1pcs Litime 12v 100ah LiFePO4 battery 2pcs Redodo 12v 100ah LiFePO4 battery 1pcs PowMr 12v 100ah LiFePO4 battery up for sale. I bought all of them from US.
Reason for selling: Was using them in series as a 48v battery bank, but I have now bought a single piece 16kwhr Deriy battery and I want to sell these ones.
Price per piece: N195,000. If you buy all four batteries which is 5kwhr.. Price: N750,000
Each battery still pulls full capacity. You can run a capacity test on them with your shunt. If you buy all 4, I can give you an external equalizer for free

Hello, experts in the house. I intend to go fully offgrid. But I am worried this may not be fully feasible for me during raining season. If there is no PHCN atall for two straight days and there is no sun for two straight days, I enter panic mode immediately reducing all loads to the barest minimum. Three days cloudy day and my battery dies. I intend to supplement with using generator to charge my battery. One day full charge of my battery can carry me for two to three days without sun or grid. I have heard most inverters dont play nice with petrol generators. Is there anybody using Petrol generator to supplement sun or grid. How can I get this to work for me without spoiling my inverter. I have a 15kwhr battery and a 5kw spf growatt inverter. |

Drgreatone: Late to this discuss but I'd say from personal experience, the reason ur inverter wont carry a 1.3kw load may be cause of ur battery. Had the sms variant and my battery's bms of 100amps limited it. U may have an issue with ur charging settings, u sud call ur installer to check and if it doesn't work, use ur warranty. They have a better customer care than most of the other chinese makes Nope it is not my battery. I have 4pcs of 12v batteries connected together in parallel. Each battery’s BMS is rated for 100A discharge so I can discharge as high as 400A if I want to. Neither is it my settings. I have another inverter that doesn’t give me that headache. I would have said let me claim my warranty, but their office is too far for me plus, I dont have the energy of back and forth with these people |

ask4bk: Recommendation needed.
For big house with plenty rooms, no inductive loads of AC, heaters or pumps,.... Only fridges and freezers plus other stuffs that all in all won't pass 4kwh use...
What inverter you advice me to use between these?
Sako 11kw, Gospower 12kw, Cworth 12kw - all high frequency Or felicity IVPM 10kva transformer based.
Need quality assurance for many years usage.
Help me with suggestion pls. You said No AC, no Heat Pumps, just Fridge Freezer and other regular appliances that wont pass 4KW… So why are you looking at 11KW and 12KW inverters. Have you heard of something called idle power consumption of inverters before? The bigger your inverter, the higher the idle power consumption(meaning you will waste more of your battery). If your load is not more than 4KW, just buy Growatt SPF 5000ES from Fouani. If your load increases above 4000W in the future, you can buy a second SPF5000 as it allows you to do parallel connection |

HeavenlyBang: No. Microwaves and air fryers have no surge.
Ultimately larger air fryers will have higher power draw, since their heating elements will also be larger. I have a 4L one that only pulls about 1.35kw. Airfryers surge sir. My Hisense starts with 2400W then drops to 1200/1300/1400W. Thesame thing with Non-inverter microwaves. THEY SURGE ooooooo |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by easyyoke: 12:35am On Jul 11, 2025 |
dollarnaira: Please I need real users of regular energy efficient microwave and air fryer. Recommendations pls. Energy efficient and Airfryer/Microwave does not really go together in thesame sentence. I use Hisense 6Ltr. Airfryer. Consumption is between 1200 and 1500W. The surge startup power can go as high as 2400W but the regular power draw is 1200-1500W. As for Microwave, you can do the small 700W 20liter versions but unfortunately they take time to heat up your food plus you may not see the inverter version(the ones that start up without a surge). And in 2025, if you are buying any electronics, once there is an inverter version of it, it is better you go for the inverter version. LG has many inverter microwave but their power consumption is still between 1100W and 2000W depending on the Liter you buy. |

Programmed Home Assistant using YAML for various automation, and created sensors from mqtt stream from SA. Influxdb for database. It also shows live individual power consumption of each devices in the house through smart plugs HA integration and custom auto-entites.
Since we going all in on renewable energy, gas hobs were replaced with ‘real’ induction cooker (max 3000w on highest settings with all 4 burners on, enamel cast iron pots).
Average daily load 30kW (Home Assistant programmed to do load management automatically, with pv forecast, so 3 AC, Induction hob, water heater, microwave , airfryer etc, every device is connected and will never exceed the 6000W rating of the inverter)
100 percent off grid, ie Island mode, no physical connection to grid. The wife is happy, I’m happy.
If you need any guidance on home assistant coding for your set up, you can private message me. Bro where did you get your Deye Inverter and how much did you get it |

brightk: hmm n de tend to balance well. Do u monitor the individual 12v batteries I have an external equalizer that has a screen on it that shows me each battery’s voltage. I also, from time to time, go to the batteries to measure their voltage with my volt meter to make sure the reading is accurate and indeed the equalizer keeps all of them in thesame voltage. |

TCD: Hello Pardon my question please.
i thought its not workable to parallel two lithium battries of differnt brands. could you please break down how you were able to safely acheive this?
also are the two batteries same capacity? Lol. I have four different brands of LIFEPO4 batteries paralleled together. I have been using it for 2years plus. You can parallel even different capacity as the internal resistance of each battery will tell your charger which battery to supply higher amps. Recently I connected the four different 12v battery in series(using an external equalizer) to make 48V 100ah, then I paralleled the 4 to another single 48v 100ah using a bus bar. Manufacturers telling you not to parallel their batteries with other brands is BS so far the batteries are thesame chemistry(i.e you cannot parralel Lead Acid with Lithium). |

