kgenius:Hello @kgenius, This is an excellent and very specific question. It's a known system glitch that happens when an individual tries to register a second vehicle under the same profile, especially after a successful virtual verification payment. The portal's payment gateway sometimes gets "stuck" on the first successful transaction. You have done everything right. The issue is not with your documents but with how the portal's backend handles multiple applications from a single user account. Here is the solution that has worked for others:1. The "Clean Slate" Method: You need to approach the second application as if you are a completely new user, but link it to the same identity.• Log out of the POSSAP portal completely.• Clear your browser cache and cookies (as detailed in the guide in my main posts). This is a crucial step.• Use a different, but valid, email address to start a new registration.• However, when it asks for your NIN, use your same NIN. The system will recognize your identity but treat this application as a separate instance, which often resets the payment gateway issue.2. The "Physical Verification" Override:• If the method above still fails, the most reliable (though less convenient) solution is to choose Physical Verification for the second vehicle instead of Virtual.• This bypasses the online verification payment gateway that is causing the error. You will pay the main permit fee online and then be scheduled to take both vehicles for a physical inspection at the same time. This can often resolve both applications in one go at the police command. This is a frustrating system quirk, but one of these two methods should solve it for you. You are not alone in facing this issue |
Rarelyseenkay:@Rarelyseenkay,This is a very common issue, and you've correctly identified the problem. The system is failing because the name on the application (your name, via your BVN) does not match the name on the vehicle documents (your dad's name). The face capture is trying to match your dad's face to an account registered under your name. The application must be started and owned by the person whose name is on the vehicle documents.1. You need to start a brand new application from the beginning.2. This new application must be registered using your dad's NIN or BVN.3. All the details entered must be your dad's. When it's time for the face capture, it must be your dad's face.Essentially, the applicant must be the legal owner of the vehicle. You cannot register on behalf of someone else using your own details. I know this is frustrating and means you might lose the initial payment, but it's the only way to get the permit approved. |
Hello everyone, I've been reading all the comments and see that many of you are facing specific technical issues with the portal. Let's solve them right now. This guide will address the most common problems: document uploads, payment, video verification, and status messages. Solution 1: The "Portal Not Working" / Document Upload Error* This is the most common issue. The portal is working, but it's very strict about the files you upload. 1. **File Format:** The portal works best with **image files (JPG, PNG)**, not PDFs. If your documents (vehicle license, proof of ownership, etc.) are in PDF, you must convert them to an image first. 2. **File Size:** **Every single file must be under 2MB.** This is non-negotiable. Use a free online tool like `simpleimageresizer.com` to compress your images before you try to upload them. **Do this and your upload will go through.** ### **Solution 2: The Video / Face Capture Verification** This step is tricky but passable. The system is trying to match your live face to your passport photo. * **Lighting is Key:** Do this in a very brightly lit room. If you're in a dark room, **use another phone's flashlight and point it directly at your face.** This is the most effective trick. * **Follow the On-Screen Guide:** When it shows a circle, put your face inside it. Keep your eyes open and follow any instructions to move your head slowly. If it fails, just click "try again." It will work. ### **Solution 3: Understanding Your Status After Payment** * If your status shows **"Pending"** or **"Secretariat Routing,"** congratulations, you have completed the online part successfully. This is a **NORMAL** status. It means your application is in the queue waiting for an officer to review it. You do not need to do anything else online. * The next step is to **wait for an SMS or an email** from the NPF inviting you for the physical verification and biometric capture at the police command you chose. ### **Solution 4: The Real Cost & Process** * The total cost is around **₦15,500**, paid directly on the portal via Remita. The breakdown is roughly **₦14,200** for the permit and **₦1,275** for the verification. * **For Medical Reports:** To be safe, use a report from a **Government Hospital**. * **For Email Issues:** If you don't get a verification email, **check your spam/junk folder**. |
Spiff20:That's a great question. The short answer is yes, you can run basic ads directly from the WhatsApp Business app. It's designed to be quick and easy.My advice: Think of it like this.• Running ads from WhatsApp: It's like driving an automatic car. It's simple, gets you from A to B, but you have limited control.• Using the Facebook Ads Manager: It's like driving a manual car. It takes a bit more skill to learn, but you have full control over your speed, power, and efficiency—which is how you win the race and get super low-cost results like I did.recommend every serious business owner learn the Ads Manager. |
For those who want to see the full journey and real proof behind this ₦600 → ₦100,000 story, here’s my original detailed post with over 30,000 views: https://www.nairaland.com/8445793/how-registered-tinted-glass-permit Keep watching this space—I’ll be dropping more tips and tricks soon to help you replicate this success without wasting money.” https://www.nairaland.com/8445793/how-registered-tinted-glass-permit |
When following up, give people a reason to act now — not later. “Slots close Friday” beats “Let me know when you’re ready.” |
People don’t buy “services.” They buy speed, ease, and peace of mind. Frame your offer around that. |
Chevrolet076:Thanks. Your free offer should be so good people feel guilty taking it for free. That’s how you get them to buy without begging. |
Most people sell what THEY want to sell. Smart marketers sell what the market is already begging for. I didn’t “create demand” for tint permits — I just showed up where people were already looking. |
Your WhatsApp status is your free billboard. If you’re not posting daily value there, you’re sleeping on easy money. |
You don’t need the whole country. Sometimes one or two cities can make you rich if you dominate them. |
One of my favourite moments in business is when a client pays — not because of luck, but because I solved a real problem for them. ₦50,000. One transaction. One happy client. And a simple system that anyone can set up.
