drered:Growatt inverters consume too much power o. Is your load that plent? If your load is not up to 2000W, buying the growatt will 1. Be a waste of Money 2. Growatt 3kw inverter is said to use 50W on its own on stanby. That is a lot of power that the inverter will be consuming on its own. But since your system is a 48V system, I dont think you will see any 48V inverter lesser than 2.5Kw upwards but bear in my mind that it consumes a lot ot power. Many youtube videos testify to that |
drered:All Batteries whether Lithium or Lead Acid or AGMs or LifePO4 all output and input DC Power. So all your inverters and charge controller are still compatible. There is however a caveat. Some Lithium batteries comes with BMS inbuilt(Battery Management System) to protect the batteries from over charge, over discharge etc. So when you charge your Lithium battery that has a built in BMS, when the battery is full, the BMS shuts off the battery so that it does not receive any charge again to prevent over charging that can damage your battery. If your Charge controller is all this very cheap PWM controller, you may run into problem with this. As soon as the BMS shuts off the battery, your PWM controller becomes confused and does not know again if your battery is a 12V, 24V or 48V battery. And in this case, it just continues to output the exact voltage coming in from your solar panel. So if your solar panel is a 24V solar panel with a Voc of 33V, it is that 33V that your cheap PWM controller Will output. If you have a 12v or even 24 V inverter connected to your battery, it will burn your inverter immediately. This has happened to me. So if your charge controller is a cheap PWM controller, make sure you change it to a good MPPT charge controller. That way, if your battery BMS shuts off as soon as the battery is full, your MPPT charge controller still knows/remembers the voltage of your battery and doesnt just output exactlt the voltage coming in from your battery |
Ritcheyy:My office is about 8Km away from my house. I carry it to my office everyday and it works flawlessly. About 8Km away from my home address. Albeit the speed may drop a little the father away from your registered address but it works for me. I mostly get 90mbps 8km away from home and get about 150mbps at home |
Bonzojoko:Do you have money in the account? I saw someone somewhere say they will debit you N50 to validate your card when you try to add it which they will return later. So maybe you are using a zero balance card. I have not personally tried it sha as this increase to 38K per month from December still dey vex me. Because even if you try to use dollar card now to pay, the amount that will be deducted wont even be $42 again, it will be higher |
What service do you provide on fiverr? clinician2x: |
Baba, I have checked my mail like 6times today hoping to get update from them. Make he no be say all these virtual card people don go convince starlink to change their mind. The suspence nawa😂 dustmalik: |
Valto:Chai. So there is fake panel too? |
Hello guys, on Jiji, there are some Alaba guys selling 300W Canadian used panel for N40,000. I dont know, is this price ok or na 100W panel dem dey package as 300W. Is there a way to really know the full capacity of panels? |
ibawon:Mad o! 1.1TB for just one month. Wetin una dey download and stream😂😂😂 Mad o. That is like 100K subscription on glo for a meagre 2MB/S speed. Somebody will now come and tell me starlink is a waste of money |
ibawon:Boss, cancel ke? What happened? Why do you want to cancel? Is it that the service is not good again? Or why? And when you cancel, how do you intend to get back to it? Or is your service RV that can be paused? |
Jakumo:Did you just call 85MBPS, “paltry”? 😂😅 No be your fault. Na Elon Musk give you mouth to talk. Some people on Fibre in Lagos cant even boast of 50MBPS… You dey call 85MBPS paltry |
Looks like Starlink is about to start allowing Naira card as from next month. Did anybody else get this mail?

Has anyone manually paid for their starlink monthly subscription? I am trying to manually do it rather than automatically wait. Their T&C says "A statement (invoice) will generate 7 days prior to the due date as a reminder for upcoming charges each month. Find the statement in your account and in your email. You can make an early payment manually in your account within this 7 day period prior to your due date" However when I log in to my account whether via the web or mobile app, and I click "Make A Payment" under the "Balance Due" section it keeps saying "Unable to make a payment". I am using my GTBank Dollar card which is also what I used to order for the Starlink hardware. I dont like leaving dollar in my GTBank Dollar Card Balance. So I was hoping manually paying would work. But it has not been working. Has anyone manually payed before. Or payment is only Autodebitted in Nigeria. |
Are you married? If you are not married, you may potentially continue to have anxiety(Pregnancy anxiety, STDs anxiety, Even performance anxiety - more like you may unnecessarily start to think about how another guy maybe performing well than you with her). All of this may compound the issue. Sex inside marriage is usually the best. No anxiety whatsover. Even if you encounter a problem like this, you and your wife can always sit down to discuss it and find a way out. You can also discuss other ways to pleasure her that may not necessarily involve penetration. But ofcos, this is in the confines of marriage. You can barely do all of this with someone you are not married to. |
Is anyone experiencing this constant network issues. It isnt really affecting my download speed or internet experience. I get as high as 20MB/s download speed(150mbps) and the lowest I get most times is 3MB/s(24mbps). And all my video streams in 4K(Netflix, Amazon Prime, Showmax, DSTV Now) all stream perfectly. But when I check the app and see this, I am usually wondering, is this normal. My dishy is placed somewhere with zero obstruction

RV was never at any point available in Nigeria till it was scrapped and changed to Roam globally. Subscribers in Nigeria were only allowed to pay additional $10 for portablity. Portability was later scrapped and Nigerians now have access to Roam. dustmalik: |
Ex0rrcist:RV is not available in Nigeria yet. Only residenial. |
I hope that is not paper tape I am seeing sha😂😂 Because one strong wind like this, and you can start singing Otilor. N500 to hold down N460K hardware. You get mind o. What did you use ibawon: |
Mad o. 20 starlinks? I thought they said there is no money in Nigeria😂😂 EPOMA: |
Is anybody having issues with the delivery of their starlink dish? Starlink sent me message since Friday that the dish has shipped. As suggested by some people on this thread, I called DHL to ask if my phone number was included, they said No, It wasnt included that I should go and update my number on starlink's website. I said my number is already updated on starlink as I can clearly see my number on my starlink account. I asked the DHL customer agent, if He can help me add my number... He said No, that only the shipper(Starlink) can edit/add new details to the shipment. What is the way forward guys? DHL Website shows the item will get to me on Thursday. But how will they reach me? |
Ournolly:Where is this? I mean location and is your dish placed on a pole? |
emmyvet:This worked. I used the button down/thumbs down button option. And it allowed me to send a mail to support. They replied almost immediately and gave me $42 one month free subscription to apologize. I thought people said it usually takes them many days before customer service respond. These people responded almost immediately. And apologized for the delay and said I should be patient. Thank you bro for telling us this. Atleast one month sub have been paid for like that. Edit: My hardware shipped 10 minutes after contacting support.