Dam5reey1: If you have an idea of how many units that version has sold in Nigeria that few weeks ago there was no stock, be it sms, sako, sunfied, PowMr, you wont say this.
Its only issues we post and see here. Thousands are enjoying their systems with no issues. They have sold thousands of units does not negate the fact that Sako inverter is a poorly designed inverter. Why should an inverter fan be spinning that loud 24hours even with just 30w load. Why should an inverter be called 2Kva when it cannot carry more than 1200w. It is cheap, hence it will sell. |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by easyyoke: 6:32pm On Jul 05, 2025 |
Dam5reey: Na una no wan hear Sako Again Sako service not bad.. As A DIY we do Sako I hope this installation is for yourself and not for a client sha, cos when this inverter wahala starts, omo! 1. This nonsense inverter is extremely loud whether my load is 10W or 1000w. It is screaming in my ear all day. Very terrible extremely loud fans. 2. I got the 2kva own, once my load passes 1300w, the baba goes off immediately. Even at 0.8power coefficient, it should be able to power loads up to 1600w. I am wondering why they called it 2kva when it clearly cannot handle more than 1300w load 3. All of a sudden it doesn’t charge my battery more than 15A. I have done all the necessary settings. It seem to be misreading my battery voltage. Only when my battery is extremely low that it starts charging. Once my battery don reach 30% like this, it believes the battery is full and stops charging. Thank God I am only using it as a backup. Sako batteries are said to be good, but you see this their inverters, you are on your own |

brightk: u won't even see 26A from ur total pv so u re gud to go. Even if see above 22A, the inverter will clip d power towards its max.. I have a 6s2p (jinko 580w) on an ivem 5048 inverter with max input current of 20A. my own view is dat if u see 70% from ur pv output u re fine. Certain factors limit wat u can get from ur pv, sun direction, title angle, intensity of sun irradiance, cable distance, cable size etc. I thought as much. Thank you |

AndroBlaze: You should be fine as long as cabling and so on is done properly as what you are doing is pretty modest. Seeing as this is a slow day on here, I'll quote the best post from diysolar on this:
https://diysolarforum.com/threads/can-i-over-panel-a-growatt.58714/ The good things I heard about overpaneling with Growatt was one of the reasons I went for their brand (yet to overpanel though). There is even a guy their claiming he had 23kw connected to my 5kw inverter with no issues lol. Wow. Thank you so much. This answers all my Questions. And I had even asked on DIYsolarforum, I did not even notice this thread there. Thanks so much |

Make una epp me abeg, my ogas easyyoke: My Ogas at the top, Abeg, my Jinko Solar Panels are not producing more than 65-68% of their rated output. They were purchased at Foauni so I know I did not buy fake but I think it is the position of my roof that is not making me see above 68%. Ideally most days, I constantly get about 50% rated power especially as there is mostly clouds these days so I am planning to massively overpanel my setup. I have a Growatt ES3500 Inverter that allows 450V max Vmp and 22Amp Isc and Maximum power at 4500W. I currently have 7pcs 555w Jinko Panel with Vmp 40.9 and Isc 13A. All connected in series. I intend to add another 7pcs. To make 7s2p. My only worry is, this means my Isc will now be 26A. The spec on the inverter says 22A max. I have read in many places that so far you dont go above the rated Voltage input you will be fine. Has anybody overpanelled their setup and will I be fine with this setup |

Iinnov8: A major disadvantage of solar generators and similar portable all-in-one power solutions is that most of them are proprietary solutions with unique parts and components. This locks you to the original seller or whoever compiled it such that you have to return to them if you have an issue or even to make simple upgrades or alterations, and they will support you or provide extra accessories or add-ons at premium prices.
Go to the Powerbank thread you created and see how users are breaking their heads on how to connect their portable solutions to solar. I see that you are even looking for a repairer to fix your power station
That is why most of us here advocate for normal inverter-battery installations where you have leeway to modify your installations as you like and you can easily get support or assistance because it is very common.
And to think that some of these portable solutions are nearly twice as expensive of their equivalents in normal inverter-battery installations is all the more shocking.
PS: If you are in Lagos, reach me so that I can refer you to a very capable hand that may be able to fix your power station. Boss, can you link me up with any engineer that may be able to fix an Ecoflow Powerstation damaged by Lighting. Like you rightly said, most powerstations will indeed need to return to the manufacturer for repair. Ecoflow says they dont have a service center in Nigeria. They instead decided to send me a new one. So now I have a bricked shining powerstation sitting down dead at home. But I was thinking, even if I cant repair it, engineers should be able to extract out the battery inside the powerstation and repurpose it so that the battery inside does not just waste like that. What do you think |

ask4bk: The man in that video has been debunked as false. If you knew the charging curve of LFP you won't say this. When charging from 3.39v sef to 3.65 is sharp upward line that could take only 3 minutes to attain. When discharging, LFP takes same quick time to move from 3.65 to 3.37 then begins an almost straight but long curve to 2.6 or below. Keeping charge at 3.65v you are not only producing heat but putting it at the high threshold and risking overcharging errors. It's good to keep it far from 3.65v to be save from charger errors, and for LFP, be it 3.4v or 3.65v, it won't take 5 minutes to return it's sitting voltage of 3.31-3.37 This guy, you dey always amuse me with your comments🤣🤣🤣🤣 Will Prowse debunked as false… By who?😂 Your local government chairman?😂 Before you even knew anything called solar, Will Prowse has been cutting batteries in and out. Even though this your comment has been more than a month, I couldn’t help but laugh😂😂😂 He say na debunked as false. Even Tesla now advise their users whose cars come with LIFEPO4 battery to charge to 100% as Lithium Ion Phosphate chemistry is not the-same as NMC which is the one everyone is advised to charge to 80%. Also, you said “over-charging errors”. What do you think the BMS in your batteries do? This guy😂😂 |
