Nairaland GeneralHow To Legally Apply For Police VIP Escort In Nigeria – Without Knowing Anyone by Easyinfoguide(op):
Many people believe that to get a police escort in Nigeria, you must “know someone inside” or go through backdoors.

But that’s no longer true.

There’s now an official way to request police VIP escort or armed protection — especially if you're:

Attending or hosting a high-profile event

Travelling with sensitive items (cash, tech, valuables)

Feeling unsafe due to personal threats

Moving across risky states

A businessperson who has received threatening calls or attacks

---

🛡️ How To Request Escort (Legally):

1. Go to the official Nigeria Police portal:

2. Click on “Apply for Escort Services”

3. Fill the form:

Full name

Event or movement type

Date and state

Reason for needing escort

Upload a valid ID or support letter (e.g. invitation, business letterhead)

4. Submit the form.

After submitting, you’ll be contacted by a police rep who will:

Assign escort officers (if approved)

Share payment structure (based on distance and officers needed)

And finalize logistics

---

🚨 A Few Things To Know:

It’s not free — fees depend on number of officers & distance

It’s better to apply early (3–7 days ahead)

Your reason must be clear (no vague “just for cruise” type of reasons)

You don’t need to beg or bribe anyone — it’s now structured and digital

In a country where security is becoming unpredictable, this is one of the rare legal tools everyday Nigerians can use — and it works.

Just thought I should share for anyone who has a wedding, travel, or cash movement coming up.

Stay safe, Naija 🙏

READ THIS BEFORE THE POLICE STOP YOU AGAIN

My first tint permit guide got 60,878+ views because I gave you facts when everyone else was guessing.

Now it's November 2025, and EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED AGAIN.

I'm talking about a Federal High Court order. Police harassment stories going viral. Grace periods being extended THREE TIMES. And yes—even comedian Zicsaloma getting stopped 5 TIMES IN ONE DAY despite having a valid permit.

**If you don't read this, you'll waste money, time, and sanity.**

Let me show you what's REALLY happening on Nigerian roads right now.

---

## **⚠️ BREAKING: WHAT HAPPENED IN OCTOBER 2025**

### **The Court Said "STOP"**

On October 3, 2025, the Federal High Court in Warri ordered the Nigeria Police Force to suspend enforcement of tinted glass permits and maintain the status quo pending further proceedings in a case challenging the legality of the enforcement.

**What this means for you:**
The police are SUPPOSED to stop harassing you about tint permits right now. But here's the problem...

### **The Reality on Nigerian Roads**

**Police officers at checkpoints didn't get the memo.**

In August 2025, comedian Zicsaloma was stopped more than five times in one day by police who claimed his valid tinted permit from the official POSSAP portal was fake and attempted to extort him.

If it can happen to a celebrity with cameras and followers, what chance do you think YOU have?

---

## **📊 THE TIMELINE: How We Got Into This Mess**

Let me break down what's been happening (because the confusion is INTENTIONAL):

**June 2022:**
Police ban ALL tinted glass permits. Reason? National security concerns about kidnapping and armed robbery.

**April 30, 2025:**
IGP Kayode Egbetokun reactivated the digital tinted permit system through the POSSAP platform, with a 30-day grace period starting May 1, 2025.

**June 1, 2025:**
Full enforcement begins. Or so they said.

**August 12, 2025:**
Grace period extended to August 12, 2025, to allow more time for compliance.

**October 2, 2025:**
Grace period extended AGAIN to October 2, with Delta State Police Command announcing full enforcement effective that date.

**October 3, 2025:**
Federal High Court hits the PAUSE button. Court orders police to suspend enforcement and maintain status quo.

**November 2025 (NOW):**
**Nobody knows what's legal anymore.**

---

## **🔥 THE BRUTAL TRUTH: What's ACTUALLY Happening**

### **SITUATION #1: You Have NO Permit**

**Police will stop you.** Court order or not.

Why? Because most officers on the road either:
- Haven't been informed about the court order
- Don't care about the court order
- Know you don't know about the court order

**Expected Cost:** ₦5,000 - ₦20,000 per stop (depending on your negotiation skills)

### **SITUATION #2: You Have a POSSAP Permit**

**Police will STILL stop you.**

Even with a valid POSSAP permit, officers may claim it's fake. This is the new hustle.

