Many eastern states have voted out unpopular candidates in the past based on their personal records and not party, even if the so called candidates has the power of incumbency.

ohakim was voted out even though he was in PDP because of his underachievement and not because of the party he belongs to.
Enugu state has remain a PDP because they have been lucky so far with governors that are ready to work.

If they voted out okorocha today, it won't be because of his party but his performance. Most people in the east don't care about party, in fact they are not party fanatics, some don't even know the name of the party their candidates belong, except the candidates name.The sooner you realise that the better for you.

In the early part of February 2015, Assistance Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mbu Joseph Mbu was reported to have locked no fewer than 50 policemen in Police cells in Lagos State, where he was newly posted to serve.

According to media reports, “The AIG while fielding questions from Journalists after a closed-door lecture with senior police officers at the Ogun State Command, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, said about 70% of officers lack discipline.



“According to the police boss, the offence of the officers ranged from wearing dirty uniforms, bathroom slippers, carrying riffles while wearing mufti, amongst others; adding that, these attitudes are against the codes of Conducts. He however assured that he trusted the officers that they would turn over a new leaf within the space of one month.”

At Osisioma Junction in Aba, Abia State, this reporter spotted a policeman who deserved Mbu’s Police cell for dressing indecently. The reporter snapped a photo of him. He was wearing sandals and was flagging vehicles down supposed to be for a mutual search. His appearance reminded this reporter the statement by Mbu thus: “What I have noticed is that there is much indiscipline amongst the policemen, they dress anyhow; come to Lagos, they are more than 50 in my cell.

“They dress the way they like, they wear bathroom slippers, they wear mufti and carry riffles; this is not part of the police work. They are in the cell already, they are being punished and I know my men, within the next one month, they will change.”

I'm not from Imo State, I'm from Abia but have lived in Imo for the past seven years. And my honest wish is this this: please Imo people, let's swap governors, even if it is for 24hours only.

My people, when you see a man who is in governance for the good of his people, you will know.

Imo state state is definitely much more better than what I used to know. Tho, as a human Rochas cannot cover everything, but if you follow his policies you will find a man who has a clearly well defined goal, and knows how to go about it.

If you want to know what he has done, just enter Imo state and see for yourself. I can host you while you're at it.



And I love what he does, he calls them 'My people my people" and they reply "Our governor our governor". It has sort of become an informal greeting between the governor and the people of Imo state.

And I don't think his current party of affillition has anything to do with his good records, Rochas has always been a leader. Infact people started hating on Rochas the very day he joined APC, not that they have a good reason to, but because APC is widely considered in the East as a Nothern/Muslim and anti-Igbo party.

A new ‘aggressive’ form of HIV develops into AIDS so quickly patients can develop symptoms before they realize they are infected.

The new variant can progress to AIDS in just three years, say scientists from Belgium’s KU Leuven.

Writing in the journal EBioMedicine, the researchers say that the aggressive new form has been seen in patients in Cuba.

The researchers believe that the deadly new strain was ‘born’ inside the bodies of patients infected with multiple strains of HIV.

The new strain attacks patients bodies far faster than other strains of HIV as it ‘skips a stage’ in the normal infection process.
