This my point... If copying and making reference is still plagiarism, then most topics on NL are plagiarised as they are lifetd from another website. Am pretty sure that virtually 95percent of Nigerian graduates made reference to other materials during their project... So what then is true plagiarism @martins...

The fact is that you don't just copy and paste an author's work word for word and then add a reference at the end of your article...You must quote the author in your text...

Wait... Did Martins submited an entry...? If he did, then this copyright check that he is doing is really uncalled for... Even though what he is doing is right, but he is the wrong person to do it since he is a fellow contestant. I have not seen any competition where a fellow contestant helps to bring about the downfall of his colleague... The judges shld take note, martins is doing what he is not supposed to do and that shld warrant a penalty... Ro be fair to all contestant...

I have done that. Am really impressed with some that passed 100 percent. Only problem was their grammar (spelling, punctuation and phrasing) and effective handling of the topic based on the guidelines.

Excluding yours, which would you consider as Top 3.

I know it feels but you have to understand the Judges position..if they accept yours there is every possibility some may also have their different reasons.
