Sapiosexuality:What's the difference between Geos, EMDs and brandable domains? Can you explain please? |
This question has become very critical and needs to be answered. It's either the so-called freedom fighters have totally lost it or are now being used by enemies of ndigbo to destroy Igboland. In the history of freedom fighting, this is the first time I'm seeing freedom fighters destroying those they claim to be fighting for. History recorded freedom fighters like the ANC in South Africa and their armed wing. When their leader Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, they didn't burn assets of Black South Africans they were fighting for and neither did they kill or destroy their economy instead they went after the Whites who were responsible and kept fighting until they triumphed. When John Garang and his men were fighting for the independence of South Sudan, he didn't impose harsh treatment on their people. He didn't attack them or destroy their economy but instead they courageously went after the Arabs. John Garang kept fighting until his helicopter was shot down. His men carried on until they brought world attention and a referendum was granted to them which led to their independence. They won! I can go on to list several other groups both in Africa and globally who fought against oppression, non of them turned their guns on the people they were fighting for. However, I have been trying to understand the logic, sense or rational in what is currently going on in Igboland. For starters, it wasn't SE governors that arrested Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya! It isn't SE governors that are holding Nnamdi Kanu in detention in Abuja! It wasn't Igbos that betrayed Nnamdi Kanu, if anything the group had enjoyed enormous support because the people largely believed they were fighting a good fight. I don't know what goes on in the mind of those killing innocent people in the name of maintaining sit-at-home or what goes on in their mind when they go to local government secretariats to burn them down. What do these hope to achieve with all these killings and destruction they're bringing on Igboland? Are they making use of their brains at all? It's obvious that if it's within the power of SE governors, they would have since released Nnamdi Kanu. Federal government used extraordinary rendition to bring Nnamdi Kanu back to Nigeria and has been holding them hostage but instead of going after the perpetrators, they turned around to attack helpless and innocent Igbos. Can someone explain this to me? Is it that they're afraid to confront FG or they lack the resources to do so? Is this a case of cowardice? I can wager a bet that those who arrested Nnamdi Kanu must be having a good laugh now. I mean why won't they, when they're using one stone to kill 3 birds at once: 1. Silence Nnamdi Kanu. 2. Turn Igbos against themselves. 3. Watch us destroy ourselves by ourselves. Believe me, Buhari would have no incentive to release Kanu when they consider what is happening in Igboland. They would only bid their time and allow nature take care of itself, after all they have nothing to lose. However, the biggest losers here are both IPOB and Igbos. This brings me back to the question, who is Simon Ekpa and the so-called autopiloters fighting for? Believe me, no normal person who loves Igbos/Igboland would be happy to see what is going on. So after forcing Igbos to lose billions of naira in the name of sit-at-home, after burning all the local government secretariats, after killing innocent people whose only offense was to seek daily bread, after chasing all investors away and Buhari ignores, then what next? Is it not common sense that Abuja/the central government is far removed from what is happening in Igboland and doesn't care. If truly these people desire to get federal government attention, they will take all these actions to Abuja. IPOB must understand that they're not the first agitators and from the looks of things, won't be the last. You guys have totally taken Igbos for granted and playing everyone for a fool but you must remember that if these attrocities continue, you would eventually be recognized as a terrorist group by not just the federal government but by all Igbos and international bodies and once that happens, it would be game over. This is the scenario those in support of fulani take over of Nigeria is hoping for. At this point, they would now unleash the army on you and you won't have any hiding place because the Igbos you oppressed so much would be the ones pointing out your hiding places. Let's not get it twisted, what is currently going on is no longer freedom fighting but banditry and crimes against humanity. You all have lost focus but it's not too late to change course now! |
farem:Who are those interviewing this fat pig? Of all the millions of intellectuals in Nigeria they didn't interview but this uneducated fool? SMH! |
omenkaLives:See what this old man wrote without any shame. Body of a 50 years old, mindset of a 10 years old ![]() |
Resurrection212:Whoever wrote this didn't complete primary school, no pun intended!! Dude, if I'm your parents, I will sue all the schools you attended and also arrest your teachers if indeed you went beyond primary school. I earn hundreds of dollars monthly as a writer, proofreader and editor working for professionals yet a dumbo thinks he can insult me ![]() |
