S.tupid APGA lawmakers, you guys want to do anything to disrupt the positive changes going on in Aba, and Abia state. Go to Aba and see the level of decay, see the current massive work going on and you guys will understand that Abia needs all the money it can get now to pull the state out of the abyss... You guys want to paint the man Ikpeazu black, even though he is actively working, because your party did not win the governorship seat. And perhaps you lot were expecting him to start sharing the money meant for Abia's progress to you very greedy set yeye people |

An exclusive report reaching Trend has substantiated an allegation of fraud against some supposed media aides of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State. We received a message from one of the frustrated victims who obviously believe we have access to the Douglas House in order to know if they truly have fallen for a visible scam. One of the messages reads "On 9th July 2015, there was a quiz on the Governor's Facebook page asking people to name 3 APC governors and win a laptop and an LCD television. I got the answer correct and was asked to send N7,000 for delivery, since then no response from them. The account name is Kelvin Usiosefe, GT Bank account number is 016095264*. The mobile numbers are 09037509108, 08140490316. Please I want to know if this offer is genuine". We tried reaching the above number but the receiver was rather unresponsive. We are still trying to ascertain the number of people who fell for this scam. http://www.trendtopix.com/exposed-governor-okorochas-aides-defrauding-hapless-imolites/

Rotimi Amaechi has been branded uncorrupt by the APC…and seen to be real close to our agent of “change” President Muhammadu looking at him making Buhari’s list to US trip. Buhari has said he is out to fight corruption. Exclusive reports reaching TrendTopix reveals with facts and figures the in-depth corruption of the Amaechi led government while he was governor of Rivers State cleaning the coffers of the Rivers state. In 2008 we reliably gathered that Amaechi’s wife Judith Amaechi and Dr Samson Parker, the then Commissioner for health connived with a Canada based company “Clinotech LTD” to embezzle through the ministry of health 50 million dollars from the coffers of Rivers state in guise that they (Judith Ameachi,Dr Samson Parker and Clinotech LTD)wanted to excecute the project thought up by themselves of building 1000 bed hospital at “Greater CITY Port-harcourt” after they destroyed the former state hospital located by State CID that has been in existence for 25 years destroying and selling what was left claiming they wanted to build the 1000 bed hospital project on it and later backing out saying the soil test at the site of the former state Hospital failed which according to them made them move the 100 bed Hospital project to Greater City Port-harcourt which up till today no such hospital has been built and the 50 million dollars not returned back to the coffers of the Rivers state government. Also the Canadian company Clinotech LTD has since moved back to her base. This happened in Amaechi’s first term and suprising against the cries of the good people of Rivers state Dr Samson Parker continued service in Amaechi’s second term without any probe or Amaechi’s ensuring the project was carried out In another case of gross embezzlement in the Amaechi government, Amaechi sold out all three Electricity Gas Turbine in Rivers state namely Trans Amadi Gas Urban, Omoukwu Gas Urban and Afam Gas Urban for a whopping sum of 386 million dollars which was paid into the coffers of Rivers state with 30 million dollars initial payment with final payment of 356 million dollars. The 30 million dollars was paid early 2014 into Rivers state coffers but was diverted into an account of a Bureau De Change by Ameachi, then in the heat of the election campaign last year the final payment which is also the balance, 356 million dollars was paid into the Rivers state coffers in December of 2014 but Amaechi again the very next day of payment moved the money to a Bureau De Change with no single penny of the money left in the Rivers State coffers. The good people of Rivers state are asking the EFCC to immediately investigate this findings and bring Amaechi to book on his corrupt activities and make him return the money gotten from the Electricity Gas Urbans sale and also return the embezzled 50 million dollars stolen by his wife Judith Ameachi, Dr Samson Park and the Canada based company Clinotech LTD right under his watch and also bring them to book. They also calling on President Buhari who has promised Change and fight against corruption to leave no stone unturned in investigating Ameachi and his many dubious ways…. http://www.trendtopix.com/former-governor-amaechi-implicated-in-multi-million-naira-embezzlement-scandal/ |

ABOUT MAJEK FASHEK Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, is a Nigerian reggae singer and guitarist. Fashek was born in Benin City, Nigeria to an Edo mother and a Yoruba father. Fashek first gained national fame on a television show in the early 1980s as a member of Benin-based reggae group Jastix. His bandmates included Ras Kimono and Amos McRoy Gregg. They toured for many years with fellow reggae group The Mandators. In 1988, shortly after Jastix disbanded, he began a solo career and quickly became the best-known reggae artist in Nigeria. His song “Send Down The Rain” was a hit, and he won six US-based PMAN Music Awards. After leaving Tabansi Records, he was signed to CBS Nigeria in the early 1990s before moving to Island Records’ Mango imprint, a label more accustomed to marketing reggae internationally. His first album for the company included a cover version of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song”. In 1990 he was signed to Interscope Records and released the critically acclaimed album Spirit Of Love, produced by “Little Steven” Van Zandt. Flame Tree released The Best of Majek Fashek in 1994. He has recorded several albums for various labels since, including Rainmaker for Tuff Gong (1997) and Little Patience for Coral (2004). Fashek is one of the increasing number of African artists to be drawn to the music of the Caribbean, specifically reggae, rather than indigenous hybrids such as fuji, jùjú, or highlife. Having grown up in a fervently religious and musical family, he was exposed to the imported sounds of Bob Marley at an early age, alongside the innovations of local stars such as Fela Kuti. |
Much has been said about his current state of health, and his deplorable physical and perhaps psychological state, but one thing that can never be taken away from him is the talent that abounds. Majek Fashek was at one time touted to be the next Bob Marley of this world, but that dream, and expectation is at the risk of being cut short. We are dedicating this post to a legend who hopefully comes back to rule like he once did. This track ‘Holy Spirit’ was released in 1991 Download audio from here >> http://www.naijareplay.com/2015/07/nr-playback-majek-fashek-holy-spirit/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkJ_oAdKDa0

