BaronBright: Well, First of all, I salute all the programmers here, and the up-coming programmers. Una dey try I swear. I have a passion and flair for programming, but I neva get mind to start, it's like new languages and sequences are coming out every day and you won't know the one to pick from. And honestly my main reason for wanting to learn programming is to make money out of it, not just a hobby. I have the tools at my disposal (a strong laptop and good internet), I'm tech-savvy, and I believe age is on my side (I'm 20 and I recently wrote my final uni exams on August, I didnt read Computer).
So my main question now is, when I want to start learning, Which language would be better to learn first (as a launch pad for other languages)?
You can list them for me, I'll really appreciate. Thanks once again. Choose any top ten popular ones in this list.

Jack Dorsey, the ceo of Twitter uses nose rings and styles his hair in an "unprofessional" manner yet he is still leading a giant company successfully. nigerians and their misplaced priorities Unless you're an entrepreneur i.e the owner of a business, you've to look modest or corporate in the place you work or wish to work. No company wants to identify with any employee that'll make the organization look unpresentable or unprofessional to the public. |

Culture › Re: Can Everyone On Earth Be Rich? Let's Discuss by Eaztzide: 11:18am On Nov 25, 2019 |
Even if everyone should be given money or have equal net worth, some people will still be broke because while some are looking to increase their worth(for greed or business reasons), others will be spending on anything they can get. Also, people who produce or have something to sell, will keep getting richer while the remaining that have nothing to offer will just remain consumers which will result in depletion of the equal money given to them. All I'm saying is that no matter how much you give humans, if they don't put it into something meaningful, they'll still go back to square one. Remember, poverty is a mentality. |

drjprince: infinix and Tecno make phones with inferior chipset don't generalize Chinese phones because Hauwei is Chinese, Xiaomi is chinese
And they are not in anyway offering quantity over quality I use a Xiaomi phone anyways and I can tell you this when I started using an android device since I left the bondage of infinix and Tecno, I am never using them again very inferior devices That's why I said "most" not all. |

AngelicBeing: Well, I will not disagree with your post but my worries about the giving culture in Nigeria / Africa is that charlatans / guymen have hijacked the good intentions of the word GIVING, if you give to a church and part of the money is used to take care of full time missionaries / mission projects / promotion of mission activities and helping the poor folks in that local assembly with feeding and other support systems especially to the poor, l have no problem but if the money is only in the pocket of the pastor / wife / cronies / family members to eat and flex alone, then I have a big problem with that Someone will just wake up in the morning and say he was to become a pastor just for financial gains. In my area, the number of churches is so much that they even do churches in shipping containers. I go to some churches on the island and they'll be like "if you want to donate to the church with $100 and above, please signify and we'll specially pray for you". Not saying one shouldn't give, but that these people shouldn't turn the church to a commercial center |

AngelicBeing: I agree with your submission about donation, I was in Amsterdam in August 2004 for one month vacation, l attended a small church close to where I stayed, I wanted to give an offering to the church through the minister of the church, he refused to collect it, he said that the government gives them support and he doesn't need my money but I told him that I am giving it freely from my heart regardless of the support from the government, it was a rude shock to me but I still dropped the money for the church.
God is not hungry, poor or in need of quid to spend in heaven, how can the creator depend on his creation for any assistance, haba, God is too big to depend or ask anything from a wretched human, it is humans that needs financial help and not God, some fake preachers extort their gullible followers. Yes, God doesn't need our money but you have forgotten here in Africa that churches ain't sponsored by the government . Besides, most pastors are full-time and so, depend on tithes and offerings for their daily upkeep. God encourages giving to the church only that some NGC pastors overdo it and turn it to a compulsory thing. Even me myself won't give if I'm compelled to do so. Just saying tho. |