They'll tell you:
- "This permit is not valid"
- "You need to renew it"
- "The system has changed"
- "Take me to the station"

**What they really mean:** "Pay me ₦10,000 and go"

### **SITUATION #3: You Have Factory-Fitted Tint**

**You're in the WORST position.**

The POSSAP system was introduced specifically to address harassment of motorists with factory-fitted tinted windows. But here's the catch: Even factory-fitted tints require a permit if the Visible Light Transmission percentage falls below legal thresholds.

You bought your Lexus, Toyota, or Mercedes with tinted glass already installed. You thought you were safe.

**You were wrong.**

---

## **💰 THE REAL COST (November 2025 Edition)**

Let me give you FACTS, not estimates:

### **Official POSSAP Application (If You Still Want One):**

The Nigeria Police Force explicitly states that the tinted permit document itself is FREE OF CHARGE.

But wait—nothing is actually "free" in Nigeria:

**What You'll Actually Pay:**
- Internet data for application: ₦500 - ₦2,000
- Printing application forms: ₦500 - ₦1,000
- Biometric capture at police station: ₦0 - ₦5,000 (depending on who you meet)
- "Processing fee" (unofficial): ₦5,000 - ₦15,000
- Medical report (if applying on health grounds): ₦5,000 - ₦15,000

**Total realistic cost: ₦11,000 - ₦38,000**

### **The Hidden Cost: Police Harassment**

Here's what they won't tell you:

**Average stops per month (with NO permit):** 4-8 times
**Average "settlement" per stop:** ₦5,000 - ₦15,000
**Monthly harassment tax:** ₦20,000 - ₦120,000
**Yearly cost:** ₦240,000 - ₦1,440,000

**Even WITH a permit, you'll still get stopped.** Just less often. Maybe.

---

## **🎯 THE NEW POSSAP PROCESS (For Those Still Applying)**

The Police released a comprehensive nine-step guide requiring applicants to visit the POSSAP portal at www.possap.gov.ng and sign up using their National Identification Number, Bank Verification Number, or Tax Identification Number.

Let me break this down in plain English:

### **STEP 1: Visit www.possap.gov.ng**

**IMPORTANT:** Make sure it's the OFFICIAL site. Scammers have created fake portals.

Verify you see "possap.gov.ng" in your browser address bar. NOT "possap.com.ng" or any other variant.

### **STEP 2: Create Account**

You need ONE of these:
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)

The system integrates identity verification through NIN and TIN, alongside biometric capture and background checks, with QR-coded digital permits issued within 72 hours.

### **STEP 3: Fill Bio-Data Form**

Enter your details. Vehicle information. Be ACCURATE.

One mistake = rejection = start over = waste more time.

### **STEP 4: Upload Documents**

You need:
- Vehicle license (clear scan)
- Proof of ownership
- Driver's license
- Medical report (ONLY if applying on medical grounds - must be from a government hospital)

### **STEP 5: Make Payment**

Remember: The permit itself is free, but there may be small administrative fees.

**Pro tip:** Get a receipt for EVERYTHING you pay. EVERYTHING.

### **STEP 6: Print Application**

Print your acknowledgment form. Take it to State Intelligence Bureau (SIB).

### **STEP 7: Biometric Capture**

Go to the State Intelligence Bureau in any Police Command to capture your biometrics.

**What nobody tells you:**
- Go EARLY (8 AM - 9 AM)
- Bring ALL original documents
- Bring photocopies too (just in case)
- Be ready to wait 1-4 hours
- Have ₦5,000 - ₦10,000 for "express processing" (it's not official, but it's real)

### **STEP 8: Wait for Processing**

Processing should take 72 hours.

**Reality:** 3 days - 3 weeks. Sometimes longer. Sometimes never.

### **STEP 9: Download Your Digital Permit**

The new permits come with unique QR codes, making them easily verifiable by law enforcement using digital scanners connected to a central database.

Print multiple copies. Keep one in your car. One at home. One at your office.

---

## **🚨 THE SCAMS YOU MUST AVOID (November 2025 Update)**

### **SCAM #1: "We Can Get You a Permit in 24 Hours"**

Agents on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Nairaland claiming they have "connections" at POSSAP.

**The truth:** They'll take your ₦30,000 - ₦50,000 and give you a FAKE permit that will get you arrested.

### **SCAM #2: The "New Permit System" Lie**

Someone tells you the POSSAP system has been replaced with something else.

**The truth:** POSSAP (www.possap.gov.ng) is the ONLY official system as of 2025, and all old paper permits are now invalid.