Resurrection212:Lol, this one has mental problem. If you're educated, you would have pointed out the errors in what I wrote but you didn't only to write trash. Imagine an illiterate who can't properly use punctuation marks, can't even put tenses correctly and doesn't even know that writing in caps is wrong These are the ones Tinubu made useless ![]() |
Mooh247:You're only decieving yourself, this post has nothing to do with tribe nor ethnicity. Bad governance affects everyone regardless of ethnicity or religion. Even educated and sane Yorubas living in Lagos know that what I said are pure facts. They too are suffering it alongside everyone else. So stop trying to use tribalism to obfuscate the truth! |
To the educated and sane Yorubas as well as other Nigerians living in Lagos, please come and air your opinion. You can't be suffering in silence yet the culprit who he is responsible is going about insulting our sensibilities. |
EastisBae:@seunmsg, as one of the online Tinubu warriors, I expect you to counter these facts with superior argument instead of crying. |
seunmsg:Shut up and answer the question please! You are the bigot here because I didn't attack Yorubas and neither did I insult them here, I only exposed the heist going on in Lagos. I expect you to counter me with facts instead of playing to the gallery. Truth hurts, so deal with it! |
There is a saying that when a lie is told severally, it will begin to look like the truth. Tinubu online urchins have been desperately lying to decieve gullible Nigerians about how tinubu made Lagos great but today, we would separate facts from fiction and truth from wicked propaganda. Tinubu has made Lagos worse than it ordinarily should have been if he hadn't pressed his arthritis ridden leg on their necks. I will explain! 1. Lagos has always been the richest state in Nigeria since beginning of states. Even today, Lagos is still richer than all states in Nigeria including Abuja! Yet all these monies being generated in Lagos that should have been used in developing the state has been cornered by one man, his family and cronies! Lagos has been ranking as the second worst city to live in the world, back-to-back! 2. Cities that are same size with Lagos in Africa and generate same amount of revenue or even less all have better roads, good sanitation, pipe borne water, monorails and far better transportation system. Examples are Nairobi, Adis Ababa, Cairo, Rabat, J.bourg, Dar es Salam etc. However, in Lagos, most citizens particularly on the mainland live side-by-side with dirt and filth, most of them make use of unhealthy salty water in their homes because pipe borne water is non-existent, they wake up as early as 4 am in the morning only to return home at midnight daily because of terrible traffic nightmare they suffer! Tinubu never did anything significant to change this deplorable situation for the 8 years he ruled between 1999 and 2007. His hand-picked puppets weren't able to do anything as well because he remained in control of Lagos State affairs till today. Tax is paid through his company and of course he can only remit what he feels like to the Lagos State government while he pockets the rest. His sons, daughters and cronies are also in control of every other strategic revenue generating sector in Lagos thereby effectively making Lagos his private estate since 1999! 3. Tinubu met a Lagos State that was already the most industrialized and most developed in Nigeria. Housing oil companies headquarters, embassies, seaports, airports, bank and insurance headquarters, federal government agencies and virtually almost everything of economic worth was already domiciled in Lagos before he became governor. So what significant thing exactly has tinubu done to improve the fortunes of Lagos? 4. Tinubu and his hordes of agberos both online and offline will claim that tinubu increased the IGR of Lagos from 1kobo to 1billion dollars. Now, ask them, what has he done with the money in improving Lagos? Why would he tax businesses to death only to steal the money in bullion vans? Of course, it would be easy to tax businesses in Lagos since it has always been the political and later economic capital of Nigeria yet those paying the tax can't point to what their hard-earned monies are being used for. Ask 100 Lagosians if they are happy with the situation in Lagos and not less than 90 will tell you no! Most Lagosians will happily run away from Lagos if there income is assured. 5. Lagos was already a developed state when tinubu took over in 1999 and has continued to rule Lagos by proxy ever since yet other states in Nigeria have been able to build mega infrastructures since the same period. Akwa Ibom has built a massive stadium, airport, airline, highways and bridges etc. But when it comes to Lagos, tinubu and his online urchins will start listing private sector investments like Dangote refinery and the rest. Lagos is richer than many countries in Africa yet it can't boast of any significant public infrastructure except the ones built in the 1970's. Why? Because one man is busy primitively stealing and accumulating wealth he can't be able to finish nor his children to the fifth generation! So when tinubu online urchins are fed with utter lies and propaganda to decieve the public, I only shake my head because Tinubu is the worst thing to happen to Lagos State. In saner climes, such a criminal would be in prison but here we are having our sensibilities assaulted by him, telling us he wants to rule Nigeria.

