I personally detest the act of being overly pessimistic to show an air of fatalistic thinking. Do you know increasing the market share in the gas industry is the main goal of the company over the next few years? Show empirical evidence or signs of Inferential thinking with whatever you say here especially this delicate period. During the wait for invites in March, I forecasted invites after handover way before the follow-up mail, that was Inferential thinking.
Please don't come here and form the thing no dey pain me so much.
I might have ranted, but I haven't cursed.

Even if it's just 20 of the almost a thousand who are completing their masters this September, we are boxed into no plans. It's crazy for those of us. No school, No jobs at the moment, can't plan for long engagements; even interviewing for other jobs I'm appropriating NLNG values upon them. Just do this thing and get it over with.
If you're ordering the fine china to be in the Bonny apartments or organizing armored vehicles for ferrying us through PH city, that's secondary. Just send mail, Mr lagbaja sorry better luck, Miss lakasegbe congrats, wait for further info, shikena. This has been on since October 2013. I've been prepping for interviews since then.
Please, just finish this thing.

NLNG, this is pretty basic now. This is similar to having everyone who had the shl test with their status unknown till this year May. Just release this result.

3 + 3 x 3 - 3 + 3

How many good oranges do you have if Dele has 3 and Tosin has thrice Dele's oranges with three of the oranges spoilt from transportation issues and 3 extra as bonus.

Can you all see there is no need to include any brackets? That is the root of the analysis mismatch. Mathematics never lies. Do not impose on it what is not.
BODMAS
3+3 x 3-3+3
B- No brackets in the question
O- No Of
D- No division
M- 3+ 9 - 3 + 3
A- 12 - 6
S- 6

I'll leave this thoughtline as is. Apparently 6 is the solution to the equation following basic principles, those with 12 as the answer solved from left to right like in the word problem I described above.

Guy why you dey do like this now, na only you go read that one to be pikin delivery. Guys once we get in, let's cause a development ripple by setting up profitable businesses like tapping into sai baba's agricultural dream.
Let's not be the Range crew in our first years. If 60% of us set up 5M with agricultural businesses in our first year, imagine the ripple effect on the economy and our finances. Congrats to us.

Some companies have rules against staff owning businesses or being on boards, Nicer please is this applicable to NLNG too?

Do not close this breaker if a key is in the latch.
You: The key must have been forgotten there, these technicians self. And you close breaker. That's how someone will die. Please follow instructions biko.
ddazz:
I beg to differ..I believe d answer is six...

3 + 3 x 3 - 3 + 3
3 + (3 x 3) - (3 + 3)
3 + (9) - 3 - 3
3 + 9 - 6 = 6

Niger Delta Youth Leaders Stage Protest At NLNG
Channels Television.
Updated August 29, 2015
NLNGThe Niger Delta Youth Movement comprising of leaders of youth groups from the Niger Delta, staged a peaceful protest at the office of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Their mission according to the protesters led by Niger Delta activist, Ankio Briggs, was to submit a protest letter to register their displeasure over the siting of the Dry Dock outside of the Niger Delta.

This, however, followed an earlier statement signed by the spokesman of the NLNG, Tony Okonedo, which stated that the Dry Dock Ship Yard was not a property of the NLNG but belonged to Badagry Ship and Marine company in Lagos for which the NLNG is a facilitator and not a sponsor.

Though, some officials of the company were on hand to receive the protest letter, no comments had been made yet by the NLNG.

A source in the company however, told Channels Television that members of management, were in Bonny Island for a meeting over the weekend and an official statement would be made after the letter had been studied.

For some of us in Obodo Oyinbo. Decisions such as

1: Apply for new visa and job here
2: Come back home
3: Pay for rent obviously outside Rivers
4: Process relocation to Canada or Australia
5: Marry the love of your life, 1 year wait enough
Many more such decisions. It's not easy.

TheSauce:
Decisions like:
1. Whether to propose to my bae or not kiss
2. Whether to pre-order this BMW or not cool
3. Whether to resign or not (I hope no one has done dat sha. Wait for notifications for medicals first o... Ehen) lipsrsealed

God will guide our decisions.

I didn't want to comment on the derailing statement, make I no go buy name. Interviews is an avenue to charge how well you can work with a candidate, no one really wants to work with a stiff staff; else is a research role. And Omo Igbo isn't a derogatory statement, I'll call my fine colleagues senorita; Ada and Omoh that's for you both wink.

Please we'll be in bonny for eons, don't be stiff and boring engineers, make the workplace one we'll be looking forward to. I'm speaking positivity into my life big-time. Who look my posts go think say I don see expo say my name comot, I just believe say my God get my side gidigbam.