### **SCAM #3: "Pay Me to Verify Your Permit"**

Officers at checkpoints offering to "verify" your permit for ₦5,000.

**The truth:** They have scanners. The permits have QR codes for digital verification. If they can't verify it for FREE, they're scamming you.

---

## **💡 INSIDER SECRETS (Worth ₦100,000+)**

**SECRET #1: The Court Order Is Your Weapon**

The Federal High Court ordered police to maintain status quo and respect judicial processes pending further proceedings.

If stopped, calmly mention: *"Officer, I'm aware of the October 2025 Federal High Court order suspending enforcement. Can we resolve this professionally?"*

This won't always work. But it plants a seed of doubt.

**SECRET #2: Record EVERYTHING**

Use your phone to record (discreetly if possible):
- Officer's name and badge number
- What they're saying
- Threats or extortion attempts

Nigerian police are now being monitored by the public. Officers found engaging in unprofessional conduct such as extortion or harassment face disciplinary procedures.

**SECRET #3: The Comedian Strategy**

Zicsaloma was stopped multiple times in one day, but one checkpoint let him go after recognizing him as a comedian.

**Lesson:** If you're known or connected, leverage that. Not bragging—just: *"I work with [company name]"* or *"My boss is expecting me for an urgent meeting."*

Authority respects authority.

**SECRET #4: Drive a "Poor Man's Car"**

Zicsaloma noted that police harassment intensified because he was driving a Mercedes-Benz, suggesting criminals are less likely to be stopped in smaller, less conspicuous vehicles.

If you have both a Benz and a Corolla, you know which one gets stopped less.

**SECRET #5: Know Your Legal Limits**

Generally, regulations require very high VLT (Visible Light Transmission) for the front windshield (70-75% or higher), while front side windows often allow around 50% VLT maximum without a permit.

If your tint is very light, you have a stronger argument.

---

## **📍 WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW (November 23, 2025)**

Here's the honest truth:

**Legally:** Enforcement is suspended by court order.

**Practically:** Police are still stopping people. Some know about the court order and ignore it. Some don't know. Most don't care.

**What should YOU do?**

### **Option A: Do Nothing**

If your tint is VERY light (almost clear), you might be okay. You'll still get stopped occasionally, but you have a decent argument.

**Risk Level:** Medium

### **Option B: Apply for POSSAP Permit Anyway**

Even with the court order, having the permit gives you leverage. Even if officers claim it's fake, at least you have SOMETHING to show.

**Risk Level:** Low (but costs ₦11,000 - ₦38,000)

### **Option C: Remove Your Tint**

Extreme? Yes. But some motorists have pulled off their tints entirely to avoid constant harassment and delays.

**Risk Level:** Zero (for tint-related stops)

---

## **🎁 WHAT I'M GIVING YOU TODAY**

1. **The Court Order Reference:** Save this on your phone. Federal High Court Suit No. FHC/WR/CS/103/2025, October 3, 2025.

2. **Police Complaint Channels:** If harassed, report to NPF Public Complaint Unit. Document everything first.

3. **POSSAP Portal Verification:** Always check your permit status at www.possap.gov.ng before driving.

---

## **❓ YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED**

**Q: Should I still apply for a POSSAP permit if enforcement is suspended?**
A: It's your call. The court order is temporary. Enforcement WILL resume eventually. Having a permit = better position when that happens.

**Q: My factory-fitted tint is light. Do I need a permit?**
A: Even factory-fitted tints require permits if VLT falls below legal thresholds. When in doubt, apply.

**Q: What if police claim my POSSAP permit is fake?**
A: Ask them to scan the QR code. The system is designed for digital verification. If they refuse, ask for their superior.

**Q: How long will the court suspension last?**
A: Unknown. Could be weeks. Could be months. The case is still in court.

**Q: Can I drive from Lagos to Abuja with factory tint and no permit?**
A: Legally (right now)? Yes, because of the court order. Practically? You'll be stopped. Multiple times. Prepare accordingly.

---

## **⚡ THE BOTTOM LINE**

This is the most chaotic the tint permit situation has EVER been in Nigeria.

You have:
- A court order saying enforcement is suspended
- Police officers who don't care or don't know
- A POSSAP system that exists but is in legal limbo
- Grace periods that keep getting extended
- Legitimate permits being called "fake"

**There is NO perfect answer right now.**

But here's what I know:

**The safest play** = Apply for POSSAP permit + Keep court order reference on your phone + Record all interactions + Drive respectfully.

