PoliticsRe: Udom Emmanuel Inspects Refinery And Plants In Eastern Obolo, Akwa Ibom by EastisBae: 8:45am On Mar 30, 2022
SHINJA:
[s]The chest beating hairy cannibals from the baren land of the east will hate on this development ...

While south South and South West are busy developing their region, the drug pushing tribe are busy destroying their region , they will soon relocate to akwaibom...

South South and southwest will always remain one.

God bless south west and south South...[/s]
Children of fallen demons will always be stupid and envious when others are progressing. Afonjas are the most despicable and treacherous people I have ever seen. Any time they see development in other places, they get angry and look for ways to deflate it.

Imagine the attachee by force, when has Akwa Ibom ever had anything to do with afonjas? Precolonial times? Colonial times? Present day? But this lost soul is already forcefully attaching himself to people that have absolutely nothing in common with them, not even geographical boundaries!!

The last president of Biafra was an Akwa Ibom man, the people also held strategic posts in Biafra. Even today, there are Igbo communities in Akwa Ibom and some Ibibio people who like being referred as Abians yet you don't see Igbos shamelessly attaching themselves like this imbe.

There is a refinery that has been completed already in Imo State, about the first or so of its kind in Nigeria. Did you see us making noise about it? There are massive gas plants and rigs currently being constructed in Imo State as we speak yet a fool living in a mud house somewhere in the waste thinks he has an opinion about what is going on in the East.

Nature has already distanced you away from Akwa Ibom and all your fantasies about attaching with them is a foolish dream that will never happen.

Shame on sewage & algae soup eaters!
Shame on afonjas!!
Shame on skull miners!!!

PoliticsRe: Bombed Abuja-kaduna Train: See Full List Of Injured Passengers by EastisBae: 11:45pm On Mar 29, 2022
Over 60 people died according to reports yet they're showing us list of people that were injured without mentioning the dead.

I smell rat here, most of the names of the dead ones are Igbos and Yorubas, does it mean the terrorists targeted mostly Southerners? Why should a train going North from Abuja have more Southern casualties??
PoliticsRe: Like Azman, Air Peace Suspends Flights To Kaduna Airport by EastisBae: 12:24pm On Mar 29, 2022
Next would be Kano airport and ultimately Abuja airport. I think Boko Haram and bandits are getting their enclave faster than we ever anticipated. They've succeeded in encircling North by cutting off road, rail and now air transportation.

Very soon you can't move in or out of that region anymore cry cry

PoliticsThree Factors That Will Collapse Nigeria Post 2023 by EastisBae(op): 12:09pm On Mar 29, 2022
I'm not a prophet of doom and neither am I a sorcerer but here are factors that will ultimately lead to Nigeria's collapse after 2023:

1. Insecurity; the herder/farmer brouhaha hasn't been resolved, in fact nothing has been done about it. The killer herdsmen seem to be operating more in the middle belt today after several bloody clashes in the South eventually gave rise to ESN and Amotekun. Because of politics, the Yorubas appear to have tamed Amotekun while they also undermined agitators of Oduduwa actualization. Similarly, in the East, there has been so much confusion in recent times as the Igbos are divided between supporting IPOB or "One Nigeria" while hoping that an Igbo man will be made president in 2023. At the moment, there seem to be a sort of calm before the storm. The Igbo elite and middle class are hoping that an Igbo man will be made president but nothing on ground seems to suggest that, at least not yet!

Post 2023, the killer herdsmen are going to begin another push Southwards and Igbos, Yorubas and minorities are going to fight back. Today, there are far more poor, frustrated and hopeless people who would turn their anger against one another.

2. Northern president; the emergence of a Northerner as president in 2023 will most likely unite Igbos and Yorubas in pursuing a common goal. Regardless of which side produces the vice president. These two regions will be angry that the system has shortchanged them and support for Nigeria would be at an all time low while separatist groups will proliferate and gain wide acceptance and support. Also, militia groups will also proliferate to counter killer herdsmen and they would gain wide support.