|
One reason my ₦600 ad worked so well: I didn’t sell immediately. I offered something *free* first — a “Free Tint Permit Guide.” Facebook rewards free offers with lower costs. And when people get value upfront, they trust you faster.
|
Fun fact: If you run a Facebook ad targeting *everyone*, your cost per lead will skyrocket. The cheapest leads I’ve ever gotten came from targeting **specific cities + interests**. Example: “Men, Age 30–50, Lives in Lagos or Abuja, Interests: SUV, Car dealership, Driving license.” Narrow is cheaper than wide. |
More proof of work Please do not post adverts in this section, to avoid being banned.

Let’s be honest… 99% of Nigerians who try Facebook ads end up losing money. They throw ₦2k, ₦5k, even ₦10k into ads… get likes, maybe comments, but no sales. I was exactly like that — until I cracked something last month. And it turned ₦600 into ₦100,000 in just 48 hours. What Happened Two months ago, I wrote a Nairaland post about tinted glass permits that went viral — over 25,000 views. People kept asking me to help them process theirs. I realised: This is a problem people are willing to pay for. So I took my last ₦600 and ran a very small Facebook ad for just 1 day. My Exact Results Caption: ₦83.44 per lead, 8 new WhatsApp chats in less than 24 hours. 8 conversations started ₦83.44 per lead (super cheap) 498 views / 473 reach (highly targeted) By Day 2: 2 people paid ₦50,000 each for my full service Total spend: ₦600 Total revenue: ₦100,000 Profit: ₦99,400 Why It Worked 1. I already had authority from my viral post. 2. I offered something free first (Facebook loves free = cheaper ads). 3. I targeted only people with money + the exact problem. 4. I followed up on WhatsApp, not email or random DMs. The Takeaway You don’t need ₦50k ad budget to win. You need: Something people already want The right audience A simple follow-up system Small testing budget (₦500

AngelicDamsel:Oh God that pix 😅 |
I don't remember what caused the fight. Maybe it was something small. Maybe it was the weight of everything we didn’t say. But I remember her walking away. No shouting. No drama. Just silence — and a kind of finality that made Lagos traffic feel louder than usual. She didn’t look back. And in that moment, I realized… She wasn’t just leaving me. She was walking away from late-night gist. From jollof rice that always had too much pepper. From shared earphones, broken dreams, and plans we made without knowing life had other ideas. --- We never spoke again after that day. But sometimes I wonder if she still remembers: The time we danced in the rain because Uber cancelled on us The time we got lost in Yaba and laughed our way into a random buka The time we made promises we had no business making — but meant every word --- 💔 I don’t miss the relationship. I miss who I was when I was with her. I miss the soft version of me that didn’t know what heartbreak tastes like. Funny how people leave, and you become someone else in their absence. --- Not every love story ends with a kiss. Some end with growth. Some end with grief. Some just… end. But if you’re lucky, you carry a piece of them that turns into poetry. Like this post. --- #Love #Nostalgia #BrokenButWiser #PoetryOfAbsence #RandomRomanticThoughts #NairalandDiaries ---

I didn’t plan to write this. But after narrowly escaping a ₦3.6M loss from buying a problem car in Lagos… I had to speak up. You see, many of us think buying a used car is just about checking the engine, repainting, or bargaining well. But in this Nigeria? There are landmines. Legal ones. Criminal ones. Financial ones. I learnt the hard way when a sweet deal turned sour the moment I said, > “Let me just run a quick check.” The seller flared up like NEPA transformer. His next words made my chest tight: > “Oga if you no wan buy, abeg leave am. Serious buyer dey come.” Turns out? That car was possibly stolen. And that 1 casual check I almost skipped could’ve had me facing police wahala or worse — car seizure. So I started asking questions. Police officers. VIO officials. Customs insiders. Even dealers confessed things I wasn’t ready to hear. --- 🎯 The Result? A no-fluff, straight-to-the-jugular checklist: ✅ The paper that proves a car isn’t stolen (most “first owners” don’t even have it) ✅ The type of car dealers that smile at you, but hide flagged histories ✅ How to tell if a car was ever used for Yahoo runs, robbery or kidnapping ✅ Why your mechanic might miss the 1 sign that says “RUN!” ✅ A free online tool that can expose a fake clearance story in 3 minutes ✅ Bonus: The new tinted glass trick used by road police to extort fresh car buyers ✅ And how to chop ₦200k off a car price using simple buyer psychology (no shouting) --- I’m giving the checklist out FREE. No sales. No DMs for money. Just information that could save your life, your wallet, and your name. --- 👊 If you’re buying a car anytime this year (or even next), you need this. Just say “I’m interested” in the comments or check my profile. That’s it. --- 🧠 PS: I’m not an auto expert. I’m just a guy who almost fell for a clean scam and decided to find out what really goes on behind the scenes. --- MODS — this is bigger than a guide. This is public safety info. labake1:😂 No be me o. But maybe your guy just realize say peace of mind sweet pass long text. Sometimes we men just want small sanity. No be beef. No be game. If the energy no dey mutual, why force am? |
To be honest, this thing pain me when I first realize am. You go dey try talk to her steady, morning and night… But the more you text, the more she just dey distant. I no know say na over-texting dey reduce value like this. Now I dey do soft. No too much talk. Make her miss me first. Make una learn o. Girls no dey tell you these things. |
There’s something painful about buying a car in Nigeria—especially used ones. You save, you hustle, you pay… only to later discover you overpaid for a car with hidden faults, messed-up papers, or artificially inflated price. It happened to me too. I almost dropped ₦3.6M on a Toyota Camry that wasn't even worth ₦2.7M. Why? Because of emotional buying + dealer psychology + lack of insider knowledge. Let me tell you what they won’t teach you on YouTube: --- 7 Things Every Nigerian Should Know Before Buying a Used Car (Especially from Dealers): 1. Most Prices Are Inflated by 20–40% Car dealers add margins based on vibes, not necessarily market value. If you don’t know how to check true valuation, you’ll pay premium for nothing. 2. Tokunbo ≠ Clean Title Just because it landed from Cotonou or America doesn’t mean it’s clean. Some are auction scraps revived by panel beaters. Always ask for auction history or chassis check. 3. Some Cars Are Technically Stolen (But Legally Sold) No joke. If police ever stops you and checks, you may find yourself explaining what you can’t prove. 4. Odometer Lies Are a Culture That “low mileage” is often adjusted. I’ve seen a 2010 Camry magically showing 38,000km. LOL. Use tools or get an expert to verify. 5. Some Dealers Don’t Know Jack About the Car’s Health They just wash, shine, and smile. That’s all. Your best defense? Bring your own mechanic or use a checklist before parting with money. 6. First Body? Who Dash Monkey Banana? Everybody says it’s "First Body" until you scrape paint and discover otherwise. 7. Car Verification is Your Shield Simple things like Police vehicle check, VIN lookup, or stolen status check can save you from regret. --- Since that day, I made it a mission to learn how car sellers think, how to verify, how to inspect, and how to price-down confidently. I’ve saved friends and colleagues hundreds of thousands using these tips. If you’re planning to buy a car soon—be guided. Don’t rush because of shine and rims. Buy with sense. If you want, I can even share my personal checklist and online tool links for proper car checks. Just comment “Checklist” below and I’ll drop it publicly. Let’s stop being victims. |
