njokusboy: No I won't, forget the English... most people won't care about it... people who don't stay here would automatically assume dis is what happens in Naija..
Isn't it? 50years from now it might fade off but for now a good number of scenarios point to the highlighted facts.

I do hope you stop beating yourself up over this matter. It's funny.

njokusboy: The point is dat articles like this paint a terrible image of Nigeria...
Ask the lady above you how many of these things her parents told her...
That is what makes up the 'EXAGGERATION' in the definition of SATIRE.

Don't be a spoiler. Just flow cool
FamilyRe: How To Be A Nigerian Woman By Elnathan John by Dygeasy(m): 6:41pm On Sep 14, 2014
As much as I am a guy and most of the things highlighted do not apply to me nor do I not frown at them when I see them happening, the sarcarsm and satire is duly noted. True ladies are fighting hard against these things these days but it is infact the real picture.

Our parents were major actors, even young people. So I'd rather lean towards the truth-unearthing part of the article. It is not fatuous at all.

tintingz: So wearing pink clothes is what Nigerian women are trained to put on everyday?

I can't believe some people fall for this crap article.

There are main problems women are facing in Nigeria societies but not this article written by a pussified feminist.

OP, you have no yardstick for comparison which makes this thread pointless.

I'm asking a question. A not very difficult question for the deep-rooted religious individuals.
Christianity EtcMen Of God And Political Aspiration. by Dygeasy(op): 5:56am On Sep 14, 2014
In this part of the world, I am not sure of other places, we now have "Men of God" seeking political posts. An example is the General Overseer of HOUSEHOLD OF GOD Ministries, Rev. Chris Okotie who more than once has contested for the presidential post under a party he created himself, FRESH PARTY. Even my neighbour whose church blares its speakers directly into my room is contesting for a seat in his state's house of assembly.

Now the question is, how does this justify the fact that God instructed these people to do his work? (I may be wrong)

If Rev. Chris Okotie had won the presidential election, would he have on sundays mounted the altar and performed his pastorial duties? Or would he have entirely abandoned God's work or merely put it on hold for the duration of his tenure as president? What exactly is the rationale behind this?
