Bros/Sis, have you decided to intentionally bury your head in the sand ( Ostrich style)? A few have confirmed on here and can be inferred that many more have not displayed the knowledge here.
All the positive energy you can display is believe that with or without the sources that can tell your AC performance, you will get in with the efforts you displayed earlier in the year.
People already know their status, I wish I was one.
cashme28:
Well this cannot be substantiated. I have not seen anyone write in this forum that (s)he has confirmed the outcome of the AC. As earlier said, we all still have equal chances of getting in.
Q1 2016 beckons....
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 10:59pm On Dec 26, 2015
Whatever the decision is, NLNG must expand its operation to remain competitive hence the train 7. They need capable hands to run the plants hence the GT recruitment. Whatever the short term market economics dictates ( oil price crash) or the long term competition implies ( shale oil and gas, rapidly expanding Australia, Canada and USA markets), they have to position to be amongst the top industry players in volume.

The number of personnel to effectively run the expanded plant is a constant ( yes company policy and practices will dictate this), and these roles cannot be merged else will reduce efficiency and this isn't an Aunty Iyabo and sons oil company.

The sane compromise to come to can be to stagger the recruitment till a saber economic scenario presents itself, and take in the required number to make up the initial plan, similar to how people had been entering since 2008 or conduct another recruitment as soon as possible.

Whatever they want to do, Abeg just release the results. No sitting and deliberating again this new year, release the results and go.

Contrary to Artmedia's assertions. I choose to go with Nlng2014's subtle hint. Corrected only option 3 of LadyF's suggestions leaving option 4 which says our mails drop tomorrow. No loss in being positive. Even went through all of NLNG2014's prior posts to see a trend, and e be like say na small Oracle.

I choose to believe.

If 80 lawyers perform better than the top 2 engineers, the engineers will get in before the 10th and 11th lawyers. We already know. We just want this wait to end, positive or negative. To have a direction is all we seek. It has been a tough road. Congrats to the successful, and to those who's time isn't now, it doesn't imply your time is never coming. Know thyself and apply thyself, joy will come.

Sad story for the young engineer. Please does NLNG close for the year.

What was the gist of the post?
whatsupguys:
Saved2Serve, thank you for that post. I wonder why you removed it. It was of immense benefit to me and I have adknowledge. How much I wished I knew this earlier. Although I took time to thank my assessors at the beginning of each session, but the letter been better by far. Thanks bro.

What is the company culture on whistleblowing? And it's recommended procedure? If these exist, what is the body language of those who'll typically receive and act on the exposé? If negative, cease and desist. If positive, blow and feign ignorance on the potential relationship between the new consultant and your boss.

Say the credit note you believe was sent in before the consultant came on board was just presented, and given the value of the note it would have ideally been processed if there's no malpractice going on. Harp on the integrity of the company.

Last last, use your church mind... I won't be with you if your boss starts to act funny or if your mind isn't at rest for allowing wrong to prevail. All the best.[quote

Don't worry, we will enter NLNG together and I'll be delegating jobs to you in 5 years, and you'll vex and leave in 8 because of lack of growth or satisfaction.
Telling me about hierarchy of needs, from my speech pattern you can't detect what hierarchy level I currently am. I no go need show myself for here. So saved2serve, you see why I need you in NLNG. Identified a few other discerning individuals like incredible and whattsupguys amongst others. Ours is not just to make profit for the company, it's to improve the nation simultaneously.
airsaylongcon:
You talk funny! Talking about adding value, you know you can add more value in Nigeria by teaching at your local primary school. But you want to work at NLNG and don't tell me it's because of the work environment cos that work environment was paid for using money. In Maslows hierarchy, basic necessities must be met before altruistic ones. So no matter how value adding a business is if it's not making profit it has failed.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 11:09am On Dec 09, 2015
Any business that makes nothing but money is a poor business, who said that? Yeah Henry Ford. I'm a Fordian, that's a man who understood value and caused rapid worldwide development as we have now. You see nothing but money, I won't grow you into management or decision making, you have your use in the system yes. You see value, I grow you into decision making and strategic positions. I want more of saved2serve in the NLNG management is why I want him to take the offer, I have my plans too and having a kindred in him as against your type will make us achieve great feats even you will marvel at.

