A website as powerful as it is is a tool for every business, whether physical or not. you don't want to take your business to a greater height easily.

someone who is abroad could hire your company for a job when they come across your website online through search engines or paid ads or even or social media like facebook, twitter and the rest and see that what they need at that time suits them and is what you are offering.

if you don't have a website where even your contact details could be displayed, how will they know your business exist? . we pay millions to google and even to nairaland for adverts, if they do not exist, they can't have the millions they have.

Bro since you know php i think you should start with Cordova, build your app with html, css and JavaScript..build the backend with php.
He is how it works: Mobile App Connects to Backend and the backend searches the db for the request and brings back the response as json
your mobile app gets and displays the json response...
e.g lets say i want to search for a product named Gik you will perform a post request to my php script with Ajax e.g htttp://mywebsite.com/myscript.php?product=gik and the response can be: [{"product_id":"1","name":"Gik"}] ..... just use your JavaScript to get the json......

Am also a wordpress theme developer and a wordpress expert both front end and backend.

what you are seeing is normal when developing a theme to make everything organised.

what has been done is that the theme developer set a 'default' post thumbnail/ featured image for the post incase nothing was set as featured image.

you can remove it this way,

check the wordpress file that has the 'loop', should be the index.php or if 'get_template_part();' was used to get the loop for the post.

you will see

"<?php
if(has_post_thumbail());
the_post_thumbnail();
else
"the default image link you see will be called to load"-----This is the line to remove, and all will be okay as you want it.

Login to you dashboard and check why it was blacklisted, undoing what caused it could make them whitelist it.

Also send a mail to they support for possible ways the domain could be whitelisted.

Use bootstrap 3, put everything in a div with a class of container and the another div with a class of row, you need understand the bootstrap grid too. Also apply the meta view-port in your head, that is between <head></head> of your website.