NASTYNASOSO:Lol, shameless slaves!!! This same tinubu will go to the palace of yoruba obas and stand with pee and poo stained agbada to address them only to visit North and kneel down before their oba like a slave. Shameless and disgusting slaves!!! Anyways, the North is not fooled after all Obasanjo did same thing only to become a lion after getting power. Already, tinubu has tendencies of usurping everything under his control like he has done in the SW, if given the opportunity to rule Nigeria, he will do worse than Obasanjo did to North. All these shenanigans will end in premium tears for him. |
Mumu man. Where are you going to get the votes from? Who will vote for you, Igbos? Yorubas? Hausas? This clown should go and rest, wasting Rivers State money is different from winning presidential election. |
Nice investment. |
Wisedove:You Yorubas can be quite funny, granted you may be different but majority of your people aren't. We were all here in nairaland during the first tenure of Buhari and saw how Yorubas kept supporting the Nigerian army each time they killed Igbo protesters or made them to swim in muddy water. You all kept chanting new sheriff is in town! They should kill them all. Igbos should call FIFA, CAF and whatever! You guys never believed there was a common enemy but now karma has turned full circle and all the bad things that were wished on Igbos started happening on Yorubas, you all began to sing a different tune. Well, the boat has sailed off! Every region should fend for itself because there is nothing like "One South" has never been and will never be! Go and read about what happened to Bosnians and prepare because winter is coming! Lest I forget, your region is the most vulnerable in Southern Nigeria because Fulanis already have cells surrounding your villages. Through Islam, they would be able to penetrate, divide and conquer you. |
![]() Chai, imagine soldiers flogging those claim to be safeguarding SW. As in flogging them like school children that misbehaved ![]() Herdsmen too dey always use them shine woto woto ![]() Even police too, because the last time they arrested a herdman and took him to a police station, the leader of the Amotekun team was shot in the leg ![]() I pity all these guys claiming to be Amotekun because I would rather be a member of boys scouts ![]() So na these ones go save their people? No wonder why many are now permanent residents in Benin republic IDP camps ![]() |
tollyboy5:Stop posting rubbish! What do you expect when you zoom those tiny dots of light in the SW? You can only have a true picture of it when you watch entire country at once, because it would enable you to use cities/regions against each other as yardstick! Educated people indeed ![]() |
tollyboy5:Even your lies about being educated is another fake propaganda to decieve the gullible ones. SW is currently not doing better than the North in terms of education and your post here, just like others from your region already shows that. Can't you read a map? Don't you know the location of cities, states and regions on a Google satellite image?? |
The Islamic terrorists have already escalated the war and has continued to push Southwards without much resistance. They've now arrived and pitched tenth in Niger and Kaduna, two states that weren't affected until recently. Abuja would naturally be next then others like Kogi, Nasarrawa, and Kwara before they finally invade South. States with huge Muslim populations will suffer more disproportionately because the terrorists will be able to mingle and camouflage with ease. SW states and Auchi areas of Edo should watch it. This is deja Vu, a repeat of Bosnia! |
PressMyButton:Yorubas and insincerity are like 5 & 6. What do you mean by SE coming last? Why do you guys lie without shame? In terms of ethnicity, Igbos produce more onshore crude oil in Nigeria than any other group and that's a fact! Now, in terms of regions, SE only comes second after SS while SW comes last! Below is the latest statistics about allocations to states based on crude oil production for last year and despite the fact that Anambra wasn't added, Imo and Abia States combined had far more than Ondo, the only SW state producing crude oil. By the time Anambra is included and Imo's crude oil fully accounted for, then you will see that SW is not even in the equation.
|
mrvitalis:The Dundee would never answer that very important question! Meanwhile, the reason why Niger Delta was ra.ped for decades and totally stripped of their oil wealth is because it's largely a heterogeneous region with pull him down crab mentality. However, the core areas were gas is domiciled is in Igboland and the pipelines costing billions of dollars will begin and also pass through our region. If the Nigerian government is smart, now is the time to start reparations beginning with conceding Igbos the presidency in 2023. Anything short of that will cause severe animosity between the region and the central government to the extent that anything belonging to Nigeria or its government domiciled in Igboland will come under serious threat. The times when Igbos were seen as too business minded or educated to cause trouble is gone as recent events have proved. IPOB will achieve a critical mass support they sorely need should the presidency elude Igbos in 2023. Nigeria would not be able to survive it and not even threat of committing genocide on Igbos will stop them because how many out of 40m can you kill? The time is really ticking for Nigeria!!! |
JOemmy: ![]() |
SHINJA:Stop talking like a dunce! Building an airport is very important to any state in Nigeria today considering the level of insecurity everywhere. The availability of an airport will attract investors who wouldn't ordinarily want to invest in Ebonyi due to bad federal roads and insecurity. When investors are attracted, jobs will be created! Or how else do you want Dave Umahi to create jobs if not by building infrastructure and an enabling environment? Take your rubbish advise to your state that needs it more because Ebonyi is already better!! |