**The cheapest play** = Remove your tint entirely or use very light tint that barely qualifies as tinted.

**The riskiest play** = Do nothing and hope for the best.

Choose based on:
- Your car value (expensive car = more stops)
- Your routes (Lagos-Ibadan expressway = checkpoint central)
- Your tolerance for harassment
- Your budget

---

## **👊 MY PROMISE TO YOU**

I will UPDATE this guide the MOMENT anything changes:
- If the court case concludes
- If police issue new directives
- If POSSAP system changes
- If there's a new scam

**Save this post. Screenshot it. Share it.**

Because next week, next month, something WILL change. And when it does, you'll need to know IMMEDIATELY.

## **⏰ FINAL WARNING**

The police are confused. The public is confused. The courts are involved. Politicians are weighing in.

This is **THE MOST UNCERTAIN** the tint permit situation has been in Nigerian history.

Do NOT assume it will get clearer. It might get WORSE.

Protect yourself now:
1. Get informed (you just did)
2. Make a decision (do it today)
3. Document everything (phone camera is your friend)

Nairaland GeneralRe: How To Get Your Tax Clearance Certificate Fast And Stress-free by Easyinfoguide(op): 6:44am On Nov 21, 2025
My people, gather around. Let me tell you a story that almost sent me into depression last month…

December 2024. Fresh contract offer from a big oil company — ₦15 million to supply equipment.

Guy, I don chop the money finish for my mind. I don buy Benz, I don relocate my mama from the village, I don even price land for Lekki. 😂

Then the contract letter came. I opened it with shaky hands. My heart was beating like talking drum.

And then I saw the requirements:

✅ Company documents – CHECK
✅ Bank reference letter – CHECK
✅ Certificate of Incorporation – CHECK
✅ Tax Clearance Certificate – WHAT?! 😳

Ah ahn! Wetin be Tax Clearance Certificate again? 🤔

THE BEGINNING OF MY NIGHTMARE

I called my lawyer friend, Emeka.

Me: "Emeka, abeg wetin be this Tax Clearance Certificate?"

Emeka: "Guy, you never get TCC? That thing wey you suppose get like 3 years ago?"

Me: "Three years?! Nobody tell me!" 😭

Emeka: "If you no get that certificate, forget that contract. They no go even look your side."

Me: "But I dey pay tax na! Every year!"

Emeka: "Paying tax is different from having TCC. You need evidence say you don pay for the last 3 years. You fit show am?"

Me: "Emeka... I no fit find those receipts." 💀

Emeka: "Jesus is Lord.

PANIC MODE ACTIVATED 🚨

I run enter FIRS office that Monday morning. Usain Bolt for shame.

Me: "Good morning ma. Please I need Tax Clearance Certificate urgently."

Aunty: "When you need am?"

Me: "This Friday ma."

Aunty: "This Friday? You mean this coming Friday?" 😤

Me: "Yes ma. I get contract wey I..."

Aunty: "TCC no be pure water! You think say na 5 minutes something?"

Me: "But ma, this contract..."

Aunty: "Have you filed your tax returns for the last 3 years?"

Me: "Yes ma! I dey pay every year!"

Aunty: "Filing and paying are two different things. Bring your receipts."

Me: "That's the problem ma... I no fit find the receipts for 2022 and 2023. I only get 2024 own." 😰

Aunty: Sighs "You people will not file tax, you will not keep receipts, then you will come here saying 'I need TCC urgently' like we are magicians."

THE LONG SUFFERING

4 days of pure agony:

Day 1 (Mon): Running from FIRS to bank to print old receipts
Day 2 (Tue): Bank say their system no dey show 2022 payment
Day 3 (Wed): FIRS IT unit help me retrieve payment history (God bless that guy, I gave him ₦10k for Coke)
Day 4 (Thu): Finally submitted application with all documents

Friday morning: My phone rang.

Caller: "Is this Israel?"

Me: "Yes sir."

Caller: "Your TCC is ready. You can come collect it."

Me: "JESUUUUUS!!!" 😭🙌

I naked run go their office. I no even wear shirt properly. 😂
Collected the certificate like trophy. Kissed it. Took selfie with it. Security man dey look me but I no send am.

I submitted it to the oil company. Two weeks later… contract approved ✅

If I had lost that contract because of TCC, I for don enter village go plant cassava. 😭

Nairaland GeneralRe: 16 Days To December: 5 Documents Every Nigerian Must Check Right Now (or Pay... by Easyinfoguide(op): 2:01am On Nov 14, 2025
THE DECEMBER COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN

It's November 14, 2025.

