franktech: It is mostly igbos that are in Lagos and they do not want Tinubu out of jealousy. You don't understand how these things work This is why you are a failed PR person for Tinubu. Igbos, next Ipob, then Nnamdi Kalu, then Peter Obi, and you would have succeeded in derailing your own thread. No one takes you seriously. |

Throwback: But the Supreme Court only returned to him his cancelled votes, which obviously made him the winner of the election and the choice of the people who cast those votes.
And he proved it again by winning the highest votes to secure re-election. Those were fake cancelled votes. Imo state knows who he is; a supreme court criminally imposed governor. His budget 204%, because he is making payments to Just. Kekere for her verdict. |

flokii: @OP Are you just realizing that the Agulu packaged fraud is a bigot?.. the dude isn't even hiding his bigotry. I've pointed it out several times here but it's like most Nigerians don't pay attention to detail. You see the problem with Igbos generally is that they look at everything from tribal lens, they won't ever take responsibility for their actions and won't see wrong in what other Igbos do. They'll readily cover one another up not minding the offence committed. It's the reason they are all demanding for Kanu's release as if FG just picked a random Igbo man from the streets and sent him to jail. They just don't know when to stop their bigotry and victim mentality (no offence intended).
Don't be surprised that the 'gbaju e' man won't condemn the erring Igbo lawmaker but let any news come from South West or North and see the m0fo rush to drop criticism on X. Dear assistant minister of Peter Obi affairs, the slapping issue has been condemned by all and sundry, including Igbos. Unfortunately, your ministerial duties overshadow your common sense which tells you that investigation is still going on in the incident that happened yesterday. I beg greet Reno as you work hard to find something to complain about PO. |
Politics › Re: ECA/SWF: How Asiwaju Allies Laid Foundation For Economic Mess! by eagleu: 3:50am On Oct 29, 2024 |
Bigkoko: You missed the point, let me explain it more clearly.
Buhari is clueless but not do dumb. Asiwaju is dumber. Buhari if fixated on sell X barrels of oil, have X dollars, spend X amounts. Even a toddler can do that!
Now, on the intricate complexities involving a modern economy who option B is borrowing, Buhari has no idea. Option A is fiscal policy and responsibilities. Buhari choose Option B, instead of Option A.
How did we arrive at the situation? This became Nigeria situation when Asiwaju won't allow a sitting president working with people of goodwill from Bretton Woods institution to implement far reaching reforms. He typically led other people to harass them.
Not done, Asiwaju led a group of govnors to make sure the ECA/SWF accounts are depleted and shared! This was what could have helped Buhari mitigate some economic disasters!
Buhari foolishly pointed at GEJ because of the role Asiwaju & SW played to help him win.... But he knew the facts that's why he hates Asiwaju like Satan.
If you understand above, you will see the role the old grandpa in Aso Rock played! When you said, Buhari "foolishly " Iaughed, because you don't understand the degree of Buhari's cunning, a religious training on how to deceive others; go check it out. Buhari, according to El Rufai never passed any standard exam in his life, not even WAEC, but see how far he went by lying, cheating, and deceiving others. There's no question Tinubu helped him saddle the horse, so did Amaechi, and other stupid and shortsighted governors. How did Buhari pay them back? By filling every reasonable position with his own people only. Another, master stroke of Buhari was elevation of Igbo hatred to a level never seen since the civil war, but check what else he was doing at the same time? Importing Armed Fulani herdsmen to take over Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: ECA/SWF: How Asiwaju Allies Laid Foundation For Economic Mess! by eagleu: 3:28am On Oct 29, 2024 |
A great joke for making excuses for the grand architect of this disaster, Buhari. Yes Tinubu helped him like a flight engineer would help a pilot, but this whole rapid sink to the abyss in Nigeria was thanks to Buhari, the president who loved his ancestral tribal home of Niger republic more than the Nigerians he swore to rule and protect. Buhari damaged this country for good 8 years, and his whole focus was dividing the country along ethnic and religious lines when his officers were not busy carting away our commonwealth, he was busy pointing fingers at GEJ or Igbos while rapidly importing armed Fulani herdsmen from other countries to quickly to take over the fertile plains of Benue/plateau, and the Niger basin. You sorely missed the point without including Buhari as the major cancer this nation has suffered this decade. |

Politics › Re: When Is Gowon Going To Write A Book? by eagleu: 3:25am On Oct 22, 2024 |
MightySparrow: If you were in his shoes you would understand better. Igbos and the north were political friends while West played opposition. He was facing a threat from his political friend and another from Awolowo who wanted a secession without shedding the blood of his people. If you were such a leader, would you want the nation to disintegrate like that? Tinubu, our current president once said he didn't believe in Nigeria. Now, as the president, would he wish the nation to scatter? I don't think so.
Aburi truce was between the two warring sides and it didn't solve the problem in its totality. He had to choose the easiest way out, which was war
Mind you,he is a soldier. He thinks like a. military man not a civilian. So, when you people criticize, think about the man also
Tinubu is punishing us now for his economic life policy as an accountant, who believe in saving money and having value for money. Whatever his reasons I need food on my table. Yet he sticks to his policy. Na sọ my brother. The igbos should allow the dead dog to lie and do reasonable politicking. The last election showed that something great is in the about to happen. Rather than igbos abusing everybody, especially yorubas, it is easier to get the presidency through the three southern, geopolitical zones and Christian middle belt than aligning with the north. For now, the north doesn't want a Igbo president. You made some points, but the overall point is when does an accord become an accord? Until approved by Britain? |

Thiefobi1: Members agree that the legislative and executive authority of the Federal Military Government should remain in the Supreme Military Council, to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination provided that where it is possible for a meeting to be held the matter requiring determination must be referred to military governors for their comment and concurrence.
Specifically, the council agreed that appointments to senior ranks in the police, diplomatic, and consular services as well as appointment to superscale posts in the federal civil service and the equivalent posts in the statutory corporation must be approved by the Supreme Military Council.
The regional members felt that all the decrees passed since January 15, 1966, and which detracted from previous powers and positions of regional governments, should be repealed if mutual confidence is to be restored. Sounds good sir, but why didn't he even sign that? Revisionism, denying history and outright myopic lies are the reasons why Nigeria is worse off today that before the war. You are contributing to our backwardness with these lies. Yesterday it was Igbos, today its middle belt, and surely it will be Yoruba turn tomorrow. |

But he won't, because the extorting officers at checkpoints make returns to ogas on top in the office. He doesn't sound serious at all. He's focused on his "name" not on the serious crimes the police are committing all over the country. |
