Despite all d tromatic times, we r still standing. Many had evrytin working for them this year, but some of them like my colleague died (yesterday), he had prospects nd big plans 4 2014 but they all died yesterday but for us, d sun is not yet set, we hav hop, we av a future, We r still moving 4wd, We r still healthy evn wt d tromatic situation. Our best days r ahead of us, things will only get better.

Evn if there is no update on PSC site but at least d texts nd emails should arrive 2day considering d 2 weeks preparation period (especially dis festive season).

If I understand u properly (to mean no update, no text, no email), den dis is so demoralizing...... It's not a way 4ward.

If u ask me, I'l say dis is bullshit!! I just hope it's a joke. At first it was october, wen d day came close, they changed it to december which we've been looking 4wd to. Now they date is quite close nd we've bn in high spirit, they want to change it agn, haba!! Wat sort of attitude is dis coming 4rm a security agency who is suppose to b prompt in their actions. If u ask me, I feel the PSC/NPF, or may b just the NPF should by now on this recruitment realise they r failing in their responsibilities. After 15 months, they r still having meetings nd still yet to conclude on this matter. This is a big SHAME. No 1 should hold brief 4 them pls.

We hav bn hearing "SOON" since January, till nw we r stil getting the same story. I now begin wonder what the true definition of "SOON" in dis contest is. May b these "SOONs" should b defined relative to time but in my own view, we've heard enough of it. Wen u go to PSC to inquire, they wil tell u "SOON", u call sources, they'l tell u "SOON", the sources r evn tired of picking calls again.

It's evident, there was no proper planning, no project based approach, No proactive measures, no stractegy. The meetings being held now should hav bn held long long ago, nd d ppl responsible ar possibly stil sitting in big offices, earning fat salaries, nd doing little or nothing. The worst is dat they r not evn talking to us, not evn 1 press release since then. They r so insensitive.

Hmmmm, may b these r possible reasons y d police is d way it is in d eyes of the public.

Well, av said a lot, but am sure our GOD wnt rest nd wnt let them rest until they hav settled us. But let's bear it in mind that if tins continue like dis we will hav to speak more nd louder, as loud as we can for help to come. Ur on point. Its just a temporal solution. To get a permanent solution, we need serious grassroot intelligence gathering. We need more intelligence now than force.
The security agencies especially d police has to go bak to d days of CIDs nd Crack police units dat used intelligence nd undercover operations to trace crime nd criminals without evn having any close contact with them rather than using torture as they mostly do 2day.
Doing this, most of these criminal nd terrorist group can be dislodged at their prematured state.

Also must of our criminal laws needs to b changed. There has to b stiffer penalties for these crimes.

Our politicians must be sincere in fighting corruption wch is d bedrock of all these.

All Our govt agencies expencially those corruption nd violent crimes nd crime againt violation of human rights must b free from political influences, strong nd honest in the discharge of their duties.

Our judiciary must b truely independent nd our judges sincere nd corrupt free.

Finally we (all nigerians) must b honest, selfless nd bear true allegence to our nation. Selfcenteredness is our major problem. We must strive to overcome it.

Its not a day's job but wth God, we'll get there.