Right now, it's past midnight and you're probably scrolling through your phone, maybe planning your December moves, maybe just avoiding sleep. But let me tell you something that might keep you up a little longer:

December is exactly 16 days away.**

And somewhere in Nigeria right now, a man just booked a flight to London for Christmas without checking his passport expiry date. In another city, a woman is planning a 12-hour road trip home without knowing her vehicle insurance expired three months ago. A business owner is celebrating a new contract, completely unaware that he needs a tax clearance certificate he doesn't have—and can't get in time.

These aren't hypothetical scenarios. These are real Nigerians who will spend December in panic mode, throwing money at problems that could have been solved this weekend.

**I've helped over 60,000 Nigerians navigate vehicle documentation, government processes, and bureaucratic nightmares.** And every single November, I watch the same movie: people ignore the warning signs, then December hits like a truck loaded with wahala.

But not you. Not this time.

Because you're reading this on November 14. You still have this weekend. You still have time.

Here are the 5 documents you need to check RIGHT NOW before December turns your life into a stress buffet.

---

## **1. YOUR VEHICLE TINT PERMIT (The Checkpoint Killer)**

**The Story Nobody Tells You:**

Last December, my guy Emeka drove from Lagos to Enugu for Christmas. Brand new car, fresh tints, confident smile. He got stopped at SEVEN different police checkpoints. Not because he was speeding. Not because of anything he did wrong.

**Because his tint permit had expired in October and he didn't even know.**

Each stop: ₦5,000-₦20,000 in "settlement." By the time he reached Enugu, he'd paid almost ₦80,000 in bribes. Money that could have bought his entire family Christmas clothes.

**Here's What You Don't Know:**

Police checkpoints don't just increase in December—they MULTIPLY like bacteria in spoiled stew. And tinted vehicles are their favorite target. Why? Because 90% of Nigerian drivers with tinted windows either have:
- Expired permits
- No permits at all
- Fake permits they bought from "connections"

And the police know this.

**What To Do THIS WEEKEND:**

1. Check your tint permit RIGHT NOW. Find it. Look at the expiry date.
2. If it expires before March 2026, you need to renew it NOW
3. If you don't have one, stop driving that car until you sort it out

**The Math:** A legitimate tint permit costs ₦15,000-₦25,000 depending on your state. One checkpoint bribe costs the same. You'll hit at least 3-4 checkpoints on any December road trip.

**Do the math. Get the permit.**

I wrote the most comprehensive tint permit guide in Nigeria—60,000+ people have used it. [Link to your detailed guide here]. Read it this weekend. Register on Monday. Save yourself ₦100,000+ in December stress.

---

## **2. YOUR INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT (The Flight You'll Miss)**

**The December Airport Nightmare:**

Picture this: December 22, 2024. Murtala Muhammed International Airport. A family of four—father, mother, two kids—standing at the check-in counter with suitcases packed, Christmas presents wrapped, relatives in London waiting.

The airline agent looks at the father's passport. Checks the date. Looks up with that face—you know the face—the "sorry sir, but..." face.

**"Your passport expired last month."**

Everything stops. ₦2.8 million in tickets—gone. Hotel bookings—gone. The kids crying. The wife's face. The shame.

And you know what the worst part is? **He knew the passport was getting old. He just thought he had time.**

**The Passport Renewal Reality Check:**

The Nigerian Immigration Service will tell you passport renewal takes "6 weeks maximum." That's like your barber saying "I'm 5 minutes away"—technically possible, practically a lie.

**Real timeline:**
- **Online application:** 2-3 days (if the website is working)
- **Actual processing:** 6-8 weeks MINIMUM
- **During ember months (Sept-Dec):** Add 2-4 more weeks
- **If there's any "issue" with your application:** Add another month and several trips to their office

**Do This Right NOW:**

Go find your passport. Not tomorrow. NOW.

Look at the expiry date.

If it expires before April 2026, you need to start renewal THIS MONDAY. Not next week. Not "when I get time." MONDAY.

**Why April 2026?** Because most countries won't let you travel if your passport expires within 6 months of your trip. So if you're planning any international travel in 2026, you need validity until at least June 2026.

**The December 15 Deadline:**

Here's insider knowledge: If you start passport renewal after December 15, you're basically gambling with January-February travel plans. The Immigration Service slows down for Christmas, officers travel, systems "malfunction," and your application sits in digital limbo.