11 soldiers massacred Yet all the men in that community are still alive and going about their business ![]() ?Yet soldiers haven't burnt down half of all buildings in that community ![]() ![]() Yet no threat of state of emergency ??Wouldn't all these have happened if it were anywhere close to the East or South in general ![]() ![]() |
Maduawuchukwu:The reason why I don't support the premature breakup of Nigeria is simply to avoid us ending up with the short end of the stick. Read my posts so far, I didn't actually advocate for Biafra but was only trying to prove a point. The secessionists particularly IPOB are going for Biafra like it's a 100 meter race that must be gotten immediately or we perish and that's wrong. All we need is a little patience to allow Nigeria complete its natural circle and break up. When you look at the economic indices, insecurity and near collapse, one can decipher it's only a matter of time. Of course, they will always say no provided Nigeria is still standing but once it eventually collapses, there would be reallignments. Mind you, no country in this world is completely made up of just one ethnicity and definitely not in Africa. So why would anyone expect that Biafra would be only Igbos? The same ethnicities that worked with Ojukwu in 1967-70 will always want to align with us even in the future because we have always shared similar cultures and interest since recorded history. |
hammer567:Lol, the problem with freedom fighting is when illiterates are at the forefront. " To earn wages from who exactly?" You see the problem with you guys, God knows I haven't earned a Kobo from any government but I'm passionate about Igbo progress and that's why I'm alarmed when I see things going wrong. Getting Biafra or Nnamdi Kanu out of prison shouldn't be an end to itself like you guys are making it seem. Destroying our region in the name of all that doesn't show you love it rather it shows you're only selfish, inordinately ambitious and wicked. Why not show your anger on Abuja that is directly responsible for what is happening instead of against the very people that supported you! It is classic case of cutting one's nose just to spite the face. Even absolute cowardice when you consider that it wasn't SE governors that arrested Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya. It isn't Igbos that are holding in prison in Abuja yet you left those responsible to be suffering helpess Igbos you claim to be fighting for. |
JohnBullMySon:You're the one confusing yourself. Where in my post did I suggest that Igbos should have Biafra with only 5 SE states? For you to even think that Biafra as a nation will import goods through Lagos port shows you're not informed. Ask yourself, at what point did we as Igbos began to do international trade through Lagos? It has always been through the Eastern ports because it is within our catchment area. Even your analogy is wack because goods are sometimes brought in from Onne to Onitsha and Aba, only for those goods to be redistributed back to P.H. The major reason why Eastern ports are not functioning at optimal capacity is due to political reasons which won't be the case should there be Biafra. Of course, only an idiot will pray for a Biafra of just 5 SE states because that will make us an enclave and we would be dependent on Nigeria for virtually everything including land, sea and air control. We would just be to Nigeria what Swaziland is to South Africa. |
JohnBullMySon:Onitsha actually serves the middle belt, NE, Chad, Delta, Enugu, Ebonyi and parts of Edo, Imo and Cross River. However, Aba serves Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and parts of Imo and Cross River while certain consumer goods from Aba such as footwear, clothings, bags and belts are supplied all over Nigeria as well as West and Central Africa. To your question about what happens to our control of such network should Biafra emerge, the answer is NOTHING! I'm neither advocating for Biafra nor against it but trying to be factual. At the moment, the entire WA through the instrument of ECOWAS free trade zone allows for free movement of goods and services across the region. That is why there are lots of Igbos controlling supply chain in places like Cotonou, Ghana, Ivory coast and even in Cameroon and Gabon etc. With the enactment of Afcta, it's about to become easier. So, with or without Nigeria, our control of wholesale and retail trade will remain in tact. |
hammer567:I don't understand how some of you reason sometimes. What has Soludo done that isn't right? Do you know the damages sit at home is doing to our economy as Igbos? This is a man desirous to bring peace and development. He didn't go about insulting IPOB or disregarding them like some governors have done in the SE. Instead, he has called them for a round table discussion and also promised to dialogue with Buhari alongside other SE governors to ensure Nnamdi Kanu is released ASAP. Yet you're here calling him names ? Have you called Uzodinma names? Umahi? Wike? But here you are insulting Soludo for doing the right time!Na wa for you!!! |
greatiyk4u:I'm against this sit at home just like any other well meaning Igbo man. However, you wrote the most useless trash I have seen on nairaland in recent times. To show you how stupid your post is, let me ask you the same question in reverse: Imagine if it were Igbos behind Boko Haram, blocking highways in the North, attacking airports and bombing railways under an Igbo president. What do you think would have happened? How would the Hausas, Fulanis and Kanuris reacted to it? Answer the question you brainless gay.got! |
These Arewa Civil soceity groups are the real Patriots and not those that grill vulture meat yet claim to be patriotic while supporting criminals. Osinbajo should not be allowed to hold any political post for now until he is made to answer for the pillaging of Nigeria between 2015 and 2023. |
