Looking at how poor we are with set pieces, Eze's height could have helped instead of Double E

These European teams are very sly. The boy has been part of the team up to this point, then after they know he has played enough games for Germany and disqualifies him for Senegal, they drop him.

Can this team score 3 or 4 goals in a game? Can Ighalo score at all? If not him who? Iwobi? Moses?

To have any success we need somebody to score at least 4 goals this wc.......Im sorry but I dont see it.

P.S. Much as I like coach, I dont understand playing 4-2-3-1 routinely producing inept and poor football then switching to 3 at the back in the second half, that tends to fit the players better. Is he saying up to this moment he doesnt know what system best suits his team?

Moreover,the issue at stake is can the failure and success rate of foreign coaches justify the financial waste ,when statistics show that local coaches have been more successful?

Respect, as in the guy coaching me and telling me what to do is not held in high esteem.

Except for Keshi, which other local coach has had success at senior level?

I think we need to be honest with ourselves, where are you going to find a local coach, with enough pedigree for the players to respect? Or with enough wins at a top league to garner a reputation?

My observations

1. No Mikel, no midfield.

2. Joel Obi should not make the team, no influence.

3. Iwobi is regressing. So indecisive, unable or scared to take on players.

4. Ighalo has not been the same since his early Watford days. He is not clinical.

5. Musa was musa, a guy that 4 yrs ago went toe to toe, goal for goal with Messi, now a guy that I still dont know where he is best suited.

6. Mikel was wrong. You are the captain, you knew about this game long ago, yet you failed to take care of your papers till now? Ighalo is in the same China and he made it. Just say you didnt want to play. Poor leadership.

7. Serbia bossed us the whole game. They studied us and attacked us at will and nullified our counterattacks. We need to be more tactical, we were outcoached today.

These are my observations

1. After all the hype about Joel Obi, this guy is not a starter. Bring him in as a sub.

2. Midfield without mikel lacked punch or precision, didnt really create chances till 2nd half

3. Uzoho is our starting gk. Calm, did not panic and he is tall, u can't teach height.

4. Suprised that WTE was named capt, but now i see...he was everywhere.

5. Iheanacho, Iwobi and Ighalo missed Mikel.

6. When Victor Moses wants to play he plays. When he started imposing his will, he got the soft pk and converted with ease.

7. Good win over a top ranked opponent, on their home soil, lets build on it for Serbia
