tobby98: I partly agree, but not totally, if there's surge which most times is as a result of weather, driver scarcity etc the surge would generally be on all apps. Bolt surge is usually sweeter coz most times a 17k trip may eventually get to be 24k at completion. The catch for Indrive is not be eager to accept orders but patience and selective trips. I would advise using both for best results The weather is no 1 factor for recent surge. Especially when it rains before 7am and also rains b4 4-5pm |

TUBLEZ: I don’t like Uber prices unless it’s priority but what u can’t take from them is in a situation like this and best in traffic and waiting time too , that’s why I don’t get angry waiting for riders on Uber 😆 this trip was 6600 got additional 1800 for waiting for shout 9 mins The day one lady waited(aprox. 25mins) in supermarket for a 5mins trip. Immediately her countdown finish i just see "CHARGING RIDER FOR SURGE WAITING" i message the madam she say dem never see her transfer okay oo, when we later start trip reach destination and i end trip check price na both of us shout HAAA when we see price thank God i followed the route she told me to pass. |

tobby98: Them don feel the heat, tbh, most drivers just avoided Bolt and they felt it. Most folks i carried told me how it is hard to get ride on Bolt most times but easier with Indrive. The woman i carried last week in lekki said she has spent 4hrs looking for Driver on Bolt b4 i picked her. I was shocked, she had to collect my contact for offline against next time |

tobby98: As someone who uses both Indrive and Bolt, I think Indrive is better as we speak, the freedom to see where you're going to is underrated(Coz i don't go everywhere and anywhere) and the surge on Indrive is about to be making sense now. I am team Indrive for now. Surge on indrive is sponsored by Bolt & Uber surge. So riders run away from them to come and bid lower on Indrive, na u go compare both apps b4 accepting I dey comot 10% for dem, if dem no gree make dem go order the surge price on Bolt or let another driver carry dem. |

tobby98: Resumed fully back today after a while away. I guess they've increased fare a bit coz it is a bit improvement from what it used to be but it is not enough, fuel is not cheap. Another factor could be the weather that increased price a bit. God help us
Started from 12 and closed by 6pm. This was achieved with 20k fuel. 20k usually gross 60k minimum before now it barely does 50k. If na Bolt, your account ratings go suffer b4 u get desired trips Na why i abandon Bolt, my account don near Blocking |

Glithronix: Bolt na weyrey app if you ask me. Imagine if na only dem dey the e-hailing market, many drivers for dey beg?! They're so cunning and week*head. Yes, their fares fit better when surge dey, does that mean they should turn drivers into slaves? I don't know how much a driver wan make on bolt wey I no fit make, or never made on indrive. Yéyé app.

ABS na mad thing to worry car. I don dey ignore ABS light warning for weeks, naso motor steering just stiff for express on high speed yesterday, steering wheel icon show for dashboard, speedometer no work, Odometer sef no dey count. I sha struggle to reach destination. I first think say na water don spoil my steering rack , i gast loose both legs dey trouble shoot ABS till i discovered wires were cut. I re-tie then drive for 2 mins, i don almost give up say i go begin spend money on finding fault that could either be Transmission sensor, ABS sensor, Steering rack issue etc. Thank God it worked back, omo |

Only bolt can frustrate drivers like this Very useless app with cunny ways |

Kumuyiii: I answered ur question my bro, i don't know what else you wanna hear that you've not heard b4.... The effect on ur car will not be the same across board... Some people edey even affect gear, it's complex but yh. Am i enjoying it? Bro even if i was in electric, i still won't enjoy the job as it is now, prices are terrible, becus request dey low.... People are poor man, people can't feed.... APc don finish this country... Na who belle full to reason ride... People dey do walking competition now. Wo
YOU CAN'T OUT-HUSTLE A DYING ECONOMY, you cant. Price no improve, riders reduced except the wealthy ones or those in tight situation, shitty trips are picked by fastest fingers drivers |

Kumuyiii: Cng is na 50/50, e fit marry ur car you go enjoy am...if eno marry am well, ur experience will be tedious.
The main issue is the poor pricing and low requests, caused by competition... I don't see a solution on the horizon.
Cng stations are few, queue na water, i don't see that improving soon, cus to open cng station is bare expensive.
Imo electric is the way if you intend to do this hustle for long.
ABOVE ALL, GET UR PVC AND VOTE THIS PLAGUE OUT!!
We suppose dey use fuel, who the hell knew what cng was b4 this curse of a man came to power? Now i no fit even fire my car well 🤦♂️. Can you switch from CNG to Petrol mid speed on 3rd mainland bridge? |
