seunlayi:What's this one even saying? Are you dreaming |
pocohantas:Deodorants are so good. I can testify. I don't have a foul smell, but I believe that everybody even those who don't have body odor do have a little smell when you touch your arm pit and smell it. Then I started to use deodorants and everything feels fresh 100% of the time. I love deodorants. |

dollytino4real:If you have any questions to ask about tshirt branding, I'll be glad to answer! |
dollytino4real:The chemicals are not applied on the tees but used in the process of making the mesh used for printing. |
dollytino4real:You're welcome. You can do it too |
Odoogu:Thank you |

Yes. If you have little knowledge of t-shirt branding, you'll know that they're several methods of printing, and if you don't know SCREEN PRINTING you can't call yourself a t-shirt printer. I learnt SCREEN PRINTING by myself! But how did I start? Screen printing is an art an a science! You have to understand how it works. In 2017, I started selling branded tees but I had someone at Lagos design and print them for me. I am in Akwa Ibom, so doing that long distance plus the fact that people needed faster jobs made me want to do it by myself. So I looked up on Google and YouTube how I can print by myself. Meanwhile, one guy in Lagos I met at first told me of too many things I should buy if I'm to start branding myself. It ran into 400k. It discouraged me then, because I didn't have to up 20k in my account then , so I used my knowledge of Google and YouTube to learn about tshirt branding. I discovered that with the method of branding called screen printing, that I can start with as low as 10k at home. I doesn't require exorbitant set up to start. I was very happy. With a mesh which cost between 1k and 2k depending on size and a few chemicals and inks you're good to go. I was happy and ready to start my journey on tshirt branding. To start, I needed to just see someone that has done it to show me where to buy the materials cos I didn't know what kind of shop sells it. I checked at a stationery store, they didn't know anything I listed I wanted. So one man directed me to a man doing post graduate program then at fine art (Uniuyo). I met him at Ibom hall where he was attending a program. He told me where to buy the materials at Abak road, and how to expose the mesh. (I credit him for giving me some ideas on how some things are applied here, that the videos I watched did not use such methods). After buying everything, I took it home but by the time I exposed the first one, it was 3.30pm. it wasn't perfect. I cleaned the mesh and tried all over again, by the time I did the second time, the sun was down. It wasn't perfect because of that. Next day I took what I did and showed him, he was impressed with what I did. That day he brushed me up. So in just a day I was good to go. But to be sincere I wasn't perfect. Screen printing is what people take months to perfect. Some never perfect it. So I used the following weeks to do lots of trial and errors. I had my first printing job, and suffered so much. I didn't have anything to place the shirt on to print. I did it on the floor. Ink stained the some of the white shirts. I think I spoiled up to 5 tees. The job had some issues. But to my surprise the guy did not complain about those issues after getting the job. But I kept desiring to perfect it. Today I'm the best of my kind at screen printing. I started with as low as 8k in 2017. I had nothing then. Today I have a shop, Laptop, Plotter, Many tshirts for sale A t-shirt printing table that I saw the design from videos and replicated. I'll show pictures of my jobs

wakaman:Your last line is funny but true cos I've been imagining if I try to ask them what could happen if I'm alone. |
wakaman:I do enjoy their food all the time. That's why I keep going back. Lots of people eat there too. |
There's this restaurant I like to eat their food. Their meat is usually very big for N300. That's comparing with what other restaurants do put in their soup for N300. Plus their soup is always rich with good stockfish. The meat looks and smells like goat meat sometimes. But sometimes they cook with beef, which is very easy to know. It's the one they usually cook with, that looks like human meat to me because of its usual big size and large fatty part most of the time.. So I ask, how do I know if the meat I'm eating is truly goat meat and not human meat. (I have this feeling because things like this do happen and they later get exposed). I'll update with pictures of the soup when I buy and bring it back if I get lots of response here! |
Anigreat:I don't believe you. If in Akwa Ibom which LGA and which street? |
Trump is now on the review section of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, ranting about the apps. He has no where else to post anything. ![]() |
Michdaf:Give us the full gist na. ![]() I'll always be checking on this thread to read updates. Cali, how far? |
It's been ages a thread got me hooked. I mean I read this thread from the first to the last. I've been on nairaland for ages, and haven't been making comments and generally just scan through threads. When I saw this one and saw that it was 29 pages, something told me that the guy has showed up, and that some point they'll make up after some violence. And it happened just as I predicted. I've seen some fine comments from some really smart persons. They were interesting to read. Quite revealing too. And I hope to see them come back to settle it completely. The things I learn from this are the following: Don't keep ask someone if they've eaten if you can't assist. Don't ghost someone you really like if you can't stay without them. Find a way to explain yourself. For females, don't expect the guy to do all the calling and chatting, such that if he doesn't call or chat you, that's the end of it. |
dingbang:This he dies, you'll still think it's a hoax |