Did Ford's competitors not imbibe some of his policies later? I see past my nose or stomach as the case may be. This is evident in our political differences.
airsaylongcon:
My guy, the only reason NLNG is in business is for PROFIT! You think if they weren't making money from selling cooking gas locally they would do it? If so, why aren't they selling LNG locally or you think we dont need it? Forget selflessness. In business I'm a pure Machiavellian, the end justifies the means. Its not immoral, it's amoral.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 9:57am On Dec 09, 2015
Congrats, I will really love you to take up the NLNG offer as you're a selfless individual, and this will enhance implementation of ideas by the company similar to the cooking gas scheme which will benefit Nigeria. It was selfless people like you who proposed it, will prefer that to you working in a company strictly concerned about profits.
Congrats again. And may the good Lord bless your endeavors.
Saved2Serve:
if you are a hopeful for pre-employment medical examination. kindly write your resignation letter now (an act of faith), print it out. Speak to it, pray upon it. Stick it on your room wall and pray upon it every morning for God to expedite its postage. grin Meanwhile, i have got another Job. Good offer!! Glory be to God! I have my medicals coming up soon. Some one gave a tip for pre-medical tips. So funny; grin The eve of the med-exam day, eat good number of banana, of course you know the immediate health benefits of banana. Google it. Skip breakfast on the d-day. Take a glass of water in the morning. If you have not taken your hepatitis-A vaccine or whatever hepa- endeavor to do so.

Everyone is scared of the economy because everyone was involved in quick money making schemes with no value added to the economy, no empowerment of Nigerians. So they all now know there is no free money flowing.
CHM11:
all my assertions are focused on the future...not d past.
as it concerns banks lending money to businesses .....no one wants to take a loan now cos everyone is scared of this economy.

truth be tole, i dont like buhari doesnt mean i am/was for jonathan....i wasnt polar like that.

@nastyme i would have loved to write an epistle too but its almost busy hour....we will talk Nigeria later bro
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 10:07am On Dec 08, 2015
You just reiterated my statement on a faux economy with no real value herein. What do these your brothers import? Photocell controllers? Smart phone making robotics? Automated tractor controlling chips ? NO. They import toothpicks, toothpaste, champagne, mobile phones, processed crude, processed palm oil. Where is the value? Where is the cycle there to develop Nigeria?

People who focused on quick money making systems to satisfy consumer demand based on the easy flow of government revenue will cry. That's why the strictly consumer based Jumia and Konga et al had to lay off. Real value creating systems will be created in the following years and Fashola will come lead us into a more prosperous Nigeria.
So yes, many of us know the end game, clean up Nigeria for an implementer to come lead us right. The man who applied for 12 years knows what he's doing.

airsaylongcon:
APC hard several better candidates. If the former governor of Lagos had been put forward I will gladly organise my local government to line up behind him. I believe in antecedents not ruling by fiat. You talk of revenue generation from customs. I laugh hard! We are an import driven economy, propped up by oil. Oil is so cheap I fit buy one tanker now sef, with increased OPEC supply price will drop further. CBN has tried to cripple import in other to prop the Naira. Be honest apart from the harmattan does it look like Christmas is coming? Our brothers across the river cannot bring in containers as they used to. So who is customs gonna tax. If government is going to further tax an already groaning populace they should prepare for popular uprising or a call by civilians for those boys in the barracks to come and help. Either way the dullard at ASO villa has become synonymous with tight economy. My dad says during his first rule, they lined up to buy essential commodities (ESSENCO). The same is happening now. 12 years of persistently applying for a job and you suddenly get the job yet are clueless on how to do the job.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward:
I am truly not sorry your preferred candidate lost. You would prefer Nigeria crashes and burns under uncle hero, than steadily recover under daddy Bubu. Benchmarking against the immediate past waste of a government, plugging of holes alone is revenue generation, utilization of budget aright is revenue generation.
Now improved revenues from customs and as next year will be a serious tax year, you're still saying no revenue generation. I'm glad my Nigeria is now on a path to sustainability and never again will we allow misrule.