3. Economic Meltdown; I don't know why lots of aspirants are falling over themselves on who should succeed Buhari. Honestly, except their motivation is for personal reasons or messainic rightous reasons then I wonder why any sane person would even dare to take over. Nigeria's economic state is deplorable. Crude oil is now mostly stolen before it arrives the terminals for export. Oil majors are liquidating their assets and running away from Nigeria. Public infrastructure is collapsing. Unemployment at all time high. We have already exceeded our healthy limits for borrowing and even China is no longer willing to give more. Majority of Nigerians can no longer sustain their lifestyles and millions are sinking deeper into poverty while businesses are collapsing due to extremely high overheads and low consumer spending power.

Except a miracle happens, I don't see how these three factors above could be remedied.

SweetiliciousD:
@the emboldened, you keep contradicting yourself, if Opobo people are Igbos as you claimed in another post, Ikwerre people are not as you opine in this post.

One day for reasons best known to you, you will claim Waawa or Ndoki people are not Igbo too cos the power to determine who is Igbo is mainly based on conduct, not ancestral heritage.
The day any sub Igbo group starts acting as a total enemy to all Igbos is the day they would also be treated as an enemy too by all Igbos. After all, Aka onye wetara ka eji eso ya!

It shows lack of self respect when you continue embracing those that insult and attack you.

Even Yorubas didn't seize our assets and call them abandoned properties but someone you claim is your brother connived with others to steal our properties in P.H! As if that's not enough, they continued to undermine and insult us because they felt we are done for after losing the war while they have oil wealth.

I would rather vote for Atiku, Osinbajo or any other person than vote for characters like Amaechi or Wike. I will even use my personal resources to campaign against them should they claim to represent Igbos because that's fraud! Any party that mistakenly nominate any of them as candidate to represent Igbos will fail woefully!!

Whether 5 or 4 cannot jettison the fact that Igbos spans beyond "core" Igbo states. Fulani junta can throw "political bone" at you and watch you deny your fellow brother. Lol

Take it or leave it, Igbo spans beyond South Eastern states.
Of course everyone knows that Igboland transcends SE and includes parts of SS and Benue state. However, if one of your siblings denies you, disgraces both you and your parents at every giving opportunity, teams up with your enemies to attack you, common sense dictates that such sibling should be totally disowned and ostracized.

Stop identifying with those that don't identify with you, that's a shameful and disgusting way of life.
PoliticsRe: How Marting Luther King jr Tried To Visit Biafra In 1968 PICS by EastisBae: 9:27am On Mar 29, 2022
MLK was one of the greatest Black men that ever lived. He identified with Biafra just like many others of good conscience during that era. 1968 was when millions of Igbos were being starved and bombed to death by a combined forces of evil whose only interest was how to control the resources domiciled in the region.

Your inclination to being simp is laughable.

Because of Presidential slot, you quicky fall in line with the brief and skimpy suit the Fulani juntas sew for you after the war? What a simp!

Igbo is wider than you think. Never you mix geopolitical zone with indigenous people , they are miles apart.

Yourubas are in Kwara State yet they claim North Central. Igbo is not only in 4 states of south east.

Igbo is never a geopolitical zone but south east is. Do not limit the expanse of Igbo indigenous people just to sound politically correct. I understand all lowly minded set of people think women and sex. You are excused. However, real men reason beyond their loins.

South Eastern presidency is the point. Not Igbo presidency. Whoever mixes both isn't street smart.

I hope you understand.
You keep regurtitating that Igbos have 4 states whereas SE alone is made up of 5 states, which of them did you exclude?

What the op wrote is fact yet I wonder what you're arguing about. Ikwerre obviously wants to eat their cake and still have it, and naive ones like you can't even see it.

Amaechi has realized that sentiments is currently swaying in the direction of Igbo presidency and all of a sudden, he has become a bonafide Igbo man. For starters, the argument is basically on balancing on regional basis and SE is clearly due for it. Secondly, if they want to argue based on ethnicity, then why leave bonafide Igbos like Umahi, Onu, Obi etc. for opportunistic Igbos Ikwerres like Amaechi?

What Amaechi is currently doing by attaching himself to Igbos is fraudulent and could be termed identity theft, intellectual property theft or even copyright infringement in the academic ream.