So, since we advertised our email to the public to start sending in thier emails for publication we've been getting all kinds of weird emails and this one particularly left me in a state of shock for quite a while. Read below. “Dear Trend, My mom and dad got divorced about six years ago. Since then it’s just been my mom, my sister and I. I get to see my dad once a month as we both live in different parts of the country It’s hard to fly up and visit him as much as I’d like to due to this little thing called money which my family is short of. I’ve also haven’t seen my mom with another man since the divorce since she wants us to grow up before she gets involved in a relationship again. The Event: About four weeks ago my dad called my mom up in a drunken rampage and screamed at her for a good hour about how he was cheating on her while they were married, how he’s not going give her a dime to cater for herself and children and how my mom was the scum of the earth. This caused my mom to fall into an emotional breakdown and she was pretty messed up that night. I came home from work and she was completely drunk. To be honest, I’ve never seen someone so drunk in my entire life. She was telling me about the phone call and how she wished my dad would just die. She was really open with her feelings and emotions and she was telling me a lot. She offered me some alcohol and I accepted, as I just needed that stuff after a crazy day at work. I love to drink a bit and I really just wanted to help her out. The last thing I wanted to do is refuse something from her and then have her start crying again. I had about six glasses and I started to get a little tipsy when she put her arm on me. Now usually I just push away as I hate the ‘mushy’ stuff from my mom. She always wants to spend time with me and touch me in a ‘mom – son’ way. Just love for your child I suppose but this time, I just accepted it I was really too drunk to care. What happened after this was completely unexpected. I’ve never thought about my mom this way before, not even the slightest. She’s my mom for God sake. My mom told me to shut my eyes, and she kissed me on the lips. I was completely stunned. I didn’t know what to do so I just sat there. “I love you Jide” “Umm… I love you too mom” By this point, I was completely confused, even more so for a drunk. I didn’t have the slightest clue what was going on. “No, Not like that Jide…” She put her hand on my lap over my family jewels and then kissed me again. She then started kissing me furiously and passionately. She then pulled off her shirt and mine and pretty much, well pushed me onto the floor. She was on top of me and there was really not much I could do. I was being seduced by my own mom. I couldn’t believe it. Then we made a huge mistake…we did it. I didn’t even want this. I didn’t even want my mom to touch me; I hate it when she touches me but the effects of alcohol took its place and turned us into horrible monsters. Although I don’t like to admit it, I had never had it this great. We finished up and she left to go to the washroom to clean up. I don’t remember anything else about the night. I probably went to sleep waiting for her to come back. A lot of the night is fragmented and even today I still have trouble remembering it completely. In the morning she never mentioned it at all and she acted completely normal despite the fact that she slept with her own son. The Problem: Everything went fine up until today when my mom called me up at work. “Jide, we need to talk. It’s really important” I didn’t know what was going on. I thought maybe someone died or she found porn in my stuff. “Yeah Mom… What is it?” “I feel really uncomfortable about it; I don’t think I can explain it to you on the Phone” I told my mom that was alright and I’d be home from work in an hour and we could talk about it then. I get home and I see that my mom is sitting on the couch. Her face was all swollen, and I could tell that something really bad happened. It looked like she was crying for a long time. “What’s wrong?” I asked her. “I think I’m pregnant” I was completely shocked. My mom hasn’t even dated another guy since she divorced my dad and I was a hundred percent sure that she wasn’t seeing another guy. “Did you take a test?” “Yeah, it’s positive” We just sat there completely still. I didn’t know what to say. Now I’m very confused and frustrated. I don’t know what to do. Please advice me”. http://www.trendtopix.com/i-got-my-mum-pregnant-im-confused/ |

A Trend reader sent this to us this morning to post for her an kindly ask for your advice... Read below 'Hi Prisca. I need you to post this article on your blog because am very confused right now and I need the best advice I can get. I have been dating a guy for two years and nearly six months and we have been having a great relationship. I went for my industrial training and came back to find out that my boyfriend has changed. He is no longer the guy I used to know and love. Everything about him had changed. When I asked him he Said it was stress from work, that I should try and understand and I did. I went to his house when he was not around to see his flat mate and he(boyfriend) asked me to stay and wait for him. I waited all through the night. While I waited I saw a girl's loosed weave scattered on the floor. I gathered them. I decided to check around the room. And to my greatest surprise I found clothes and undies that were not mine. I was so shocked. Haven't confronted him yet because he is not back. So I need advice... How do I go by this Yours, http://www.trendtopix.com/relationshit-should-i-leave-my-boyfriend/ |
