bloodyBLOGGER: because a person says he's not hungry doesn't mean he isn't.
We all know the reverse psychology they are trying to play. They are also trying to blackmail Nigerians into giving them the presidency. What they failed to understand is that other regions never blackmailed Nigerians before getting there, at least not with the use of secession clamour.
The SS wanted their right and got compensated with GEJ. Their struggle wasn't all about secession.
IPOB claiming they don't want the presidency is a lie one can only tell to toddlers. In a few months time, watch how their grievances will shift to lack of federal presence, from which they'll start to clamour openly for 2019 which is a pipe dream. Mind you, Ohanaeze has said APC should field okorcha while PDP should field Ekeweremadu .
Which major tribe will vote for an ibo president after getting insults from their people? Biafra is just a move toescape their political blunders. If you don't know IPOD is sponsored by PDP elements, then you need to grow up. DecemberIV: Cheap reverse psychology. Who offered them presidency in the first place? These guys are subliminally stating their desires, and setting an agenda for the phantom negotiations they are lobbying for. As usual, they will be ignored. If they want Presidency, there's no problem but they must work for it, nobody and I mean nobody will hand Ndigbo the presidency on a silver platter. They must seek repentance and alliances. Diplomacy or nothing. ibedun: Exactly!!! Why not conduct referendum in Igboland for Igbos to choose between Presidency and Secession to prove your point. |

How did the presidency of OBJ and Jonathan help the SW and SS people.?
The least we Igbos want is not presidency but True Federalism.
We want to control our resources to dredge all our rivers and build an industrialized society.
We want state police to protect our people
In short, we want the implementation of aburi accord and ahiara declaration. |

Politics › Re: The Rich Must Pay Tax To Sustain N18, 000 Minimum Wage– Oshiomhole Says by EasternLeopard: 10:25pm On Dec 09, 2015 |
For Nigeria to speed up her economic development, she must increase minimum wage to 36000 naira and restore all allowances that were stopped.
Our individual spendings, savings, business creation/expansion and investments must increase to boost our economy
And one way we can achieve this , is through better salary package and lower interest rate. |

Politics › Re: Landlocked Countries With High Success Rates In The World by EasternLeopard: 9:01pm On Dec 09, 2015 |
joseph1832: Since you have the technology why haven't you dredged them? And also, since you have the resources to acquire billions of dollars why haven't you acquired it and use it to develop your state?
Can you compare any eastern to Lagos state? Reality bro. Make friends with it. First and foremost Lagos was the capital of Nigeria Therefore don't use her as a standard Rather use Ibadan. As for dredging, since we are not in charge of our resources, it will be difficult to finance such a project. |

joseph1832: Did you ask yourself if those four rivers are deep enough for ships to sail through? Or how much it will cost a new country like Biafra who doesn't even a currency of purchasing power to dredge it?
Think oh bros. Abeg think well well. It is a shame you think Igbos don't have resources to acquire dollars to finance the dredging of these rivers Why do you think we champion true federalism Besides we have the indigenous technology to dredge those rivers NEVER UNDERESTIMATE WE IGBOS |

The problem with most people on NL is that they are not exposed to international happenings
Igboland has 4 major rivers linking her to the sea eg Niger Otamiri Orashi and Azumini

engrfcuksmtin: In my establishment, responsibility and Conference allowance have been stopped for the past 3months. Also there are some other legitimate allowances and funds stopped without proper communication and clarification. Decent hardworking individuals who supported Baba are groaning as a result of the stoppage in the allowances. Their is rumour (God forbid) going around that Baba may likely pay only basic salary to Federal workers by 2016 and other components of the salary (Rent and so on) may be stopped. If u want to commit suicide; come to my organization and shout Sai Baba. Thank you Unfortunately seunmsg is still a student being fed by his parents |

I see Nigerians are western slaved mentally and so can't appreciate our strength but we keep focusing on foreigners to come fix our weaknesses Remain bless for this point Yet we must encourage foreign car factories alongside ours |