You might be surprised that what you look as derailing they look at as confidence is sharing one's idea, and what you consider as "wrong" might be looked at as having friendly/cheerful attitude which is a good thing.

Guys, recommendation on the leadership styles was just a footnote to me. Bigger fish to fry in change of KPI from quantitative to qualitative measures. We are obviously not to see things from same angle, its why this recruitment is into many different sectors across the business.

Also in project management you do not manage strictly around the triple constraints, they are a good measure of project success, but if your project is within time, budget and scope; but stakeholders unhappy it'll be a failure cos it won't be used. So there's a bit more to it.

Presentation for me was bloody. I spent a considerable amount of time reading the material and was nearly caught napping. I was just able to squeeze in a presentation.

That evil scarletpimperne had waaaay too much insight into the AC. Some stuff he emailed me after I had done my AC popped my eyes. the SHL Multiple Assessment Portfolio link alone was a dead give away.

Northville all the way for Fact finding. On time and within budget. When you manage projects those two things alone and u are a Project Management super star

Oooh and for group work, for the first 10mins everybody was yarning dust. Shout out to my group leader who Controlled the conversation well, my group scribe who wrote all our decisions down on d flip chart and my group timekeeper who kept screaming that we were running out of time! I was overjoyed when one mechanical engineering grad wasn't on my floor let alone my group. That guy was spoiling for war.

Shout out to d bonny girl and spacyzuma who gave mehn appetite to eat the snails with reckless abandon.

Was Northville the one on the new construction site, or the one with a twin building with no creche close by?

Bros I no be insider ooh. I just had 2 years to prepare for the 1 day, there's so much information you can get in that period. Saying these so the successful ones can quickly imbibe the company culture.
Na God eye we all dey look to.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 9:37am On Aug 14, 2015
So if you asked 3 questions, What are the requirements, What is the preferred location and what is the budget? You believe you will be alright? None of the options satisfied the 3, you had to make a compromise. You needed to have asked enough questions to justify the compromise. But obviously too little time and too fast information reel out.
I even remember the preferred location was vague. We will be alright in the end.

What has happened so quick that moderator had to remove?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 4:33pm On Aug 13, 2015
Truth is the key is in the attitude displayed. Will your reasoning for standing firm be backed by ensuring no budget overshoot or just the appearance of not being a flip flopper; or will your reason for changing recommendation be because you believe location will be more important than budget in the long run or just flowing with the tide. These show different attitudes and its now to compare the attitudes with the 4 NLNG core values and 10 behaviors.
So technically there are no wrong answers but wrong attitudes to be displayed. Again, all inferred.
NanaF:
Well, I didnt change my recommendation. I was asked if I wanted to change it
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 4:09pm On Aug 13, 2015
This is interesting, will you stick to a choice because you've made it or change your mind when you get more relevant information?
NanaF:
I chose the answer that was the best fit for the requirement right? The questions then revealed details that were not given earlier on. So you then have to defend your choice. I don't think everybody chose the same thing.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 4:04pm On Aug 13, 2015
Makes sense. I inferred this without a sauce. I also infer the congratulatory mails will be this month. The processing time after the first test was 2 months, and that for the second test was a month. smiley grin
TheSauce:
As long as you were able to enjoy yourself I believe the feedback will be favorable.

I enjoyed myself at the AC. I really did. Someone else in my group started out as the group leader but I think the guy started dulling my steez and before I knew what was happening I was the group leader grin grin grin . It wasn't intentional but someone just had to ginger the thing na. I believe we did very well also.

Presentation was smooth.

Interview was just a gisting session (only God knows what those assessors kept writing down - they didn't even look up much, just writing and writing)

Fact-finding *sigh* The dictator guy was just mean. Habaa ! But I was able to pick a choice and defend it..which was actually what they needed, your rationale for that choice you picked.

According to information that I think I can rely on (My Sauce), results were compiled and sent to HQ the next day (I had my AC on a Tuesday) which I think is to prevent 'illegal alterations' and bias as much as possible...NEXT !!!

First off, are you in engineering, sciences or arts? As you thinking is suspect. Can you not make informed guesses? This is an enlightened forum, don't bring tribal thinking here.
If the dry dockyard is sited in Bonny, how many ships can it service easily? You guessed it, NLNG ships solely ; not even ones from Onne port. If sited in Lagos, services thousands. Now that's an economic decision. The dockyard will be run as a revenue making entity hence needs maximum traffic to be profitable.
Please reason constructively on this thread because for one reason or the other you will be in a decision making position soon and cannot afford you spewing laced hate it tribal sentiments.
kblaze111:
how can you explain liquefaction in bonny and ship dockyard in lagos.

maybe there is some unseen strategy?
