To all AAU aspirants coming for post-UTME, Epkoma is a place for the smart. it's advisable that when u come, don't rush into things. Most esp bike(okada). They would want to play on your intelligence just because u are freshers. They will charge u exorbitant prices cos u don't know where u r going to. For those coming from town, the normal price is #100-150 while those around school(village) the price is #50 I was shocked when a bike man collected #800 from an aspirant who came to write jamb. chapter 1, Episode 1: It was a bright Saturday morning, everyone acclaimed. Was it really bright for me? I just woke up to the bitter reality that I don't know where my day's bread will fall from. Though, I did not sleep hungry last night, she brought me her food and we ate it together. For the fact that I was merely a kid, I knew even if I had nothing, I still had my self esteem and it doesn't speak well of me, collecting food from a girl. who exactly was she? Her name is Esther, she and her three elder sisters with her parents stay in the same compound as my mum, sis and I. "Don't worry Paul" she said to me, "see, today my Daddy will be going to Asaba and when he comes back he will bring bread. shey you will eat na?" she completed what she was saying and realised that I wasn't even paying attention to what she just said. The next thing I remembered was "taow!!! " her mum came with a loud smack on her back and pulled her ear, dragging her to the kitchen. Not that Mama Gift was wicked to us, but Esther did not do her chores that morning. Her Mum has been calling her but she snubbed. So she searched for her and found her in our usual place, meant for only the two of us. Esther was two years older than me, though I was more matured and she was more cunning. She was my elder sister's age mate. is liked her. I liked her genuine smartness. ********************************************* About me My name is Paul Oshioke Ahmed. I hail from Etsako West L. G. A of Edo state, but we reside in Okpella, Edo state. I was only four years old at that time, but believe me, I was far wiser and matured than nearly all my mates. Maybe because of my past experiences, maybe just nature. My Mum and I were really poor. But does it mean that I was born poor? I was actually born with a golden spoon so to speak. when I was born, barely nine months old, tragedy struck and I became a pauper. A downtown pauper. I was born in March with a 'golden' spoon and in 'NOVEMBER 11TH', i was welcomed by terrible hardship. I was with no spoon at all. I couldn't even afford a rubber one. Tragedy struck!!!!! keep in touch for the next episode |

There have been arguments that have really gone haywire about with many Nigerian music lovers concerning this two labels; Mavin records and starboy records, arguing that one has better producers over the other. Mavin records, being a producer-owned label, have been able to groom good producers and musicians alike. Don Jazzy, the owner and C.E.O of the label have been able to develop himself to become what he is today before he signed two other producers to his folk. The other talents who later joined officially where said to be learning under him before they where signed. The first one that was unleashed was Baby Fresh. Baby Fresh has been behind Mavin hits songs like Reekado Banks 'corner', Di'ja's 'falling for you' featuring Patoranking, Tiwa Savage's 'my darlin', just to mention a few. The other track maker added to Mavin's killer squad was Altims. Altims was the brain behind the ever sensational hit by Reekado Banks 'Oluwa ni' and 'Standard' by the same songstar. Don Jazzy, being famous for the countless numbers of hits he has back-boned such as Nigeria's biggest song ever 'oliver twist' by D'Banj (That song was described as the 'biggest song to ever leave the shores of Nigeria'), one of Nigeria's best Love songs, 'Ololufe' by wande coal. He also produced wande coal's first album titled 'Mushin to Mohits'. which was widely accepted and sold millions of copies world wide. Jazzy was the first Nigerian producer to work with international artists on a track, namely; Beyonce, Jay Z and Kanye West. He has also received so many awards and accolades due to his efforts. Lest I forget, Jazzy produced Korede Bello's Godwin that was performed at the presidential swearing in ceremony and even in a Church! The latter label, Starboy records which is headed by our one and only Starboy, Ayodeji Balogun also known as Wizkid (Wizzy for short) houses also one of the finest producers in the industry. The label has churned out hits back-to-back through the ever talented Wizkid and L.A.X. Since WizKid got his freedom from Banky, he has worked more harder to ensure he stands on his feet. Him and his then label mate puffed out hits such as 'caro' prod. by Sarz (one of his producers), 'back to the matter' prod. by Maleek Berry, 'ginger' prod. by Legendury Beatz. Legendary beatz also produced 'Ojuelegba', one of the most appreciated Nigerian songs all around the world. Legendury did some personal stuff with L.A.X like 'fine boy', 'Ole' just to mention a few. other Wizkid's producers were not left out of the gig as Sarz produced the much anticipated Wizkid and Chris Brown's 'African bad Girl' jam. Maleek berry also produced wande coal's 'baby hello', which was a typical hit in its season. All producers have been matched in accordance to the work the've done. take a look. A. B 1 Baby fresh. vs. Maleek Berry 2 Sarz. vs. Altims 3 Don Jazzy. vs. Legendury Beatz vote by typing 'A1'. or B1. Apply to all 3 of them. Don't forget to drop your views and comments. |

bibijay123:let no durapro put a$$ under |
veekid:yea I'm really kidding o. I nor dey folo pesin drag wife ![]() |
bibi mama, I noticed some flaws at the just concluded episode. constructive criticism tho.... I didn't expect chief Johnson to be standing there doing nothing when Victoria collapsed out of shock. blood is thicker than water. He must have gone to join the others where Victoria was. There's probably no way one or two people wouldn't have been panicking around him. he also Couldn't have stood there still. The scene was tensed. You also described Auntie Maggie to be strong hearted, because its only a strong hearted woman that would do what she did. The scene expected her to be terrified after Victoria collapsed. she could have been shaky or something. what do u think? I'm anxiously waiting for the next episode and what it holds. bibi mama. more polish to your sandals. keep it up |