How I was scammed of N500 and I gladly worked away! So on This day, I left home to go buy some materials for work. I live at Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. I entered bus from Ikot Ekpene road to where they call Plaza. I was now trekking to Aka road. Then as I was passing the place by Qua Iboe Church I met one trickster that plays with cards, (but this one used three customized packs where one of it had someone's face). As I was about to pass there, I saw lots of people gathering around, THEN I saw one guy who said something like, 'NO way in fact I'm ready to stake my phone'. I was like seriously? Someone is ready to stake his phone for this thing he'll obviously loose the phone? Of course I can't tell him not to, so this made me want to wait and see what will happen as he's about to loose his phone. An Android phone. Looked like Tecno Spark 4, the same phone I'm using.. ![]() He stepped up to play again, but said, NO, he wants to play with 1k But then since I already stopped, I still wanted to see how he'll lose the 1k cos I've never heard of anyone or seen anyone win against those tricksters. The trickster opened his cards and showed him the one with the face and closed it, shuflled it with just 2 or 3 whips which is very easy to know which one it is. Then asked him to place his finger on the one that he thinks is the one with the face, he placed one of his finger. He told him to lift it off, he did and was wrong so he lost the 1k, and the trickster looked around and asked; 'who saw the correct one?' me n like 2 oda persons said they saw it, he looked to me and said which one is it. I pointed to the far left, he opened and I was right. He said you've won 5h. Bring out 5h and collect the 1k that was in his hand. I said NO that I don't want. That I just showed you doesn't mean I played. Everyone there said, 'aaahh take it na, you just won N500. Give him 500 and take the 1k'. I reluctantly took out 5h to collect the 1k and move. The guy collected the N500 and held on to the 1k he was to give me, said that I only pointed to it, that I should play it now to win it I begin vex say he should return my money. Everyone said, I should play it that I'll win again. I said NO. It was clear that I can't get the money from him again. All the people there are his people and no one will ever be on my side, besides I don't even have the strength to make trouble there and win, not to talk of the fact that it's risky being seen there for one minute. People that know me might see me there and wonder why someone like me that doesn't believe this kind of thing is doing playing that. I just wanted to leave and forget the 5h. Then he made a suggestion for me and the other guy that lost 1k: he said he wants to give us back our money but that we must promise to bring back customers to him. The other quickly agreed. He got me to agree too. So the both of us where to play at the same time and win back our money. He shuffled it, very simple and the one that is correct is very easy to see, he said we should place each of our fingers on the correct one, the other guy quickly placed his own, me I was reluctant to place cos my instincts tells me, once I place my finger, the thing will not be there. I know it's jazz. Everyone once again said place your finger na, I placed but just took it off, immediately, he said I'm too impatient, that I should place it back. That it's the only way it's going to work. I did again. Then he said that we should bring out all the money in our pockets for him to see, I wondered why ? Before I could know, the other guy that lost 1k took out money from his pocket, money that was not less than 15k cos I saw lots of 1k notes and a few N500 notes, boooom he collected it and the guy did not even bother. I wondered why he will hand out his money to same guy that if your money enters his hand you can't get it back,, (oh, is it because he promised to return our monies to us and you believe him). I told myself I can't be this stupid to give out the remaining 4k in my wallet to this guy to hold again. I quickly lifted off my finger from that stuff and said, I don't want my money back again, that he should take it, since I have to give him my remaining money before I can get back my N500. You're mad people That is how I stormed out. Lost 5h gallantly and zoomed away. They called me back, 'come back', 'you'll win it'. 'Ah don't go na'. One came to me as I was walking away, that I Bleep up, I should not leave my money like that. Immediately I left, my mind told me that the other guy, the one that wanted to stake his phone was one of them, that's how they do to draw unsuspecting people. |