You have 31 days before that deadline. Use them wisely.

---

## **3. YOUR VEHICLE INSURANCE (The Accident Nobody Plans For)**

**The Text Message That Changed Everything:**

"Brother, I just had an accident on Third Mainland Bridge. Nobody seriously hurt, thank God. But the other driver is asking for my insurance. I just checked—it expired in July. What do I do?"

I got this message last December 28. From a guy who drives every single day. A responsible guy. Family man. He just... forgot.

**Here's What Happens When You Forget:**

December in Nigeria = increased traffic + rushed drivers + bad roads + Christmas stress = **accidents waiting to happen.**

And when that accident happens, the first thing anyone asks for is your insurance certificate.

**If yours is expired:**
- You personally pay for ALL damages (both cars)
- You face potential arrest by FRSC
- You can't make any claims with your insurance company
- The other driver can sue you directly

One accident can cost you ₦500,000 to ₦2 million+. Your insurance premium? ₦25,000-₦50,000 per year.

**The Shocking Statistics:**

According to FRSC data, **over 60% of vehicles on Nigerian roads have expired or invalid insurance.** Most drivers don't even know because they never check the certificate after the first year.

**Your Weekend Action Plan:**

1. Find your vehicle insurance certificate (it's probably in your glove box or somewhere at home)
2. Check the expiry date
3. If it expired ANY time in 2025, it's INVALID
4. Call your insurance company TOMORROW (Saturday) or MONDAY
5. Renew before you make ANY December road trip

**Pro Tip:** Some insurance companies offer discounts if you renew early. Call them and ask. Why pay full price when you can save ₦5,000-₦10,000?

---

## **4. YOUR TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE (The Contract Killer)**

**The ₦3 Million Mistake:**

Chinedu runs a small construction company. In December 2024, he got the opportunity of his life: a ₦3 million government contract. Everything was perfect. He had the expertise, the equipment, the team.

The government official asked for one document: **Tax Clearance Certificate.**

Chinedu didn't have one. "No problem," he thought. "I'll get it."

He went to FIRS (Federal Inland Revenue Service) on December 12. They told him the process takes "2-3 weeks."

December 31 came. No certificate.

January 3, 2025: The government gave the contract to someone else.

**₦3 million gone because of one document he didn't know he needed.**

**Who Needs Tax Clearance (You Might Be Surprised):**

You need a Tax Clearance Certificate if you:
- Apply for government contracts or tenders
- Need a business loan from any bank
- Apply for visa to most countries (UK, US, Canada, Schengen)
- Register a business with CAC (Corporate Affairs Commission)
- Want to bid for any public sector project
- Need proof of tax compliance for international partnerships

**The December 31 Deadline:**

Tax Clearance Certificates are issued annually. They cover a specific tax year. If you need one for 2025, you must apply and obtain it before December 31, 2025.

**After January 1, you're applying for the 2026 certificate, and that's a whole new process.**

**The Real Processing Time:**

Official timeline: 2-3 weeks
**Actual timeline:** 3-6 weeks (longer if there are any issues with your tax records)

**Translation:** If you need a Tax Clearance Certificate for ANY reason in the next 3-6 months, you should be starting the process THIS MONDAY.

**How To Get Started:**

1. Visit the FIRS website (firs.gov.ng)
2. Register for Tax Identification Number (TIN) if you don't have one
3. File your tax returns (even if you haven't been filing—start now)
4. Apply for Tax Clearance Certificate
5. Follow up aggressively (this is Nigeria—you must follow up)

**Cost:** Usually free, but you need to be tax compliant (meaning you've filed returns)

Don't wait until you need it. Get it now while you have time to fix any issues that come up.

---

## **5. YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE (The FRSC Trap)**

**The Ember Months Ambush:**

November, December, January, February. FRSC calls them "ember months." We call them "FRSC is hungry" months.

During ember months, FRSC officials don't play around. They set up random stops on major highways with one mission: **catch drivers with expired licenses.**

**The Fine:** ₦50,000+ (officially), or ₦20,000-₦30,000 "on the spot settlement"

**The Real Punishment:** Your vehicle gets impounded until you show proof of valid license. Imagine this happening during a December road trip with your family in the car and Christmas rice in the boot.

**The License Renewal Reality:**

Your driver's license expires every 5 years. Check yours right now. Look at the expiry date.

