Mine is always low cause I am super picky about rides I accept, which should be in my right anyway.

Not all drivers know the same places, or are willing to go to same places, at the same rates and so on and so on.

They reset it, but I usually do like 7-10 rides a day out of like 120+ possible requests, so mine was already down without me even knowing, after the reset.

This is just some unnecessary obstacle by Bolt, cause who does it benefit to block drivers like me for low acceptance rates?

I was still paying commission to Bolt for my 7-10 rides per day

I was still conveying 7-10 people/groups per day

So how is it logical to remove me simply cause I have a low ratio of my 10 trips to all possible incoming requests?

Anyways, gonna use only destination trips on Bolt for the foreseeable future and maybe do my 10 trips on Sunday only and accept sooner so ratio is higher, so accept 10 of the first 30 trips or so

BOLT can't just let their drivers be. Even good drivers that don't do offline shh. Always coming up with demonic ways to block drivers for stupid reasons.

So for Bolt, it's better to get less commission from me, if I only do 2 destination trips and thus maintain a SUPERB acceptance rate, than to pay them 10 trips worth of commission with a 7 percent acceptance rate

Imagine being penalized for all the incoming requests on indrive?

I have once carried a rider, while on the trip, I took a traffic free route but the rider wants me to take a certain route that has traffic and also longer in distance. I told her you can’t dictate where to pass for me as long as the route I’m passing is an alternative route to your destination, the rider insisted i take her route or i take her back to where I picked her up. She was shocked when I turned back and started driving her back to the pick up, she even made a call to her husband and that phool too was commanding me on the phone and telling me do I want to kidnap his wife. I didn’t answer them and just drove another 5km back to her pick up, I could see the regret in her eyes cox she couldn’t believe I will take her back.


I don’t care if I’m loosing fuel but you can’t control me inside my car even though I’m rendering a service to you.

Bro, what standard are you talking about, this is an alliance of brutal price cutting syndicates. First uber came in and priced out yellow cab, airport taxi and private cab operators out of the market, then Bolt said two can play the game, and Bolt showed uber, that it is a learner in the price cutting model, then came the baba of them all, Indrive, uber could no longer stand the heat in the kitchen, and zoomed off with their Moove.
It is obvious that indrive pricing model is primed for a society with shrinking disposable income. Indrive will not bother you about some ambiguous car inspection exercise, is the torture of obtaining a road worthiness certificate not enough, indrive believe passengers ratings and comments will expose drivers with bad cars. I have never been blocked by indrive, bolt has severally blocked me without even given me an opportunity to defend myself (i guess my 4.8+ rating means nothing to them). Honestly the economics looks bad for Bolt, unless they urgently reduce their commission.

Regardless of the price, there are people/companies who still use Bolt. Now it takes forever to get a ride on bolt because drivers and riders have left them. For their peace of mind they use Lagride.

Carried this lady at 1004 VI last week in the evening and she was begging me not to cancel because it tooj hours before she can get a ride. Some dont like the bargain & poorly maintained Indrive cars coming to pick them.

I give them 1-2yrs max they will fold up if they dont make amends.

I took my offline rider to liasu road ikotun and decided to look for a ride back to Ojodu on indrive. I eventually saw 1 with a very very very ridiculous price to ogunnusi road from egbeda bus stop and highest bid was 6300. I decided to do it to cover for fuel only for the rider to tell me it’s delivery, I asked for picture of the goods and he sent picture of 4 big boxes with a small fridge, i just vex cancel the ride begin dey drive home.

This work can test someone’s patience and tolerance now

To be honest, that's why I stopped complaining of price. A suitable increase is not affordable by the average rider, and correct me if I'm wrong but there seems to be a decline in riders especially on bolt in recent times compared to earlier in the year.

The Decline is unavailability of drivers, and riders prefer Indrive open marketplace to bargain price & fares.

Brothers I need help urgently..my fuel pump just pack up and see wetin rewire wan use put inside me fuel pump back. According to him, he rejoined the wires there and had to use nylon to cover it because black tape can't be used inside the fuel tank.
Camry v4 2011, I paid 40k and was told they'd buy Belgium complete.

That is not the issue actually, it's the high cost of fuel and terrible prices out here, it's not by posting dashboard, afrerall this app coys have access to this data. This is what I made yesterday. 59k on Indrive and 18k on Bolt. The fuel cost was the major headache. I used 35k fuel to achieve this. 77k-35k less 1k for airtime equals=41k net. Imagine I was on CNG or electric.

Fuel takes atleast 70% of Gross income now.

Either fuel price reduces or Bolt/indrive increase base fares by 20-30%. It will still not be as expensive as LagRide.

Bolt taxation from the government makes it difficult to reduce its own commission while competition makes it difficult for them to increase its price. The effect is on the drivers. Drivers are suffering.

This was fair price but still 3 price options. Dem dey on & off am maybe.

Boss, Mifi is a small portable wifi device.

Its single purpose is to provide internet for your devices.

When i still dey use my S22 Ultra do Hotspot for car android still on Navigation and apps with almost 24/7 screen on. Phone no gree charge as i plug am until e cool, it went on and on until one day i was going to pick a sweet ride naso phone off rider cancelled as she couldnt reach me. Next day i went to MTN office to get Mifi and all my problems was resolved.

Thanks boss for the response. Do you sync the phone to the Android so that once you receive a ride request it just opens on the Android screen. Or do u type in the rider's destination on the Android screen?

I used Android Auto before, but now i sync just my Map from phone to the Android screen

It has GPS & Antenna, that makes it easier to navigate, Play Spotify, etc with using my phone.

Morning bosses. Pls how do you guys deal with phones overheating while using the Bolt Driver app and Google Maps?

Mine overheats a lot even when I'm running just these two apps. And most times the apps will just close. And then I'd have to turn off the phone and wait for sometime. It can be really frustrating cuz sometimes it does this mid ride, and then I'll start begging riders to give me directions.

I use a Samsung S20 with a Snapdragon chip. It's 6gm RAM.

Clear your phone memory to get more space/storage

You can buy a Pocket mifi then connect your phone

GPS, Mobile network, Background apps etc are the main culprits.

I use my MTN mifi with Phone and Android screen in my car to reduce phone stress

If it doesn't then it seems the scanner can only read General codes for the gear system and not the manufacturer specific ones.

It is still good value for a Bluetooth enabled type of scanner with all these features available by default

Yeah boss, its a bidirectional scanner abi how dem dey call am.

Your vehicle or vehicle ECU features and spec determines what it can do too.

There are better scanners but this does the work for me no stress.

Yes boss, still the same Scanner.

The image showed DTC(error code) for each category after a deep scan. So i will click and analyse, Live data or do active test on sensors.
