I’m dragging the issue with support ..like having 70 percent acceptance rate to beating down my score to 38 under 2 days cause I avoided some ridiculous trip which I have always done so in the past, worst still 9 min which I normally get as out of radius for a trip now shows as normal trip and I don’t take way too long pick up distance ..each miss one point goes down which doesn’t make sense ..think I might just go back to Uber and Indrive for now ..

If 1 decline made u lose 1 point, u will need 3 consecutive acceptance & trip completion to make that 1 point back.

You decline or rider declines, na u go lose point.

To all my CNG brothers! God has finally installed one for me ooo.... but small small issues dey.
1. I noticed Significant LAG when accelerating.
2. My car deylay in changing gear, its now 3000 RPM instead of 2000 RPM which is not so on petrol. Pls any positive advice is welcome. Thanks in anticipation.

Maybe you should scan the car if you noticed check engine light.

Spark plugs, coil, service throttle body etc.

Yesterday at Gbagada Oshodi Apapa Expressway towards Anthony I saw a car hit a despatch ride bike and he fell off, most likely dead from the impact, I just paused momentarily and think of how he also left home like any other person seeking for daily bread, but it now appears he would be taken back home in a body bag. Its just sad, some of these Dispatch riders are more reckless than aboki bikers. Speeding, one way, overtaking in narrow places, some even brush your car and side mirrors.

I almost brush one on the culvert when i was about to turn into Parkview ikoyi yesterday. I don trafficate 200Metres away u still wan overtake me for that narrow space

Yeah they want drivers to slave for them

You ignore 1 trip or cancel they will remove one point

But to get one point back you need to complete atleast 3 back to back trips

Even trips out of your radius dey affect acceptance rate now

You problem could just be a recharge issue and you will be fine.

See an AC tech to help check and recharge if its low on freon.

Jst make sure your Radiator/condenser fan works well. Its good to run those personal check ocassionally as a driver

Guys Bolt is killing me

I accepted the promotion for 10 rides , yesterday drove all day to meet the target. Ended with 11 rides

Later at night, target was met and the bonus was credited to me.
I went to bed and this morning and my ride has been changed to 9, the whole bonus cleared and wiped out.

Plus, what do I do ?
Can someone also provide the official email to contact them because the one I sent the email to is not delivering.

My own bonus starts tomorrow midnight, check that the date is correct. Except they have different bonus for diff drivers

My car struggle to accelerate mostly when my AC is on. Mostimes when i slow down, and i attempt to accelerate again, there is a kind of lagging when i accelerate unless i press the throttle very hard. All of these happen mostly when the AC is on. When it's not on, the acceleration is fine, it doesn't struggle to work...

Did you just noticed this behaviour?

Is your car using the right OEM compressor made for the car model?

If yes, you might also be experiencing slow cooling at idle on hot afternoon.

Symptoms are that when u reach Traffic light the pressure from compressor to Condenser builds up and makes the compressor hard to turn, so when you intend to resume acceleration this would also affect cause engine has to work hard to roll the compressor from idle.

Whao. I like this. You are a bad guy. With the way you are going, you go bad pass 90% kazim AC techs. Since it doesn't trip at high speed, i feel it may be related to the pressure in the ac system itself. I dont have deep knowlegde, but let the knowledgeable ones talk.

I feel a good car ac should trip and start at intervals. But not within seconds. Thats the work of the thermostat. If your car is not overheating, no much problem, you may have a faulty ac thermostat. And as per rpm increasing, there should be a slight change in the level when your ac goes off, but it should not be that noticeable

Yeah boss, i think its a condenser heat exchange issue, i have been brainstorming with chatgpt & Deepseek since. Its a new condenser so i cant says its bad

I have a Guage to check AC psi, if the inside fan is 4 speed the AC works harder and the PSI increases to 42 above which will cause that RPM fluctuation issue at idle or traffic.

But immediately i reduce the Fan speed to 2 or 1 it makes the low side drop to 30 psi and the Compressor works normal no issue.

I think i need to drain and refill gas on a hot day with Fan on 4 speed, then recharge the AC to trip off at not more than 35psi on speed 4 without pouring water on condenser to cool it. So when i reduce the fan speed(3,2 & 1) it will even become cooler at different fan speed since my system is tuned to 35psi at highest speed(which is the best airflow to quickly remove heat in hot cabin)

Pouring water to achieve cooling while recharging will give issue later when condenser is left with only fan to regulate/cool temperature in traffic.

But will a bad thermostat give such issue because at constant drive or speed it doesnt give such issue?

I don change fan motor, i also made sure i check other corolla fans when i go mechanic side to see if they blow alike. I guess na heat buildup inside engine bay, because when i on am this morning with bonnet opened e work fine no rpm fluctuation, the RPM fluctuation start when i was recharging the gas weeks ago, i thought it would stabilize later but this problem comes back in traffic now.

I go try other diagnosis sha make i no go dey change parts wey no be the problem. Thats the real waste of money

Bolt clearly makes provision for that. I mean using AC or not. By their clearly stated categories. Dey won't frown if a rider complains of AC in regular bolt but renegotiating fares can get u blocked.

Indrive no send anybody. Na u and rider go sort una sef

I get 4 extra spark plugs and coils each, cos i do maintenance myself.

Abeg wetin fit make AC dey blow well when you dey drive on constant speed and also blow well when you just on am at idle. But if you leave am at idle for long e go start dey trip off and on within seconds

Same thing if you have been enjoying the AC and you immediately stop at a 5mins traffic it will start raising and dropping engine RPM.

New condenser bought, Radiator fan working, new expansion valve.

This morning when i came out of my street na shitty prices with long pickups full Uber. After rejecting 7-10 trips around 5:30am i vex on Indrive see better rides.

So na timing and positioning. Uber & Bolt will always try to use Driver head to break coconut feed Riders .because na riders dey bring the money, na you go wise not to slave for them

There's this thing that comes with spraying your car and keeping it clean, they just suddenly want you to wait for them, ask for your availability for other future trips and all. But if your car is bad In terms of presentation, they just can't wait to get off and be on their way

Even as a car owner/driver if you car is in bad shape you cant wait to park it and rest from the wahala

Moving man met his luck today..a female rider (late 50s) ish on bolt comfort from Lekki phase 1 to Lagos Marriot ikeja gave me 100k extra today just for waiting 2hours for a stop at palms shopping mall. All these while I have been suffering myself on indrive until I repainted my 2012 Honda Civic and got my bolt inspection done last week. Indrive will never see my brake light again. I told a rider yesterday when he entered and immediately request for AC. You saw SELECT option on Uber which says comfortable cars you no order u con pick Uber X the lowest. I told him Point black "BRO AC IS NOT PART OF MY SERVICE, IF YOU NEED PREMIUM SERVICE YOU WOULD HAVE PICKED UBER SELECT"
