Nigeria doesn't print dollar. Yes, you can exhaust all our foreign reserve to chase the dollar, the Emefiele way, but basic economic teaches that until we start producing more for foreign markets and reduce our consumption of the dollar, the demand will remain high. |
PHIPEX:This one weak me too. What's the need for the government house visit? Except to divert attention and make some money on the heads of the children? |
Mr. Lia, master of fake news now complaining about fake news? |
Crazy MAGA campaign to Nigerians? |
When you say foreigners committing crimes in Nigeria, everyone thinks about Fulani herdsmen from Niger republic and Mali. It maybe another reason for the vigorous attack on Akpabio. |
sunnyprof:Now, you sound like Onanuga! There's no reason to attack the army. The people who attacked the army were not the innocent and helpless villagers murdered the army in reprisal attack. The correct approach and the civilized approach is to carefully investigate, arrest, and try all the people directly and indirectly involved in killing our beloved Nigerian army soldiers. No where is it permitted to wipe out a whole community, just because of the action of some criminals, unless you assume, which is where Onanuga got it wrong that the whole community is responsible for the deadly action. Like someone said, the army didn't wipe out a whole section of Lagos just because Murtala Mohammed was assassinated there and they couldn't immediately find Dimka. Will this happen in Kaduna, Sokoto or Katsina? No, because the average soldier from the north has a low opinion of the life worth of an average southerner. So, it's easy to burn and destroy whole communities, as if you are burning bushes while hunting rabbits in the forest. The CO of this army brigade has questions to answer now or later. |
Puss360:State viability is not based on land mass like empty deserts and savanna, but by people, yes human beings! Compare Rhodes Island with Montana and you will understand why human beings determine size of states all over the world except Nigeria. |
blacknp:Childish diversion of the topic to Obi, how convenient? When Nigerians because of tribal or religious persuasion promote injustice in one part of the country, it eventually reaches them. Think about it--- religious intolerance was initially meted out to Igbos, today everyone feels it. Kidnapping started like a joke in the north, today it's a booming national industry. The Nigerian army shooting and destroying whole communities of tax payers they vow to protect was tolerated when Igbos were victims, then Odi happened, today its Okuama, tomorrow it maybe Ado Ekiti. It has become normalized by fulltime sycophants like you. |
Haba! Onanuga will not like this denial, he was just saying how the whole community conspired to kill soldiers and even refused to investigate. Did the government suddenly realise that wiping out a whole community of people because of someone's evil deeds is uncivilized? BTW, where are the Yoruba guys justifying this atrocity now? |
VinnyBaba:While Asari is waiting for appointment as NNDC boss, not knowing that Yorubas never get full. After they get, then it might reach him. |
Visagemedia:In 2024, the only occasion students are expected to fill a hall to this capacity is during say an inauguration lecture by the dean or the university president. We need classroom sizes of 20 to 30 students no matter what level. |
id4sho:When they do, the authorities preach and plead for a thorough investigation. But when it happens in SE and SS, they simply say "massacre everybody in sight " |
Tbagwell80:The teacher: student ratio looks really bad, and for a modern university too? |
Nigerian soldiers attacked and some killed in Niger state, the governor took it upon himself to warn and caution the army to do proper investigation and not resort to mass killings. Same thing happened in Katsina when their "beloved " bandits killed some soldiers. The elders demanded a proper investigation instead of mass killing and destruction of the whole community. When similar things happen in SE or SS, the army always resort to the lazy option of annihilating the entire community. RIP to the dead soldiers, but the army authorities show their deadly bias again. |
Where's the Nigerian army? |
I am sure Ruby will be better off not being associated with this failing administration. However, to stop a Nigerian from occupying a national position because of political, tribal, or religious affiliations is ironical for those calling for unity, "all hands on board", or get the strongest candidate any time. Did Tinubu learn anything from Buhari's failures? |
Can someone take the illiterate president to a room and explain the laws of demand and supply as explained by A O Lawal in his high school economics textbook? Everyday, evidence of lack of basic education rears its ugly head among our policy makers. We all know about his high school education and that Chicago state university stuff. |
Emekaonline:Not sure what you are yapping about. However, and even if that's true, when did 2 wrongs begin to make a right? I like every senator out there, no matter tribe to systematically disprove what Ningi is saying with documents and figures. Not threats and innuendos. |
malali:God bless Senator Ningi for his courage. Nigeria needs more senators like him. |
God bless Abdul Ningi! I am impressed by his efforts to debate the budget, and open the can of worms, our eyes. Jimoh Ibrahim is a disgrace, calling for the arrest of a fellow senator with a different opinion. That's the reason for being a legislator: to debate. and not harass fellow legislator. Let them debate the facts before us, threaten each other. Anyway, Ningi has shown that corruption starts from the top in Nigeria. |
Miyetti should ask Tinubu to arrest herdsmen first. |
Op, You are quite correct! As armed herdsmen chase unarmed farmers from Katsina to Benue, to Akure, and Ebonyi, the federal government feigned ignorance of the real cause of shortages in food supply. Who is fooling who? |
NaijaPrince18:Who is a New Yorker? |
Good luck to Aba. Next, expect religious and tribal interference to kill the project through the back door with federal government policies. Yes, this is Nigeria where water flows against gravity. |
What has BDC operators got to do with management of our fiscal policies? They're just traders relying on market forces!. |
Anyone who says anything unsavory about Tinubu gets a shake down from his hired internet crew as if that will change the price of garri. |
Haaaaaah This thread is dedicated to attacking Obi, and offer solutions to the current clueless APC government. Bwala has to join the long line of irrational paid commentators working for Tinubu in order to divert attention from his failing administration. Reno wants to make sure Bwala is behind him in the long sycophantic line. |
God bless this Yoruba woman for her courage! I see how urchins are trying to call her Igbo, IPOB, and even change the topic to PO. I hope you buy a bag of cement, rice or gari cheap when you go to shop. |
Where was this stupid sultan when Buhari was killing this country? |
Goodnewsforlife:Are you still here defending Buhari? |
Where does it show that Otti spend 1.5b naira on 2 vehicles? The table showed a lot expenses, which one was for 2 cars? Why are Yoruba muslims focused on Otti's success, I guess he is a pathway to attack Obi and LP. |
Sadly, this confirms the speculation that the supreme court is indeed a part of the presidency. |
