The emboldened is quite detailing. The moment one begin to view religion logically and apply rational reasoning they begin to understand the chicanery and wiles on which it's founded on. To my understanding and has witnessed by the swarms you are confronted with since you mentioned you've lost touch with last time you prayed and practice your religion, there seem to be this vindication anyone who doesn't attend churches/mosque is evil and/or immoral while those who invade religious buildings are pure and sanctimonious. One wonders if the journey to everlasting felicity and paradise is premise on how often one prays to God and ecclesiastical rather than their personal actions and lifetime decisions.

I have nothing against islam or any other religion. Never did. Never saw it as inhumane and that I was or you were born in a particular religion is an accident of life. It's no gift. We all only had to adapt to our environment.

I've only failed to see what good religion which is itself an invention of man has done to mankind. Once again I have nothing against any religion and I'm on the side of the divide that believes in the existence of God. Will you even believe I just got back in from the mosque for the 8pm prayers? And I prayed with drunkards,womanizers and unrepentant hypocrites who suddenly have become saints cos of the season we're in and everyone is gonna hail them because they're poster images of the religion cos they practice it in act and they bear Islamic names. Can you please throw more light on what you mean by a liberal religionist?. Can liberalism and religion co-exist?. And how?.

Let me give an instance here; liberal Christians/Muslims reject concepts of Biblical/Quran inspiration. They view the Bible/Quran as a collection of books written by men, some virtuous and inspired, others not so much. They see concepts in the Bible that violate religious and secular ethics for example mass murders and genocides; oppression of women; acceptance of human slavery; torture of prisoners, war crimes, rape, execution of religious and sexual minorities; polygamy, owning of concubines, burning some prostitutes alive; executing brides who were not virgins, etc. Are they really Christians/Muslims if they hold only to what Christ/Prophet Mohammed TAUGHT, rejecting much of what biblical writers has to say?. How do you react to this?.

I mean I hold no strong religious views. I can worship God whichever way I please and still live rightly. And I also do not believe in having religion come as a barrier in certain instances.


I don't usually feel comfortable saying I'm a Muslim or going about quoting religious verses when I know fully well, it's been long I really prayed in a mosque or the Muslim way. I'd be even more comfortable if we scrapped religion entirely.

Its not a new rule. In fact the rule has been there since 2013. It is our own way of deciding alternate accounts by means of how active these accounts are. We don't have access to users' IP addresses so we had to device a means.

1.Irrespective of who could have won and who actually won, they seem to me jokes of Presidents. As long as we have unserious men in Aso Rock, Biko Haram is here to stay.

2. Unity is one important thing we need in Nigeria right now. I wouldn't subscribe to anything contrary.

1. You LIVE to survive, sleep, wakeup, eat, browse the internet and do other basic things as allowed by the present circumstances but you EXIST to be felt by every entity around you. Does the air around even feel your existence by how much of it you draw into you? There is existence.

2. Most embarrassing moment? There have been numerous ones and I can't pick out one exactly but I still remember a day I walked up to a girl on my street and she refused to answer me. It was during my first few weeks as a registered user on Nairaland. I didn't feel embarrassed by the fact that this girl didn't answer me but I got back home and then created a thread on Nairaland about it asking the question WHY? As in WHY on earth would a girl refuse to respond to me cos I walked up to her. You can guess the rest of the story na . I received the bashing of my life. The thread even made front page..lol! Asides that and a few negligible others, I hardly get into tight compromising fixes.


3. LoL. Seriously? Sex is a private thing. As long as its making love, every uncomfortable events should be overlooked.

1. Truth be told I don't know. How man came into existence is a subject of debate between the religious folks and scientists so it's more of a mystery than what one can just point out as the reason why the hymen is there. Even if God put it there I have no idea why. He has always left us to figure things out ourselves anyway and apparently we have figured out a theory already. VIRGINITY! But to me I think it's more like a seal on a new product - the only way to ascertain its newness and we have come to attach so much importance to this seal to identify with physical sexual virginity so its a cliche thing.

2. Religion obviously. In other cases self-worth which is a more worthy cause in my honest opinion.

3. Extremely backward-minded individuals. You can't make me happy if you can't think progressively.