The country operated a faux economy propped by government earnings, hence no real value was ever created in the system. It's why we are predominantly a consumer economy. Focus of this government is revenue diversification with focus on agriculture and mines.
Now to those discerning individuals who'll join me in Bonny, as I advised earlier; please don't become the Range driving fellow waiting on the next paycheck, invest in agriculture and you will not understand the grace that'll come upon you.
My Nigeria is moving forward, and never again will we allow incompetence rule over us. This was all predicated by the Otta farmer not picking Duke, competence.
airsaylongcon:
There's absolutely NO plan to generate revenue. Entire focus is on "recovering" so-called stolen money. Once all the so-called stolen money has be "recovered" (an impossibility) what next? How does the nation generate sustainable income considering that the so-called stolen money is a finite resource that WILL be used up? What's the plan for manufacturing? For agriculture? Abeg no let me show my true colour towards him o.... Suffice to say that I DO NOT like him. Yeah yeah he's my president for the next four years at least but that seat go dey hot am for nyash. We now conduct elections in minimum two days under him. Sometimes at midnight sef. Change! You talk of fighting corruption and you are surrounded by over forty thieves, my Friend you be Ali Baba be dat (not d comedian o!). Ordinary that Ota farmer threaten am he started locking his balls and anus. Mehn no let me start abeg. We are looking for NLNG position so let's keep the thread clean.

My last job, I knew I was to resume in January by October. It didn't affect the recruitment process or company integrity in any manner. I cannot create any excuse for the lack of communication on the part of the company. It really just not right. No ethics will justify this.

One guy lamented his fate over a month ago, moniker beginning in O, and Jigsaw celebrated his a few weeks ago. People know their fates and can plan for their future. We now know resumption is around March, please NLNG let go of the multitude that won't make it.
You are holding too many people back.

Is it certain that some folks already know their faith? What informed u of that?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 1:15am On Dec 07, 2015
Chill, this isn't funny. This is implying the unsuccessful ones might have to wait till January of February to know. That's really not fair.
Guest01:
Resumption is most likely going to be in Q1 2016, somewhere between February and March. Remove the one month notification factor from your permutations cos it does not apply to GTs, even thou some of us are gainfully employed and currently play vital roles in our place of work. The EH's might get their offer letters this month with the view of resumption in January.

Some peeps in here already know their status in the current GT recruitment. For those of us still waiting to know sup, i say keep believing. Victory is around the corner.

Do have a lovely week ahead peeps.

Shalom!!!

Eyin Agba mejeeji yi, ema ja oh. We are just here clan-like on this journey. If the time had been short, you never would have seen our deep fears manifested for some to insinuate some of us are weak. But Ebola happened, and elections happened and oil crash happened. All occurrences that affected our NLNG processing time and simultaneously other possible options.

So guys, don't bicker no more, time happened and our deep fears manifested. It's not that we are weak, we are just human and could do nothing but be human. Make una two no fight again, biko.

I almost curse the day this recruitment exercise began. I've never put my life on hold this long. I always had backup options, hence chasing too many at once and usually lost the main ones. For once I decided to have a single focus and close ALL backups, went for definiteness of purpose and now this limbo.
IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT AT ALL.

There's this interview I have for a role in Austria, I don't like the engineering design so much and can't speak German. If this NLNG option wasn't on the table, I've learnt full packaging in this UK and will package to become the Austrian Chancellor, but............

I'll get the permit and move my family over, next thing notification to uproot my life again....

No one wants to know resumption date, just communicate.

And to those who finally get into the system, kindly change this. You'll be a thoroughbred staff and you should please not stand for this lack of care to people, as its not consistent with the care you show to your host community and the nation.