I would rather vote for Atiku or any other person who holds true to their identity than a chameleonic con man who is Ikwerre by day and Igbo at night.

Then you don't know south east .. Ameachi is so much liked in south east he would give Peter obi tough time even in south east ooh

Ameachi would win 90% of south east vote against wike take that to the bank
This your analysis is so wrong! Peter Obi is one of the few ex governors in Igboland that is still respected across SE.

What did Amaechi do for SE or Igbos at large that will warrant such love you're talking about?

Compared to Wike, Amaechi is more acceptible but comparing him to Obi in terms of popularity is laughable. Obi will even win more votes in SS than Amaechi.

The only place Wike could comfortably win is the SE due to their hatred for APC
Wike won't win a single ward in the SE, even if he is contesting against a Northerner in APC. Even Amaechi that is more acceptible won't win big in SE talk less of Wike.

Meanwhile, Amaechi may emerge APC flag bearer but Wike will never emerge PDP flag bearer.

PoliticsIf Amaechi Eventually Clinches APC Ticket, Only This Man Can Save PDP by EastisBae(op): 7:13pm On Mar 27, 2022
As rumors continue to gather momentum that Amaechi is the candidate anointed to clinch APC ticket, then it shows that PDP would have to change their plans accordingly if they want to have any chance.

Once Amaechi is made the flag bearer of APC, Buhari and his people would be aiming to achieve two things:

1. Ensure that power rotates and a Southerner would succeed him to promote stability.

2. By choosing Amaechi, Buhari would be compensating him for the role he played in his emergence while at the same time hoping that Igbos would be placated with the argument that Amaechi is Igbo.

These points above have nullified any move by PDP to nominate a Northerner as its flag bearer. Any attempt by PDP to bring a Northerner at this point would make them severely unpopular and the party would be seen as selfish, unprogressive and anti-Nigeria. Therefore, PDP would have no choice than to bring not just a Southerner but also an Igbo man who is popular as a counter force.

At this point in time, no other candidate would be best suited for PDP than Peter Obi and here are the reasons why only him can defeat Amaechi in a free and fair presidential election come 2023:

1. Peter Obi is loved by the elite; the major reason why Atiku was able to enjoy the support of the elite was because he chose Obi as his Vice. The elite in Lagos, Abuja and all over Nigeria would prefer Obi to Amaechi because they feel he is prudent, not corrupt, and business minded unlike Amaechi that is a typical Nigerian politician.

2. While Amaechi publicly and unabashedly admitted that Nigeria collected Chinese loans without understanding what was written in the agreement before signing, Obi on the other hand is a thorough bred financial analyst who would always consider short, medium and long term effects of any loan or policy before going ahead with it.

3. The Osborne towers, Ikoyi scandal is still fresh in our memories and the open secret was that Amaechi was the person behind it. Everyone already knows that Nigeria is in a precarious position in terms of its finances therefore, someone like Obi is no doubt 100% better suited than Amaechi.

Aside the facts listed above. PDP should also ensure that a very popular candidate from the NW is made to be Obi's Vice. Now here is how the regions would likely vote should the two candidates emerge for both parties:

1. South West; although there would be voter aparthy in this region due to the treatment meted out on Tinubu. His large supporters would rather not vote or even vote for PDP in protest. Also, considering the anger brought about by suffering and hunger, voters here would rather vote for PDP than APC in the ratio of 60/40.

2. South East; based on certain factors I wouldn't mention now, this region would vote overwhelmingly for Obi and PDP in the ratio of 90/10.

3. South South; many would expect that being Amaechi's home region that he would get block votes but that won't be the case because it's ethnically heterogeneous. Folks in cities like Asaba, Uyo, P.H etc. may even vote for PDP than APC because aside PDP being dominant here, Obi is also believed to be a better candidate. PDP will win 60/40 against APC.

4. North; how the 3 regions of the North would vote depends on who emerges as the vice president of both parties. Abuja would definitely go for Obi/PDP and to an extent North Central. The Buhari factor is no longer influential like it used to be and many are hungry and hopeless, and they believe that APC is responsible for their situation.
