Jobs/Vacancies / Re: National Task Force Screening Exercise by dyfatai(m): 5:57pm On Aug 29, 2014
I finally have a platform to share my worries. I believe this National taskforce of a thing is just a decoy by the presidency to regain office in 2015. It is either of these two; to use it as a campaign strategy to claim he provided job for so so million graduates or to amass vote from these recruits. Or, how else will explain a scenerio where thousands of people have been in a programe for over a year without getting paid or worse still, don't know how much they will be paid. I get many things to yarn about, but i'll stop here for now.

.
Why will a prospective employer say a driver must have driven for NGO's before. How is driving for NGO different from driving for other companies?

.
Secondly, it's 6 years experience in this, 5 in that, 4 in this, 8 in that. No single entry level position. Graduates need job to get experience, companies need experience to give u the job.

You shouldn't have said that, even great scholars of our time can't say such. Half knowledge, my brother, is very bad.

mr balash, pls take corrections and stop saying things on which you have no authority

You came here quoting what your Uztaz told you is d reason for polygamy and u cant defend each reason from quran and sunnah.

When you were asked for evidence, u went to 'UZTAZ GOOGLE' to 'cntr+C and cntrl+V', but still you couldnt do justice to d topic.
No be every Tom, Dirk and Harry dey contribute for religion mata oooo, na people with COMPLETE knowledge of the shariah.

I advise you as a brother that it is a great sin to make Haram what Allah has made Halal. Go back to your uztaz and ask him to give you the evidence for all those things u posted up there. #imo lo ladini, ogbon o gbe
oooooo

In islam, if you want to make a point, u make it bi kitab, sunnah and consensus of the Ulamah. Its a grave image to quote your uztaz as he can make mistake or did he receive his own revelation separately #aothubillah.

To cap it up, u are even saying u get ashamed wen ur friends accuse islam of polygamy, therefore you start making excuses for what Allah has made lawful, Subhannallah.

Brother, go and learn about your deen ooo, #o she pataki gan. . Wa salam alaekum.

its okay. dont get me wrong here, we are not at cross roads. That other pple do not embrace polygyny as in Nigerian situation doesnt matter. what you said is not totally wrong but The law of polygyny makes the rule subject to ability of the man to do justice and ability to maintain the wives...now if he likes, he cud take 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 even when each one has been a 'darling'. it doesnt matter. The rule is a gift
Its suprising to see a woman take this kinda stand in a polygamy discussion. Obirin bi tie sowon. I salute ur understanding of the deen sha.

The Messenger of Allah (Mohammad ﺻﻠﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ‎ ) said: “The Pen is

2. an insane man until he comes to his senses;
3. one who is asleep until he wakes up.”

Secondly do you mean becos Christains and non-believer in US doesnt celebrate ur Salah with you that all Christain around the world doesnt? Christains in Nigeria do celebrate Salah with muslim and we celebrate it cos we are thanking God for seeing another Festive Period. Why cant you muslims celebrate Xmas by thanking God for witnessing another Xmas alive and well. You dont need any religious sentiment to celebrate been alive

Islam for Muslims / George And Eid-ul-adha (A Must Read) by dyfatai(m): 10:02pm On Dec 20, 2013
George is an American who is over 50 years old. He lives in
Washington with his wife, his son, and his daughter. When Dhul Hijja was coming near, George and his family started to
follow the news closely to know when Dhul Hijja will start exactly. He watched the TV, his wife listened to the radio, and his son surfed Islamic sites on the internet … everyone eagerly waiting for any news.
When they knew when Dhul Hijja is going to start, they prepared themselves for Eid Al-Adha, which is on the 10th of Dhul Hijja,
following the Day of Arafah on the 9th.The next day, the family drove to the countryside to buy a sheep. They chose the sheep carefully, in accordance with the Islamic guidelines, in order to slaughter it on the first day of Eid. They carried the sheep with them in the car, and on
their way back, the little girl was expressing her joy for the coming
Eid. She told her father: “Oh dad how I love Eid! I’ll get to wear my new dress, play with my new doll, and go out with my friends to thepark. Oh how I wish all the days of the year were Eid!”.

