EducationRe: OAU, Ile-ife VC: When Silence Is No More Golden by Dunsin89(m): 4:35am On Jul 05, 2016
I love your writeup Mr Justice07106, but I must let you know that the due process for the appointment of VCship in OAU doesn't stipulate a DVC to become the VC rather it requires an entirely new academic to hold the pretigious position. Prof Omole and his cohorts unilaterally appoint a man of their own possibly someone who mirrors his character to be his successor maybe to cover his administration defects. I guess you are in favour of prof Omole (the former VC) because you are one sided in your writeup. If not, I equally expect you to talk about Prof Omole misappropriation of funds and many other allegations levelled against him. NASU and some other concerned bodies or association knows more about what is going on in the senate more than the students and they can be fighting for a-no-just cause. The students' have less say in the matter and that led to the more reason why NASU came up to the struggle though they have their own flaws and excesses too.

EducationRe: Do Nigerian Pharmacy Graduates Sell Drugs Or Create Them? by Dunsin89(m): 2:45am On Jul 05, 2016
The rigours of Pharmacy in a standard Nigerian university is really a heinous and a breath-taking one. But it is so unfortunate that most of Pharmacy graduates end up as owners/dispensers in Drug stores, and hospital dispensary workers. While a very few work as Lecturers, NAFDAC or NDLEA officials. But the vast majority work in many other feilds that just require you been a graduate of one course or the other and some other into innovative enterprise business. You can see from the above data that "they" are all scattered around like hydra tentacles.
When it comes to manufacture Drugs, that's far from being true. Though they may know the pharmacology, pharmacokinetics or the pharmaconogsy of the drugs. Most drugs we use are mostly from India with distributor/agents offices mainly sited in Lagos.

EducationRe: 2016/2017 University of Ibadan Admission Thread Guide. by Dunsin89(m): 6:05pm On Jul 01, 2016
UI is going to come up with new modalities for admission which is going to be on their site anytime after July 15th 2016. Insider news make it crystal clear that they won't be using UTME and O'Level aggregate as a major admission criteria 'cos their reason for abolishing that method since 2012 hasn't been undermined. Their post-UTME has remained a powerful insignia in determining those ripe and fit for admission and those who won't be dropped out of the system later on into the 1st and the best university.
If you have not been preparing for your post-UTME, please in your own best interests start preparing now because announcement of UI post UTME will come like a thief in the night. Don't be caught unaware. Wishing you all the best in Life. HAPPY NEW MONTH

EducationRe: Post UTME: See The Message Of A Candidate To JAMB, Federal Government, Vcs. by Dunsin89(m): 3:40am On Jul 01, 2016
Well said, even if the federal government wants to scrap post-UTME, it shouldn't be this year that a lot of irregularities, wrong marking system, inverse marks etc was the fate of most candidates. Though post-UTME may have it own lapses, but I must state clearly that the university of Ibadan, University of Benin, University of Lagos, Ahmadu Bello university, Obafemi Awolowo University and some few others have made progresses in conducting credulous post-UTME at little cost and it has been fairly good enough in getting the desired filterates into the University.
Post-UTME can only be cancelled/scrapped if JAMB conducts credible examinations and not the one experienced in this year's own

If you observed well, you'll noticed that the first person to bring any sentiment is from the same region with the OP. The Poster Foolest85 wrote "what else do u expect 4rm a goro chewing dullards' region?" so who is to be blamed for ethnic sentiment?
The North existed as Arewa before the amalgamation, so the North had fully functional government that is partitioned in major cities and towns, Sokoto is the center, that's it, all other Emirates reports to the sultan, so, naturally, when Nigeria was formed and states were being created, the name of those major cities was used to named the area and towns were the new states were carved out.. In the case of Kano - Kano, the Kano as in the state capital is called Kano municipal, because many Local governments are now merged in to the capital.. Thanks
. I should have appreciated and nodded to your writeup buh your moniker pisses me off bigtime

EducationRe: No Post Utme Exams, Fg Insists by Dunsin89(m): 10:20pm On Jun 27, 2016
Shay dis Minister wants to see "idamu" ni? Must it be this year was JAMB-UTME was rubbish that post-UTME ought to be cancelled? Even if post-UTME is to be scrapped, it shouldn't be this year 'cos of the many mishaps, irregularies, wrong marking system etc attached like remora fish to the whole exam thing.
Though post-UTME may have it dents and flaws, but I can say that the post-UTME serves as a better means of sieving in the good candidates merited for admission as in the case with the University of Ibadan, university of Benin, Obafemi Awolowo University, and some few good others.
