given to a player in his 30s at Chelsea as an already existing player dating as far back as pre-Abramovich era. |
Unlimited22: ![]() I dey watch to wait for his reply. He's been here a minute and cos he sees an unusual moniker like mine he feels he's big enough to school me on football politics. Cos he feels i started supporting Chelsea yesterday and started watching football a day before yesterday. Lol |
forgiveness:Zola was 30(3 years deal), Vialli was 32.(2 years deal) Then Kante is 31(asking for 4 years deal)
|
forgiveness:Lol. Zola was signed on about a 3 year deal in 96(or even less can't really recall but i definitely know it wasn't more than a 3 year deal). Vialli was signed on a 2 year deal nd left the club in 99(as a manager). None of them were offered a deal worth more than 3 years and they were new players signed into the club for that matter and not already existing players. So how's that an exemption. Lol Its Just like Silva getting signed in 2020 and still playing at 38 years old. Probably his contract would be extended. And then after 25 years someone starts using him as a reference cos he checked on google and saw him playing for Chelsea at such an age for some amount of years or time. Not knowing it was based on contract extension. Back to my point as you pointed out Chelsea "Hardly" gives players more than a year or 2 years contract to players. Kante an existing player who's 31 getting up to 3 years is even fairer than Zola nd Vialli you mentioned who were new players signed on 3 nd 2 contract deals respectively. The real exception should be Koulibaly as he's the first player getting 4years in a very long time as a Chelsea player who's in his 30s. However he's fit enough to play and not romancing injuries every now and then. |
I love it when former players or managers play against Chelsea with the mindset of trying to get a revenge It always end sour for them ![]()

forgiveness:You shouldn't have started from Zola or Vialli. You should have gone as far back as the 1970s when we had people like Osgood nd Webb winning the FAcup against Leeds. Infact go as far back as the 1950s when we won our first League title. You also forgot to mention Gullit, afterall he was the one who got those 2 names you mentioned into the club Since this is now a history class. This is quite a pathetic reply. If you had nothing reasonable to reply you could have ignored instead of saying something as dumb as this. These things aren't hard to fact check or understand. Over the past 20 years Chelsea has organized a business in a way whereby Players around their 30s are hardly offered more than a year contract. 2 at the very best. No matter who that player is and if he doesn't accept he's free to leave. Kante is amongst our top 2 highest earners im the club. Kante has been battling injuries for over 3 seasons now. The club offering a three years contract is very much fair to Kante whose absence due to injuries are even increasing... If he does well the contract can always be extended just like Tsilva who joined the club under a short contract which got extended Kante has been out since August after about 2 matches and currently might be out throughout Oct too. Yes he's best at what he does but he's over 30s now. His body can't keep up with those workloads hence the injuries |