When they got home, the wife told her husband George: "I’ve read that it is
prescribed to divide our sacrifice into three parts: a third we give to the poor and the needy, a third we gift to our neighbours Elizabeth, David and Mark, and a third we eat from and save for the coming
weeks."When the day of Eid came, they were confused where the exact direction of the Qiblah was. They assumed that it’s in a certain direction towards Mecca, and that this should be sufficient.George held the knife, placed the sheep towards the Qiblah and slaughtered it. The wife then divided the meat into three parts as they agreed.

Suddenly, George remembered something and shouted to his family: "We’re late for church! Today is Sunday, and we’ll miss the
Sunday Mass!"George never missed Church on Sunday. Rather, he always made sure to take his wife and children with him.
*****

At that point, the speaker had finished his story about George and his family. One person from the audience exclaimed: "You
confused us with this story of yours!! Is
George a Muslim or a Christian?!"

The speaker, Ahmed, replied: “George and his family are Christian. They do not believe that Allah is One, rather they believe He is the third of three. They also do not believe that Prophet Mohammad –Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him – is the last and final Messenger."Chattering and mumbling erupted among the audience,
and then a voice from the crowd said: "Don’t lie to us Ahmed! Who
would believe that George and his family would do all that and be Christian?! Why would a Christian perform all these rituals of Islam and Muslims? From following the news closely in order to determine the start of Dhul Hijja and the specific day of Eid, to buying a sheep from his own money, and slaughtering it as is prescribed in Islam,
etc."

Ahmed said with a smile on his face: "My beloved brothers, why do you find it so hard to believe my story? Why can’t you believe that such a Christian family exist? Isn’t there in our Muslim countries a
Abdullah, a Mohammed, a Khalid, a Khadija and a Fatima, who celebrate Christian or Jewish Festivals? Don’t we see Muslims
celebrating New Years, Christmas, Valentines, Halloween, Easter,
BIRTHDAYS etc.? Why is this story so surprising then? Why is it that
we don’t see Jews celebrating our Festivals or the Festivals of the Christians?Isn’t it because each one has his own Religion, Beliefs, and has his own Festivals? Why were we so surprised of George being
a Christian who celebrates ourEid, and are refusing of his actions, while at the same time we are not surprised of our own
actions?!”Finally, Ahmed said: “I’ve lived in the U.S. for more than ten years. I swear by Allah, I never saw a Christian or a Jew
celebrating any of our Eids. Neither have I heard any of them asking about our Festivals and Celebrations. Even when I invited them for Eid al-Fitr in my apartment, no one attended when they knew it was a Religious festival. That is what I experienced during my stay in the
West.

On this thread, some pple have said that born again CANNOT sin, but they av in one way or the other commited sin.

One has said, they can sin but needed 2 seek for forgiveness ceaselessly(seems dis youngman is a catholic)

Others av competely sidestepped d question, reason being that they call themselves born again but they couldnt resist d occasional bottles of Alch, bleepin of girls, d clubs, cheating, backbiting etc................... This group, to me, are being realistic

The final group are working relentlessly to defend wot dey believe in. Agreeing d@ born again can sin will be a slap on christianity and make dem unlike 'christ'. .......................These are potential theologians.

Even Anaochuku1 started with long epistle abot infallability, but Alhamdulillah, @ some point, he agreed d@ he got blood running thru his veins .

All in all, i expected a consensus of answer from u gentlemen because d idea of salvation is d most fundamental teaching in ur religion. If by now, u are still aving a difference of opinion, dont u think dere is something wrong somewhere??

Pls, ponder on dis points and reply with wisdom.

Thanks.
