Unlike before 1966 where each region manage it's own affairs, the introduction of the Unitary System makes the Regional Government weaked. That is one of the reasons Ojukwu start crying like a pig because Gowon isn't a major general then.

Ojukwu would not have ask for regional system again if it's already in place in the first place.

Ojukwu wouldn't have asked for Regional System if an Igbo man is the general.

Ojukwu isn't ready to take order from Federal Government any longer because the President (Gowon) is a junior officer.

I have fine gone through all the rubbish posted by some people, I am not going to say much, since 1999, PDP have never and will never lose election, apart from Jega magu magu and the almagiri voting in the north, the north have no power block vote, we know how Jega deployed obsolete computers and other rubbish to undermine the voters registration of the PDP strongholds especially the south east which has been corrected to some an extent, but the vast majority Igbos who are the second highest voters in every state across the country always help the Igbos, what some noise makers don't know is PDP lost 2015 election because the lost middle belt which is one of their natural strongholds for the first time, which will not happen again, right from 1999, the Yoruba and the north have never voted PDP, buhari always win in most of the core northern states, check the voting pattern in 2015, the votes from the west did not give buhari winning , Jonathan lost because the middle belt for the first time voted buhari for the first time outside their normal alliance with the south east and south south , since the time of Solomon lar, right from time the Yoruba always work or vote against the interest of the other south, why they are making mouth now because they felt destroyed the south by voting buhari in power which in actually fact was not their vote but the votes of the middle belt who voted against the interest of the south east and south south for the first time but this time around, the herds men menace, I doubt if anybody from the core north will ever get support from them with buhari's betrayal, the combination of middle belt, south east and south south with the votes of non Muslims in the west and north always counter any game plan from the north and Yoruba States, that was Jega wanted to add those additional pooling units which was rejected but by 2023 APC will hands down because the normal voting pattern of the middle belt, south east and south south will be restored

1. Igbos want to take over Lagos by all means and they see Tinubu as their biggest stumbling block. Their aim is to have an Igbo Governor.
