Jegheter: Yes EV is the future of automobile but not in Nigeria and definitely not as e hailing in the nearest future. Nigeria cannot support EV just yet and it will take another 20years to.
For now cng is better Investment than EV before u take 60m n buy EV I as a creditor will rather grant a facility for buying 10 big daddies V6 and cng all and hand to a receiver manager/fleet management team. Bro I tell u, u will make more money and have cars as going concern than the person that invests in EV today. Ev cannot be sustained just yet in Nigeria You are correct 100% if not for Petrol price i prefer Petrol fuelled car than CNG. Or getting small capacity cars like Toyota Prius(Hybrid), Honda fit, Toyota Yaris etc Now that the Strait is opened lets see what would happen next? |

Dabadwela: Ehailing is an average man business?
See the mentality wey una get sef
I spit on una Lol, average man not poor man. No vex na richman business. Na why indrive fit thrive with rickety cars with poor conditions. If Bolt & Uber raise the standards for Cars like in Europe & US how many vehicles go remain? Even if you be huge investor buy fleet of cars, na average man go still be ur driver. Thats when people dont want to pay more than 300K salary |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Eazilyfe: 8:47am On Apr 18 |
northbird: My advise is stick to what's working for you. EV has no future with ehailing maybe CNG.
Do you have a standby Technical person in case of repairs or a standard workshop. My bro, EV is the future of car Ask yourself why US & CHINA moved from gas to EV and didnt consider CNG? Infact na only India & Nigeria i see PR for CNG. Why EV wont work in nigeria yet is because we dont have 24/7 electricity, Good roads and there are so many EV to confuse drivers on which to buy as the no 1 EV(TESLA) is expensive for an average man. Ehailing is an average man business, so what an average man cant afford wont thrive, for example corolla made Uber, bolt thrive All the EV on our roads are quit expensive, so when a company give drivers on HP the repayment will always be like slavery. Companies will always consider their profit 100% before they think of you |

Kumuyiii: 90km from ajah... Run a free campaign na, i don't know how some of you think. You reach Ijebu, riders full there dey wait for you to carry come back abi? 50k, kuku carry 5 naira. Na una dey spoil this work. You think it's all about buyin fuel that day. You don work the work many years yet you don't want to adopt the wisdom to grow in it. Out of state trip and some of you lot are saying 50-65k, as how? When i charge 80k to ikeja becus person asked me to wait 3hrs, 110k to ikeja go and come(albeit the person was nice), my charge was 70k....so if i wan comot lagos state, return empty to civilization, I go collect 50k? Ire o After you collect 50K, buy fuel 30K then blow empty dey come lagos .... even Uber & Bolt with their nonsense pricing wont take less than 90K plus |

rapheal5: Here is the earnings of January and February of my brother, though he works 3, 4 to 5 days a week due to car maintenance. He works 12 to 14hrs any day he choose to work. During the 2 months he bought fuel at 730 per litre and he bought 45k fuel each day. My first question is, as a driver who works 12 to 14 hours how much is he suppose to net after removing fuel money at the end of the day. For those who didn’t see my first post concerning my brother earning on bolt, he drives 2006 4plug big daddy. E dey feel asif e dey work see earnings for app but Bank account no increase abi |

Jesustheking: Greetings my senior men
I'm new to this line of work although I have read a lot of info on this platform since last year
I owned big daddy Camry and I started work last weekend although I used indrive only except for yesterday that I used bolt
I used 20k fuel to gross 40k and after deductions for charges and fuel I'm left with just 15k
Pls I need advice on how I can be more efficient
Also should I be looking for long trips instead of all these 3k fare that's every where because from the few days I have worked I noticed that long trips is less stressful than short ones.
You input will be appreciated
Kindly note that I run a personal business which I resumed by 10am and can close by 3pm if I like No advice wey dem wan give you wey go pass experience and soon you will master your routes/mode of working. Me for example i use Indrive, Bolt & Uber. Long trips are good if it leads you to good zone. I no fit carry Long trip from Ikeja to Ikorodu on a afternoon/weekday when i suppose dey city dey chop small trips except its a destination trip So most things you will learn are thru driving and experiencing it, Bad trips will teach you not to repeat such mistake again. Na to make money be ur top most concern. So do what favours you, with time you will learn rides not to take and the ones to take. ehailing is TIMING & POSITIONING |

LivelyBic: Good day comrades. Plz I'm new to this hustle. I've been reading some of your comments and from what I've read here I can deduce that the hustle isn't all that like b4. So but man must survive. I have a challenge right now and I'd need you guys to help give guardians. I have a Rav4 4plug 2007 which I have been using for private. So buh I want to use it for this buisness for just this year bcus I took a loan for a buisness but tinz dint go as planned which made paying hard. I work 9 to 5 and during weekends I'm free. So my plan is to work from 5 to 11pm during weekdays then weekend full time. With this fuel wahala is it possible for me to net 200k per month so I can use it together with my salary to offset the loan monthly. I don't want to convert to cng as it's just this year. It is possible, me too just started. Register Uber, Bolt & Indrive. You will still have a preferred app among those 3 as time goes on but each app has its own purpose. And you learn to use them well to get Trips(good trips). You must have read through the recent discussions, you just need to start to get the experience. If you have any challenges post it so people can help/advice. Good luck boss |