**If it expires before June 2026, start renewal NOW.**

**Why?**
- Renewal process officially takes "2 weeks"
- Real timeline: 4-8 weeks depending on your state
- December-January: Add several more weeks due to officer availability

**Plus,** driving with an expired license invalidates your vehicle insurance. So even if you have valid insurance, an accident while driving with an expired license means the insurance company can refuse to pay your claim.

**Weekend Action:**

Find your driver's license. Check the expiry date. If it's close, visit the FRSC office in your state MONDAY morning. Start the renewal process.

**Cost:** Around ₦6,350-₦10,000 depending on your state.

Much cheaper than the alternative.

---

## **THE REAL TALK: WHY THIS MATTERS**

I know what some of you are thinking: *"Israel, these things can wait. I'll handle them in December."*

**NO. YOU. WON'T.**

Here's what happens in December:

**Week 1 (December 1-7):** Everyone realizes they need to renew documents. Queues at government offices quadruple. Processing slows down.

**Week 2 (December 8-14):** Panic sets in. People start offering bribes to jump queues. Costs increase. Scammers multiply.

**Week 3 (December 15-21):** Government offices start operating on "Christmas mode"—half the staff is gone, systems are "down," everything takes twice as long.

**Week 4 (December 22-31):** Most offices are barely functional. Officers are traveling. If you don't have your documents by now, you're cooked.

**You have THIS WEEKEND.**

Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16 to CHECK these 5 things.

Then MONDAY, November 17 to start fixing whatever needs fixing.

That's your window. Use it.

---

## **THE COST OF IGNORING THIS**

Let's do the math on what ignoring these warnings costs:

- **Expired tint permit:** ₦50,000-₦100,000 in checkpoint bribes per trip
- **Expired passport:** ₦500,000-₦3,000,000 in lost flights/hotels/opportunities
- **Expired insurance:** ₦200,000-₦2,000,000 if you have an accident
- **Missing tax clearance:** Lost contracts worth millions
- **Expired driver's license:** ₦50,000 fine + vehicle impoundment stress

**Total potential cost of ignoring this post: ₦800,000 to ₦5+ million**

**Total cost of checking these documents this weekend: ₦0 (just your time)**

**Total cost of renewing what needs renewal: ₦50,000-₦150,000 maximum**

---

PropertiesIf Your Business Depends On Whatsapp, Read This Before You Lose Another Customer by Easyinfoguide(op): 5:51pm On Nov 09, 2025
Some businesses are not failing because of lack of customers.
They are failing because the owner can’t reply fast enough.

Earlier this week, something happened at work that made me realize this clearly.

My boss manages a car wash + small car lot.
Good man, but typing message? No.
If customer asks simple question, anger go start front and back 😂

People will message: “How much?”
“Where is your location?”
“Is it available?”
If he’s busy with work, he won’t reply.
And once you delay on WhatsApp, customer just disappears.
Lost business. Just like that.

So I set up a WhatsApp Auto-Reply Assistant for him.

Now when people message:

It greets them politely

Sends price list or service list

Shares location automatically

And if the matter get plenty talk, it says: “Oga will call you shortly.”

Next morning, he came to work smiling like somebody won lottery:

> “This thing dey work. People think I hired PA now.”

Peace of mind.
Professional appearance.
No stress.

I’m just sharing because some business owners are losing customers quietly.
All because they are busy or tired to reply messages.

If your business depends on WhatsApp, just automate small.
It changes everything.

Some of you watched.
Some of you doubted.
It’s all fine.

But something is shifting now.

My writing doesn’t just explain.
It doesn’t just inform.

* Your product to *sell itself*
* Your idea to **enter minds and stay there**

Then let’s work.

Car TalkRe: How I Registered My Tinted Glass Permit In Nigeria (2025 Guide) by Easyinfoguide(op): 12:36am On Oct 29, 2025
🚨 OFFICIAL UPDATE (October 2025) – Current Situation of the Police Tinted Glass Permit in Nigeria

Over the past few months, the situation around the Nigeria Police Tinted Glass Permit has changed drastically — and many car owners are confused about whether the permit is still active, suspended, or scrapped.

Here’s the accurate and current position as of late October 2025, verified by EASYINFOGUID PUBLISHING 👇

🔹 1. The Permit System Is Still Valid — But Enforcement Is Temporarily Suspended

The Police officially suspended enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy after a Federal High Court in Warri ordered all parties to maintain status quo.
That means Police can’t currently arrest or seize vehicles solely for tinted permit violations — at least until the court case is resolved.

