Selected candidates, other than specialists, will be required to undergo 18 months intensive and strenuous training course at the Police Academy, Kano. Specialists will undergo 6 months course. The course demands a very high standard of physical and mental ability. The training and subsequent practical work will be interesting and excellent facilities for games, athletics and other forms of recreation will be available. On successful completion of the course, candidates will be advanced to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police on probation. Any candidate who fails the end-of-course examination or whose conduct at any time during the course is considered unsatisfactory will have his appointment terminated.

Info reaching me now from a reliable source is dat before on the 15th of May they will fix d date, training venue and publish it in a daily trust newspaper. PSC is working now towards it as the DIG 'G' Dept (ICT ) complaining bitterly so they have liased with 'E' Dept (training ) to produce all the facilities need at training venue ...