However, the suspension does not mean cancellation. The permit system is still active on POSSAP.gov.ng, and applications are still being processed.

🔹 2. The Police Reactivated the Portal Earlier This Year

The NPF reactivated the POSSAP Tinted Glass Permit portal around April 2025 with NIN and TIN verification integrated.
They even announced nationwide enforcement to begin on October 2, 2025 — before the court case paused it.
So, enforcement will likely resume once the case concludes.

🔹 3. Some Commands Are Still Conducting Stop-and-Check Operations

Even with the suspension, reports show that some State Commands (especially Lagos, FCT, and Delta) continue to randomly stop tinted vehicles for verification purposes.
In such cases, having a valid permit or proof of application can still save you unnecessary stress.

🔹 4. What You Should Do as a Vehicle Owner

✅ Stay informed — don’t assume the policy is gone for good.

✅ If your car has aftermarket tints, consider processing your permit early while it’s still free on POSSAP.

⚠️ Avoid arguing with officers on the road. Politely show your documents or say you’re awaiting approval.

📅 Watch this thread — EASYINFOGUID will post verified updates the moment new enforcement or policy changes are announced.

🧠 Final Note

Nigeria’s system changes without warning. Today it’s “suspended,” tomorrow it’s “resumed full force.”
Smart car owners prepare in advance — not when checkpoints start trending on social media again.

FamilyHow To Retrieve Your Lost NIN Slip Or NIN Number (2025 Method) by Easyinfoguide(op): 6:38am On Oct 23, 2025
Let’s be honest — losing your NIN slip feels like losing part of your identity.
You’ll need it for SIM registration, bank updates, job applications, even passport processing.

But here’s the good news 👇🏽
You don’t need to panic, pay a middleman, or travel miles to any office.
You can retrieve your NIN yourself — officially and safely.

---

✅ Option 1: Use the USSD Code

If the SIM you registered your NIN with is still active, dial:

> *346#

Then follow the prompt that says “NIN Retrieval”.
Note: This works on MTN, Airtel, Glo, and 9mobile, but a ₦20 service fee applies.

---

✅ Option 2: Retrieve Through the NIMC App

Download the official NIMC Mobile App (MWS: ID) on Play Store or App Store.
Sign in with your phone number and date of birth.
You’ll instantly see your NIN, and you can also reprint your digital slip right from the app.

---

✅ Option 3: Via Email or NIMC Office

If your registered SIM is lost or blocked, you can:
1️⃣ Visit any NIMC office with your valid ID (like voter’s card or passport).
2️⃣ Request for NIN Retrieval / Slip Reprint.
3️⃣ Pay the ₦500 official reprint fee through REMITA.
4️⃣ Collect your new NIN slip same day or within 48 hours.

---

⚠️ Important Tips

Never share your NIN or BVN with strangers on social media or WhatsApp.

Always use the official NIMC portal or app for recovery.

Make a digital backup of your slip — even a photo stored in your email can save you stress later.

---

You see? Most people pay ₦2,000–₦5,000 for something they can fix in minutes.
Information is the real power in Nigeria today.
That’s why at EasyInfoGuid Publishing, we’re helping Nigerians stay informed, stay legal, and stay smart. 💡

Jobs/VacanciesHow To Set Up An Online Business In 24 Hours by Easyinfoguide(op): 5:42am On Oct 23, 2025
Let’s be honest most people don’t have a business problem.
They have a procrastination problem.

We keep waiting for capital, laptop, or website before starting.
Meanwhile, the real game is this:

All you need to start is one product, one platform, and one plan.

Let me explain.

When I first decided to start something online, I didn’t have a website or any fancy setup.
Just my phone, data, and one digital idea I could package fast — something valuable that people already needed help with.

I turned that idea into a simple PDF guide.
Within 24 hours, I had:

A business name (EASYINFOGUID PUBLISHING)

A digital product (The Tinted Glass Permit InfoGuide)

A WhatsApp Business account for operations

And a payment channel through Opay.

No logo, no paid ads, no stress.
Yet that little setup became a real business — one that still brings in daily conversations and sales.

That’s the secret people don’t tell you:
You don’t need to build a “company” first.
You need to start trading value — today.

So if you’re reading this and still waiting for everything to be perfect, stop.
Just pick one thing you can explain, teach, or simplify — and turn it into a guide, video, or service.

One day of focus can replace one year of excuses.
You can actually build something before tomorrow morning if you stop scrolling and start creating.

The question now is

What will you start before the next 24 hours runs out?
